This hallway is all peoples' rooms. I assume he told you that much. The one to the left as you leave the console room is Blue's. I think he may be asleep right now, so we probably shouldn't go in there.

We're the room next to it, obviously, so you don't need to see that.

Across from Blue is Cynthia. -opens the door-

-The desk has piles of notebooks on it, filled with everything from personal diaries, to Pokemon statistics, to war plans. There is a book shelf, absolutely packed with books of varying sizes and subjects. The bunk looks typical of Cynthia, made with a very subdued, dark blue comforter. A teddy bear sits on the night stand, next to a picture of Cynthia with DS.-

-In the air-

"Here. We. Go. KROWAGA!"

-A focused array of 70 Dark Pulses slices into the hull of the leftmost ship at the water mark, punching a gaping hole-

<Guy: "... 'Krowaga?'">

<Sabine: "What? I thought it was cute...">

-Kammy, Pascal, and Milo are furiously spamming Ice Beam down the corridor-

<Milo: "Not so tough when you can't dodge are ya?">

<Kammy: "How's it feel to get beaten by a girl, you sexist pricks?!">

...Where is DS, anyway? I haven't seen her at all. Then again, I haven't seen a lot of you...

Can we look quickly in Blue's room anyway? If we're really quiet?

-does not order a Krowaga, as I do not trust myself to open my mouth-

Vibra: -blasts a Golem with a pulse of sound, sending it flying down the hall- <Take that!>

-meanwhile, an Accelgor is headed for Blobble at incredible speed-

Blobble: Sure, you're one of the fastest mons in the world...

-slugs the Accelgor, knocking it out instantly-

But in these quarters, you're still just target practice.

Uh...sure. I guess.

-opens the door to reveal a very standard looking bunk with a couple personal details, like a poster of the Kanto Starters, and a picture of Blue and his grandpa on the desk. Blue is sleeping in the bed.-

-Resists the urge to disturb Blue-

Okay.

-Notes his reluctance to answer regarding DS, and decides to drop the issue until tomorrow-

-draws her sword and points it at the second-to-leftmost ship-

Attack!

-about 60 Murkrow hit the ship with a synchronized Dark Pulse-

Wow. The Murkrow battalion I commanded was never this organized.

-closes the door quietly- Next to Cynthia is N. -opens the door on the sparsely decorated room of gently-not so gently used items- He didn't really have anything when we found him, so most of his stuff is just things we weren't using anymore. Books, an old television, etc. The only things he had with him were some clothes, that journal on the nightstand, and a stuffed Phanpy toy.

Okay.

-Sees another warship-

Bombs away!

-Sends out another murder of Murkrow to attack a warship-

Muddy: -Uses Brick Break on a Glalie- <What's the matter, can't fight something you can't just bully?>

Eelektross: -Uses Acrobatics on a Breloom- <Take that!>

Nudi: -Draws several miscellaneous water attacks to himself and uses their power to one shot a Magmortar with Waterfall- <Not so tough now are you!>

Musashi: -Takes down an Alakazam with Megahorn- <I think we're almost there!>

-Is still training with Altair-

Vibra: <That's a pity, I was just getting warmed up!> -continues smashing mons out of her way-

Blobble: <That's nice...I was getting tired of steamrollering these weaklings anyway.> -curls himself into a ball and rockets forward, crashing through a group of Cacturne-

-moves on- This is Steven's room. He doesn't like people going in there, but if we just take a quick peek, he'll never know.

Or rather, he will, but he won't try to hurt anyone. -opens the door to reveal a geek's paradise. A TV, with several game consoles hooked up to it, as well as a DVD player. A computer sits next to the setup. A shelf lined with games and DV Ds sits near the ceiling, filling two walls.-

Like I told Crewe: Steven has (or rather, had) a lot of free time.

...I wish I could stay in there. But then Steven would be there too.

