Goggles: <Huh, that does sound annoying...> (shrugs) <Well, I've sort of been sorting out those two sets of memories in my head... Haven't really figured out how exactly to restore Artemis' memory, or how to find DS...> (realizes something) <Hey, wait a minute...>

Morning Mezzo. Did you sleep any better?

-Quest Island-

-Is waking up-

"(*yawn*) Good morning, everyon-"

-Notices that entire group is awake-

"... You're all up early, what's going on?"

<Teala: "... Who wanted to tell him?">

<Shaun: "I'll tell him. ... Tracer. Something horrible is happening back home.">

"... What is it?"

-About 30 seconds later-

"No. NO. NO! THAT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO BE POSSIBLE! "

...Yes? What is it?

-Reaches out toward Goggles, hoping he'll pull me up. Gently-

Goggles: <... Why hasn't DS tried to find Artemis and restore her memory?> (notices Anom reaching out, and realizes after a few seconds what it is he wants and begins trying to gently help him up)

A little. The other me came and talked to me again in my dream.

-Is now standing up-

Thank you. I... don't know why DS hasn't tried. Maybe she lost her memories too? Or can't reach Artemis at the moment?

Uh-oh.

What'd she say?

Goggles: (thinks for a moment) <Hmm... Both of those possibilities seem likely... Not sure which one it is, though.>

She said that you and I were both worthless. But I know that's not true.

Well, I'm going out there and finding it out, Goggles.

Do you have paper and a pen?

-smiles-

See? Soon you won't even be having the nightmares.

-smiles back-

Yeah, I really hope so.

-A group of Feraligatr has gone to see their families' Elder to ask him about providing assistance to the Pokémon in Goldenrod City. Unfortunately, they haven't gotten the answer they were hoping for...-

Tide: <I'm sorry, but the answer is no.>

River: <What?!>

Swamp: <But why not! We really want to help!>

Creek: <There are so many Pokémon and people being killed over here! We can't just stand by and let this happen!>

Tide: <Look, I know how you all feel. Those monsters from Unova should not be allowed to just walk in here and start killing people just because they feel like it. But I can't let you go. I don't want any of you to get hurt.>

Swamp: <You don't need to worry about us, gramps! We're perfectly capable of looking after ourselves!>

Creek: <Yeah, we're some of the best battlers in our family!>

Tide: <It's not the same, though! Those invaders are not playing by the rules. They can and will try to kill you! And none of you are trained to fight dirty like that!>

River: <Please, Tide! Some of our family could be there! We still have most of them unaccounted for! Like...Like my brother...>

Tide: <River, your brother was chosen by Giovanni's son. I'm sure that a coward like him would stay as far away from a conflict like this as possible. We have no reason to be worried for him.

Now, that is the end of this matter. We shall all be staying here until the all clear is given. And if I catch ANY of you trying to sneak away, you shall be pulling double night watch shifts for a week! Do I make myself perfectly clear?>

-Swamp and Creek nod while River hangs her head sadly.-

River: <...Yes>

Oh, here he is. Hey, Ta-

-Me and my Pokémon notice Tagg looking distressed.-

Tagg? Are you alright?

-The sound of a siren in the base wakes me up-

-I dash down the hall to the Control Room- What's going on?

Steven: Hoenn is being invaded. I would estimate that there are forces about half an hour away from Mossdeep.

What?! How-

Steven: I don't know, and it doesn't matter. What does matter is keeping this base hidden.

-Blue enters the room as well-

Steven: Remember, no witnesses, no prisoners.

Blue: -rolls eyes- Very dramatic, but we're not straight-up killing that many Pokemon, Steven. We do this the way we've always operated. By stealth, and fear tactics. We divert as many of them as we can before they reach here. The rest...well, they won't be as lucky.

So, what do you think the Resistance will do next?

Goggles: <Hmm... Paper and pen? Let me go check in the supplies...>

- Goggles begins searching through the supplies, finding among other things, the remains of a broken Z.Z flyer, a folding chair, a berserk gene, a bicycle pump, some out-of-date TMs, the Holy Grail, a trombone and a doorknob, before finally finding a pen and some paper -

Goggles: <Ah, there we go!>

-deciding to stay in my room at the sound of the siren rather than run around and get in the way of people that know what they're doing, I sit cross-legged on my bunk and gently stroke an alarmed Dana, speaking soothingly-

I don't know. I guess just keep hiding?

-Sunny and Shadow walk over-

Sunny: <Good morning, you two lovebirds.>

Shadow: <Have you heard what's going on?>

...?

No, I haven't...

Torchic: -To Victini- <What's going on, the others just told me to go play while they all talked inside the big cave. Thresher didn't know anything either.>

Victini: <I don't know Torchic.>

Torchic: <I wish they'd stop coddling us.>

-Notices me looking distressed-

Victini: <What's with Tagg? He looks like he's seen a ghost.>

Helios: -Flits over- <Pay attention, and you'll find out.>

-Tells Luke about what happened-

Torchic: <That sounds bad.>

-Scribbles a note on the paper, folds it, and lays it on the bed. I then write "Fool" on it-

Okay, thanks. Goggles, I think I will leave this place soon. I just need to find Star. Thanks for all the help. Please don't tell the nurses I'm leaving until after I'm gone.

Shadow: <Messenger Murkrow came today telling us that high command have sent their top generals to invade Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn.>

Sunny: <Reshiram and Zekrom left this morning to help them.>

-goes to Crewe's room after the meeting-

Are you okay? He could've just knocked on our doors, but no, Steven had to turn on the friggin' siren.

Goggles: (nods) <Got it! And good luck searching for DS and whatever else you plan on doing!> (grins)
