-A familiar female trainer is looking out to sea with a Grovyle, a Pikachu, a Skarmory, and an Illumise-

Trainer: "It sure is beautiful to watch the sun set from here, isn't it?"

<Fern: "Tell me about it.">

<Amelia: "When are you ever going to fully evolve, Fern?">

<Fern: "Eh. I'm pretty content with the way I am now... What would I need that extra power for? I can already keep Carol safe fine as it is...">

<9-Volt: "Oh so that's how you wound up evolving in that other time...">

<Fern: "What was that, 9-Volt?">

<9-Volt: "... Nothing... I was just thinking about something...">

<Beatrice: "That strange dream that you had?">

<9-Volt: "It wasn't a dream! That all happened! You all were there!">

<Fern: "9-Volt, calm down! We weren't making fun of you or anything!">

<Amelia: "It's just that your story's a little hard to believe...">

<9-Volt: "But Carol! She met- And then there was Scumbag!">

<Fern: "... Carol really named a Pokemon 'Scumbag'?">

<9-Volt: "Well... No... That was me... Actually... Now that I think about it... I wish that I had given him more of a chance... He actually seemed like a decent Pokemon after we started to get to know him...">

<9-Volt: "I don't know where you are, other me... But I really hope that you're giving Vektor a chance... The chance that I was stubborn enough to withhold...">

-walks off about 50 yards down the beach, holding two Pokeballs and a Great Ball. Standing where it can reasonably assumed that no one can hear me, I release the two Pokeballs. Darrel and Rage materialize in front of me-

Darrel: <Oooh... where are we?>

The Orang Islands. Somewhere warm, just like you wanted.

Rage: <Time to go, then...>

... Yeah.

-is suddenly tackle-hugged by Darrel-

Darrel: <Bye, Crewe! I'll miss you!>

-awkwardly pats his head-

I'll miss you too, Darrel. And you, Rage.

-the Gyarados whaps the Ampharos with his tail-

Rage: <C'mon fuzzball, time to go.>

-Darrel climbs off me and I get up, brushing sand off me-

Well... bye...

-the two nod, then turn and head off inland, sticking close together and looking a little unsure of themselves. Darrel turns once and waves, and I hold up a hand. Then he turns around and disappears. I slowly lower my hand and look down at the Great Ball, then take a deep breath and turn towards the ocean-

Fade decided it would be funny if she dropped me onto the beach from eight feet up.

Fade: <Not for fun. Was hungry.>

So feed off someone else's fear for a change!

-Me and my team have just spent the afternoon shopping. Things went relativity smoothly apart from when Guardé tried to rescue another trainer from her own Gliscor (Which had ended up with him being whacked around the head by her Conkledurr).

I had decided while I was shopping that it would be a lot easier if I could have some way of telling my Pokémon apart from others at a distance more easily. Lake has his gloves, Woolly has her scarf, and Chord has his Guitar but my other mons didn't, so I corrected that mistake by buying them all something they had picked out to wear.

Stratus picked a rather cool Visor to wear over his eyes while flying or swimming, Treeo went for a simple red sash that he now has tied around his head. Harriet was a bit more grand, requesting that I purchase a rather rare shiny Pidgeot feather (but being a Pokémon trainer pays well, so it wasn't like I couldn't afford it), which is now sticking proudly out of the Honckrow's "Hat".

Guardé was a bit harder to deal with. After sternly telling him that no, I would not buy him a full set of medieval armor, he had eventually decided that he didn't need anything.-

Are you SURE that you don't want anything to wear, Guardé?

Gaurdé: <No, there's no need! Besides, a hero like me does not need any means to identify himself! My very appearance alone will be enough to have the masses turn their heads and say "Look! It's the great Hero Guardé!">

...Right.

Harriet: -Wingpalms.- <Ugh! What kind of fantasy world is that mon living in?>

Treeo: <I dunno, Harriet. But it's definitely not here, that's for sure.>
