Velvet: (nods) <I know... This is all Cyrus' fault...> (sighs) <A lot has changed... My children... I don't think any of them were born in this timeline... DS caught the Smeargle that fathered them at some point after defeating the Elite Four, but due to Sinnoh's state in this timeline...>

Sol: <...Oh. I'm so sorry.> -Hangs her head.- <This is awful...>

Velvet: (nods) <Yeah... But... We'll be able to fix things once we free Dialga and Celebi from Cyrus' control... Of course, that may be easier said than done... But, I'm sure we'll find a way.>

Sol: <Yeah...I hope so, Velvet.>

-Sol lets out a sigh.-

Sol: <What am I supposed to do now? I'm not used to being an Umbreon...>

Velvet: <Hmm...> (remembers something) <Hey, Umbreons can learn Psychic via TM, right? Of course, it probably wouldn't be as powerful as an Espeons Psychic, but hey, at least it's something.>

Sol: <Oh, yeah. They can, can't they? It wouldn't be the same, but it's better than nothing. I can't read my books without- OH NO, MY BOOKS!!! They're...They're gone.> -Flattens ears again.- <Great. No Psychic powers, no books...This is getting worse by the minute.>

Velvet: <Aww... Don't worry, I'm sure things will work out somehow.>

Sol: <I hope so. Because I don't think I can live like this. We're supposed to be sorting this out soon, aren't we?>

Velvet: (nods) <Yes. I believe we will be confronting Cyrus soon.>

Sol: <Oh. I guess that I won't have to be like this for long, then.

Ah fuck it, let me just get to Sinnoh already.

Velvet: <... It's okay. Once Dialga fixes things, they'll be brought back, along with all the other Pokémon from our timeline that don't exist in this one...>

- In another dimension -

- DS is still sitting curled up in front of the petrified Palkia, while the Lake Trio are talking amongst themselves, trying to figure out what to do -

Mesprit: <So... What are we supposed to do?>

Uxie: <... I am not sure.>

Azelf: <You don't know?> (sighs) <Great, just great... So, are we just going to give up?>

... No...

- The Lake Trio look over at me as I stand up -

... We're not giving up.

- I turn around to face the Lake Trio -

Everything we did... All this walking... It was not for nothing.

- I look up at Palkia again -

There must be a way out of this. There must.

Mesprit: <But how?>

I don't know... But... Think about this. Instead of killing me on Cyrus' orders, Dialga sent me here.

- The Lake Trio exchange glances as I continue to explain -

... He could've sent me to the past, or the future, or even a different timeline if he wanted to, but no, Dialga chose to send me here. Right where he knew you three would find me during your search for Palkia even!

Uxie: <... I think you are right. When you put it that way, it does not seem like it could be a mere conincidence.>

- Nods -

Exactly. Dialga must've sent me here for a reason.

Mesprit: <Oh!>

Azelf: <Hey, that's great! But... What is that reason? What does he want you to do?>

... That is the part I haven't figured out yet.

Uxie: <Well then, I guess we should try to help you figure it out. I'm sure the four of us can think of something.>

- The four of us begin trying to figure out what exactly Dialga is expecting from us -

<Pascal: "Are you sure you didn't want to go with the others, man? I mean... They asked and all, dude...">

<Mike: "Nah, I'm good. I couldn't train if I did.">

<Zoe: "Well at least he gets to be around us...">

<Pascal: "I guess that works, man...">

<Mike: "I just wish that we could do something more than simply training. That we could have a real battle or-">

-Abruptly falls through the ground, with it seemingly undisturbed-

<Zoe: "MIKE!">

<Pascal: "Are you okay, dude?">

-The patch of ground clears to reveal a metal plate with conversion gel painted on the surface facing up-

<Zoe: "Oh no...">

<Pascal: "You don't think...">

-Mike falls from a portal on the ceiling that abruptly closes after exiting it, bracing himself for landing on the floor below-