Yeah, he's not keen on anyone touching his stuff, either. I think Crewe's the only person he's let take things from here, and that's because he has a soft spot for Dana.

-In the hold of the slave ship-

<Kammy: "Tell me, how on earth did you nimrods come to the conclusion that females were always only good for slave fodder... For every species of Pokemon?!">

<Pascal: "Clearly you all need a little lesson in respect, man!">

<Milo: "You should just be glad that my Gliscor friend isn't down in this hull! He'd probably be ripping your guts out right now!">

-In the sky, at another set of ships-

-About a second later-

<Vlad: "... Um...">

<Gligar!Vlad: "What did that last part mean, big me?">

<Shaun: "That's really his signal?">

<Erika: "Technically, that last bit was just for emphasis...">

I need to sleep soon, so can we move to the next room? I believe there's still Crewe's and Star's rooms, and then other stuff?

-In the slave hold-

Muddy: <I think there's humans here too.>

Eelektross: -Hears Muddy- <Well that complicates things.>

Musashi: <It smells like-No, those bastards.>

Nudi: -To the slave mons and humans- <Don't worry, we're here to save you.>

Crewe's room is empty except for a small TV, and I don't know if Star has anything at all yet. Maybe a few books. I'd rather not walk into their rooms while they're sleeping.

I'll show you where they are, though. -goes to the second hall- Crewe's is second on the left, Star is directly across from her. The head (bathroom) is that door at the end of the hall, across from the ladder.

There's nothing on the lower decks except storage.

-Altair has walked off after taking several hits, I continue training against the various mons in the Entree Forest who think they have a chance of getting a hit in-

-In the hold, watching a number of slaves shrink back-

Slave!Girl: "EEK! N-NO! GO AWAY, BAD POKEMON!"

<Kammy: "... Ugh... Those cretins never cease to find new ways of making me sick...">

<Slave!Buizel: "I-I j-just wanna s-see mom again...">

<Pascal: "It's okay, little dude... We'll work it out...">

-Feebly-

<Slave!Dratini: "W-Wait! Have any of you h-heard from my brother?! H-He's supposed to be someone important! He must be worried s-sick about me!">

<Milo: "I really wish I could say we have...">

-About 15 minutes and 30 sunken ships later, via Aura-

<Sabine: "Alright, everyone in those ships who's not a slave and not dead, onto the decks and lie facedown! You've seen what we just did to the rest of your fleet, don't think that we can't do the same to you!">

-The decks of the slave ships, which are the only remnants of the invasion fleet, start to fill up with surrendering Pokemon-

Eelektross: -Looks at the enslaved humans while holding several young Pokemon- <They're all so afraid of us. I'd hug them but well...>

-Pans out to show Eelektross' size compared to most of everyone else-

<They might think I'm going to eat them.>

Nudi: <Well I'm much smaller than you guys, so maybe I can help.>

-Moves over to the slave girl and puts his head under her hand-

Slave!Mudkip: -To Muddy- <You guys saved us.>

Muddy: -To the Mudkip- <All in a day's work kid.>

Musashi: -In the background- <I can't wait to make that Lanius pay.>

-Looks at the mons surrendering on deck-

Lanius is definitely going to be pissed.

Draca: <Excellent, that's just what that sexist prick needs.>

Two hours later

Lanius: -Has learnt about what happened from an Alakazam that managed to teleport away and is using said Pokemon to transmit a message to all of his forces- <From now on, the mons and humans responsible for that raid are now considered priority targets. The mon that manages to bring me their heads shall be rewarded handsomely.>

<Vlad: "... Have we really made things that much better?">

<Gligar!Vlad: "We helped all of those people and Pokemon get away. That horrible otter won't be able to hurt them any more...">

<Kit: "The alternative was to send them back and let a tenth of them get killed at random. And we'd have to fight them again later too...">

<Erika: "Well, if you can get around the fact that we're probably now some of the biggest targets in this region... We just crippled that prick's army.">

