-I have to cover my eyes, but I can distinguish Maekrite's body patterns changing ever so slightly as the sunlight covers him-

It feels warm... what is this? An attack that Nidoran can learn, or something that Ho-Oh has given to him specifically? And why?

-Maekrite's "poison point" spots shine a golden color for a while, before the sunlight subsides and reveals his body has changed in little details, mostly the fact that his spots are now a bit larger and present a sort of a yellow shading. He stays there bowing, eyes closed. Feeling that he has changed...-

Maekrite☼.EX — <I-I... this power.> — raises his head and squares up to Ho-Oh. — <This will allow me to take care of my Trainer for a long time...>

-turns to me with a bit of sadness, but as he seens me with Shahinne on my arms, he turns to Ho-Oh and and smiles-

Maekrite — <Can I ask... Sun God, if the other me... will he get this power too, to protect him? To protect the Colony?>

— ...I don't understand what is happening...

Hmm... I want to go around catching various Sinnoh Pokemon before we leave and do some training while I'm at it... But if I leave without telling anyone, they'll get worried about me... So I better tell them that I'm going to be training for a while