<Mike: "How did I not see that again? Oh... Right.">

-Notices a blue suit of power armor in same room-

<Mike: "Huh... It's just like one of those suits from my games... I wonder...">

-Unseen-

<Richard: "Muahahahaha! I see that you're a fan of military hardware too! So stop dawdling and get in it already!">

<Mike: "Grr... Richard!">

<Richard: "Well? Come on, it's waiting...">

<Vlad: "Wait, what is it that we can do for your tribe again?">

<Shaun: "But isn't the reason why they're as dangerous as they are to your tribe in this timeline because they're starving themselves? How would we get around that?">

<???: "H-Hey! Wh-Who's there?!">

-The form of Yellow Threedot appears from around a corner-

<Yellow Threedot: "Oh, it's you guys again... Was there something that brought you back here?">

"Actually... We were a little worried about you guys. We wanted to ask if you guys were open to a little help..."

-Ends up inside a certain house within Twinleaf Town-

Darn it, I get the feeling this isn't where you meant to teleport us Xatu.

Xatu: <All these portals being around interfered with my teleportation and dumped us inside here. That, and you happened to be momentarily distracted.>

Muddy: <Why don't we take a look outside?>

-Looks outside-

Gaia: <Wow...>

-The sky is completely dark, with large rips in reality in the sky, and in the direction of Mt. Coronet, a giant purple distorted mass is in the place of the mountain-

What happened to this place?

Garchomp: <The Great Cataclysm Tagg.>

Torchic: <Sinnoh's gotten so scary.>

Musashi: <While looking at that sky is interesting and all, shouldn't we get moving?>

Yeah, I guess. That delayed psychic message from Cobalt should be hitting the others by now.

-Walks out of the house with my Pokemon while the iPhokex starts playing this-

<Pascal: "That's what happened, dude...">

<Zoe: "Yeah, we saw it with our own eyes.">

<Aloysius: "... That fox is somehow responsible for this, isn't he?">

<Nathan: "Knowing our luck, he probably is. And from the sound of it, he used a portal so Mike could be anywhere.">

<Zoe: "And using the other portals to look for him is an even blinder shot than using those space tunnels to find you guys...">

<Aloysius: "We should really tell Tracer about this... Maybe he'd have a better idea of what to do...">

<Pascal: "So what are we waiting for, man? We know where he is, let's get going!">

-The six set off for the space tunnels-

-In the warehouse, after climbing into the power armor-

<Mike: "How does this thing work anyways? It's like that one game with the mental controller!">

-Begins experimenting with switches and levers at random-

-The first one sends a missile into a wall-

<Mike: "... Okay, keep that one in mind for later.">

-Another causes an array of weapons to fan out-

<Mike: "... That would be useful... If I knew how to move!">

-The input is toggled again, causing the array to retract-

-Moves arms a bit-

<Mike: "Honestly! They could have come up with an easier cont-">

-And the power armor does the same-

<Mike: "Oh... So that's how I'm supposed to move around...">

-From outside-

<Richard: "Are you done yet?">

<Mike: "Grr... I can't help but feel that I'm missing something though...">

<Yellow Threedot: "Yeah, they said something about wanting to help us.">

-While following-

<Kit: "That's what they call the Sinnoh Marowak's counterpart in this timeline, Chain of Spades.">

<Kat: "Right, I knew that...">

<Toothless: "Oh great, how did she wind up coming with us?">

<Jodie: "You should consider yourself lucky that Mike isn't here, you impudent lizard!">

-Receiving a psychic message from Colbalt-

"Wait a minute... Cobalt? Tagg's in this region too? Why didn't he tell us?"

-A ragged looking Haxorus appears along with a bunch of other assorted mons, all with glowing red eyes-

Audilith: <What's a Haxorus doing in Sinnoh, and why do they all have glowing eyes?>

Throh: <Those rifts we saw probably brought them here.>

Crazed!Haxorus: <Get them!>

Luxray: <Good luck with that axeface.>

-Everyone gets into fighting poses to face the mob-

Woolly: <So, we fight Cyrus tomorrow...don't we?>

-Is petting Woolly.- ...Yeah. That's the plan.

