Unite: <I don't think that's going to be enough, though. We'll need a few Zoroark at least for each city in Unova.>

Well, Luke and I have a bunch of Zoroark that we captured, and perhaps we could convince some of the people from the image/b/oards to donate theirs.

Near Goldenrod, Present Time

-Together with Maekrite and Pokéteco I reach rt. 35 towards Goldenrod-

Pokéteco (twisting head) — <So, many things have happened...> — looks down at Maekrite — <Looks like you decided to finally catch a Nidoran?>

Maekrite — <The colony decided I was to go with him, Owl.>

Pokéteco (hoots) — <As you say...> — turns again to look forwards — <Anyway, from the interns I heard something about a lot of activity going on at [REDACTED].>

Maekrite — <Hope this doesn't mean problems... again.>

-Some time later the candidates are returned to the circle, where they stand somewhat shaken and battered. Most of them are bleeding from one ear or scratching their paws and legs. Maekrite looks a bit annoyed, but otherwise only flickers his ear a bit-

— ...Is that normal?

Nidorina — <Oh yes... it usually lets us tell who will be the fun ones...> — giggles.

-She looks at me slyly-

-Vinollo steps forwards to the group-

Maestro Vinollo — <What you have experienced now is how you will always feel, every day, at every moment, if you decide to push forwards and not be careful.> — lifts a paw to exhibit his armor — <So if you are not ready to commit yourselves to the Colony, you can back out, now. No one here will think ill of you, we don't bring worthless Nidoran here.>

-I frown at the demeaning tone but decide to let it pass as part of the mood and stature required for the initiation ceremony; the peaceful and approving gestures from the audience seem to confirm this-

-The Nidos look at each other worried, thinking of what to do-

-Of the group of six base morphs and four adult morphs, four and one back away, bow to the armored leaders, then turn to bow to the audience and return to sit in random spots, some of them sulking or otherwise feeling disappointed by themselves...-

Maestro Vinollo — <I see then... the five of you.> — motions to the guards to round up the candidates still remaining — <You have accepted this challenge. Now say, what do you expect from your lives ffrom now?>

-The five candidates respond in unison-

Maestro Rize (steps forward) — <Now, the Servitore shall walk away with their respective guards, whom they will serve and assist as part of their new rank. For your first mission, kits, you shall assist in the preparation of the challenges that still await the adults.>

-The guides move the two Nidoran♀ away and they discuss some things, to go then fetching some berries contributed by the audience-

Vinollo — <As for you three, you will now be tested to the full extent of your abilities to determine your fates, even beyond what has already been established...> — stares down at Maekrite, then turns his head — <Step forwards, the judges and executioners from our brethren lands!>

-From the shadows of a nearby cave, three Johto Pokémon from the surrounding cities and routes walk in, showing themselves ready for battle-

— ...I'm not liking this.

<Claydol: "If you're looking for Zoroark, you should probably inform your allies to search for some around Nimbasa's surroundings...">

<Teala: "Yeah, I thought that Nimbasa was taken...">

<Claydol: "It was, but apparently a number of the goons there deserted when their rebel laid siege to the city.">

<Guy: "... Why would they do that?">

<Claydol: "They were apparently ordered to stand their ground and fight to the last of them... And they didn't receive any assistance...">

<Nadia: "What.">

<Nathan: "How on earth did they ever get that tactic approved?">

<Mike: "Suddenly, I'm not so surprised that they couldn't take a tower after 6 months...">

<Claydol: "We captured a group of them fleeing earlier this week, a couple of them are Zoroark... The others wouldn't be able to help you with your plans for the cities, but they would likely be more valuable to you as potential allies than they would if we carried out their sentence... If the queen approves, of course...">

<Vlad: "What was that?">

<Claydol: "They were to be expelled from the realm without supplies. Were they to head for Route 4, they would be killed by their counterparts, were they to flee elsewhere, they would in all likelihood be claimed by the desert...">

-To Celestia and Unite-

"... What do you two say?"

-The two mons look at each other.-

Celestia: <...It would be cruel to just let them die.>

Unite: <And they would be probably be more willing to help us.>

-The two give each other a nod.-

Celestia: <Fine then. I shall send some of my Pokémon to bring them in so that we can request their assistance.>

Unite: <Awesome. It's all coming together...>

Hey. How's your takedown of the Hoenn Gym Leaders going?

Um...We're not actually in Hoenn anymore, Gamer. We've gone to Unova to help the Resistance.

I've taken down most of the impostor Leaders here. They're at the Entralink, being interrogated.

-About 20 minutes later, a large party consisting of Dark-Type Pokemon is dragged before the Celestia and the group by several dozen leering guards... In various emotional states-

<Guarding!Scrafty: "We had to put up with an escape attempt by some of them earlier when we unbound them...">

<Captured!Zoroark #1: "Hmph, did you miserable desert hicks decide that leaving us to die under the sun would take too long?">

Celestia: <My fellow Pokémon. You were abandoned by your superiors and left to fight a battle that you had no chance of winning. Even though some of you may have committed some questionable acts in the past, it is my believe that nomon should be treated the way you have been.

So, I am offering you chance to redeem yourselves. If you help us convince the forces of both Napoleon and Scolipede and Liepard that this region is still inhabited even after it has been safely evacuated, we assure you that once the war is over, and Unova is safe once more, that you will be regain your freedom along with everyone else.

Please, I do hope that you accept our offer. Enough Pokémon have died already in this war. I would not want you to perish as well.

You actually did a pretty good job with the kids. They liked your act a lot. But as friendly advice, you may want to focus your act better... The magic tricks were, frankly astounding. - The Audino looks over at Anom, noticing that he has not yet let any of his Pokemon out of their pokeballs. She figures that he might be nervous about seeing them again after being locked away for so long, or that he is simply just too tired to actually speak to them right now -

- Either way, she decides to just give him some time alone for now, while checking up on some other things, leaving the six pokeballs near him -

- Meanwhile, in another part of the Entralink -

Zoroark: (the one that was formelly impersonating Elesa) <... I am so bored.>

Chatot: (in Elesa's voice) We haven't really done much apart from minor chores since "joining" the Resistance, have we?

Zoroark: <Meh, I'm sure we'll get to do something else soon.>

Unite: <Yeah, it's true! Look...Reshiram? Could you come here for a second, please?>

-Reshiram flies over.-

Reshiram: Hello there.

Unite: <It won't be for long, anyway. At the rate we're going, well have defeated Liepard, Scolipede and Napoleon in a few weeks time.>

Reshiram: Providing that all goes according to plan.

Celestia: <So, would you be willing to help them?>

-The group of captured Pokemon bow reverently before Reshiram after her appearance-