<Iron Marrow: "What makes you say that, fiend?">

<Teala: "She's right. That horrid Samurott is always dependent on those slaves to keep his forces fighting properly.">

<Erika: "Oh right, you're from that tower that was besieged...">

<Burny: "W-We're g-going to all d-die for wh-what happened earlier tonight, a-aren't we?">

<Zoe: "Maybe, but they'll have to catch us first.">

<Mike: "Then they'll have to beat us.">

<Nadia: "I just hope that I'm not scaring him too much by being out here...">

<Serperior: "What is the news from the rest of our theater?">

<Magmortar: "There have apparently been a number of concerning developments in and around Goldenrod, General.">

<Serperior: "... What happened?">

<Magmortar: "There was apparently a targeted attack by the Nidoran in one of the western districts. The Cinccino commander in the area was killed along with several fairly powerful patrol members, a number of others have been badly wounded.">

<Serperior: "... You mentioned more than one development, what are the others?">

<Magmortar: "We have found evidence that the Nidoran may be launching operations in the city with the aid of other Pokemon.">

<Serperior: "... They're recruiting?">

<Magmortar: "It appears so, General. We expect that resistance may be markedly more fierce from here on out. Especially along Routes intersecting with known Nidoran territory.">

<Serperior: "... Their numbers are much smaller than ours... But they have a much greater familiarity with the territory around them...">

<Magmortar: "... Speaking of which, sir. It appears that the center of their colony's population base may have shifted southward towards Azalea Town.">

<Serperior: "... I see that things keep becoming more complicated... But no matter, it still appears that this campaign is winnable, if a little more difficult than I had initially hoped... Warn patrols on Route 34, southern Route 33 and in Azalea to also be on the lookout for Nidoran. Apply the same protocols that are present in Goldenrod to them. As for Goldenrod, have some scouts comb the perimeter regions for any potential entry sites that we may have left insufficiently secured against the Nidos. They have to be coming from somewhere...">

<Magmortar: "It may not be quite as pertinent, but there was also a raid against some Nidos that dug in at a pharmacy earlier today in one of the eastern sectors. Despite our offers of surrender, they refused to comply, the majority of them appeared to have perished, including a number of young, a small number are believed to have attempted to escape east of the city.">

<Serperior: "... Ugh... If they had young with them, why did they not surrender to remove them from harm's way? What a waste...">

-Rushing in-

<Eelektross: "General! News has just arrived from the Kanto theater!">

<Serperior: "So the ogre has somehow managed to finally take Vermillion?">

<Eelektross: "Um... Last I heard, the local military was still entrenched in the districts away from the coasts. The assault on Fuschia appears to have been outright disastrous, his forces are still effectively pinned against the beaches... But that's not what I just heard!">

<Serperior: "... Then what was it?">

<Eelektross: "His fleet has apparently been annihilated, sir. All ships other than his... "Support" vessels have been confirmed to be sunken, and those have vanished without a trace.">

<Serperior: "Ugh... Those poor souls... How on earth our lords can tolerate that ogre's conduct without becoming sick utterly baffles me... Have they found what party was responsible?">

<Blastoise: "It was apparently five trainers affiliated with the local resistance, along with a large number of Murkrow.">

<Serperior: "So the ogre has been shaking the Beedrill's nest... It's a shame that the locals' first major victory had to be mired with the loss of so many who ought to have never BEEN in that theater...">

<Blastoise: "Did we wish to send word to our fleet to alter its current illusion protocol?">

<Serperior: "Yes. Have the Zoroark cast illusions on a per-craft basis rather than per-cluster. I see no reason to leave myself vulnerable to the ogre's mistake...">

-After a pause-

<Serperior: "Is there any news from the lizard's theater?">

<Blastoise: "None, sir. He appears to have not made any movements today.">

<Serperior: "Erratic as usual, I see... I suppose that will be all. Get some rest, we march against Violet tomorrow.">