Flare: <Well, I'm not worried. As we've said before, he's got a mad time pony and an overgrown onion, but we have Reshiram and Zekrom. Not to mention all of us.>

Lake: <They are gods, though, Flare. And one of them helped to create the universe itself. We're talking huge amounts of power, there. Plus, we all know what he did to DS...>

Flare: <...Yeah.>

Unite: -Sighs.- <It's not just that to worry about. There's still the issue of what's going to happen to this universe. Sure, it may not be as good as our universe, but I don't want to be the one responsible for wiping it out.>

Stratus: <Yeah. None of us want that.>

Mmm. Wait...Colbalt? What are you doing in my...? WHAT?!

Lake: <What's the matter?>

...Tagg's in Sinnoh. And he's going to fight...Some guy called Neptune, apparently.

Unite: <What?! Is he CRAZY?!>

Flare: -Sighs.- <First DS, now Tagg. Does everyone have a death wish all of a sudden?>

Stratus: <That doesn't matter, We have to go and help him!>

Right!

Lake: -Gets up.- <Let's get a move on! He could be in danger over there!>

Stratus: <How are we supposed to get there, though?>

Lake: <There's a space tunnel somewhere around here. We can head down through it to reach Sinnoh!>

Unite: <Well, what are we waiting for, then? Let's go!>

-In the warehouse-

-Mike has finally figured out how to move around-

<Mike: "... So now wha-">

-Notices a black suit of power armor appear out of an illusion at the end of a hallway, with doors steadily closing-

<Mike: "Grr... You're not getting away!">

-Attempts to run down hallway, but finds self unable to keep up-

<Mike: "Darn it, where's the boost when you NEED i- WHOA!">

-And happens to toggle a button activating the power armor's booster system, which rockets him through the almost closed doors-

-In the black power armor-

<Richard: "Muahahaha!">

<Mike: "RICHARD!">

<Richard: "What do you stand for Michael? Be certain now! Be certain as the blood gushing out of your nose when I bash it in! Be certain of your death here and now!">

-A set of doors behind Richard open, revealing a massive tank-

-After climbing onto the tank-

<Richard: "Now... Come at me, with all your body and soul! I'll hug you to death!">

-In Sinnoh, leaving the cave hosting the foyer, and looking out at the sky-

<Milo: "I never would have thought that Sinnoh would have ever become like this...">

<Shaun: "I know... It's like a giant nightmare...">

<Sharp Bone: "You wouldn't know the beginning of it... These storms have brought strange fiends to this land... Ones that even the more normal fiends fear and despise...">

<Leana: "Huh? What are they like?">

<Luxio: "They're- They're something... Else...">

<Sharp Bone: "We can't peg what they are, but they don't appear to be creatures that are anything like us.">

Space tunnels

-Guided by Woolly's tail bulb, me, Lake, Unite, Flare, Stratus, Treeo and Harriet race down the tunnel as fast as our legs/wings can carry us.-

Flare: <Darn it, Tagg! You're proving to be a lot more trouble than you're worth right now!>

Stratus: <Don't say that, Flare. He's just trying to help...>

Flare: <DS tried to help too. And she ended up dead, Stratus!>

Stratus: <We don't know that for sure...>

Lake: <...Flare?>

Flare: <Yes?>

Lake: <You're worried about Torchic, aren't you?>

Flare: <...Yes.>

Lake: <It's okay...We'll save her. As well as Tagg.>

Flare: <Grr...I'm going to give him a stern talking too after all this is over...>

Woolly: <Oh! I can see light just ahead!>

Treeo: <Doesn't look very bright, though.>

Unite: <Yeah. There's a good reason for that...>
