-The two "Nidoran" are added to the troop and they all march down the street, with Palliko heading-

Palliko (looks back to the group) — <Come on guys, let's make this amusing. Someone sing a song, tell a story or something...>

Random Nidoran — <Oh! I have one!>

Second Nidoran — <...Not the same as last time about the guy with the lousy Raticate, right?>

Random Nidoran — <Nope. This one Dad told me from the days he was with a Trainer...>

-The Nidoran starts telling to the others a story about how the Dad and his Trainer spent a week lost in some icy caves in Kanto, ocasionally listening to some weird songs and chirps the procedence of they were never able to pinpoint...-

In the Tunnels

-Satine heads down into the Mega tunnel-

{Satine}: {...You sound like the rest of Sol's Pokemon when they journeyed down this tunnel...distrustful...}

-Satine floats over to the split in the Tunnel-

{Satine}: {...Take the Left Tunnel...It'll lead you to the Entralink Resistance Base...}

At The Bridge

<Napoleon>: <You know what? Fuck this shit. MONS!>

-Napoleons army looks at him-

<Napoleon>: <WERE WALKING AROUND!>

<Stitch>: <But sir, the bridge is surrounded by->

<Napoleon>: <AROUND!>

-Napoleon starts to walk around (???) the bridge-

Scary. Well, not really. Can you just give me a metal cup to clink against the walls already?

Seismitoad: <They don't clink. Not without bars. The stone walls don't clink much. And I hate clinking anyway, so no.>

-as the story wraps up, the new "Nidoran" are asked for any tales of their own-

<Well, one time we snuck into this human place called a "lab">

"Nidoran♂": <Yeah! 'cause we were looking for a boat to get to the Orange Islands to live the rest of our days in peace, quiet, and sun!>

Unamused "Nidoran♂": <...yes. We ran into some trouble, though...>

"Nidoran♂": <There was this scary voice that came from nowhere! It told us we were clearly not suitable material for testing, but there was no schedule for "calibrating turrets", whatever that meant. So we sat there for hours. Then the voice from nowhere exploded!>

Shadow: <The same to you.>

Wait a moment. Sol's goons cleared out this tunnel too?

Felis: <Or they were attempting to hide from Napoleon. Much like we are trying to do now.>

Hmm...we'll see when we reach there. I never would have guessed the Entralink would be their base now.

-Felis and Mezzo walk down the left tunnel-

So...-turns to Sunny- Do you understand what happened? It had something to do with Cyrus I assume, but that's all I know.

Seismitoad: <Okay, let's make a deal. I know you have a ton of gear, and don't want to be stripped of it because you intend to escape. I'll let you keep all that stuff tonight. If you truly are able to get out of your cell, I'll let you go free! But I know you won't, so tomorrow I'll be taking your stuff after you've seen how futile it is. Buh huh huh.>

Palliko (turns to the group) — <Dunno what they are, kits, but I guess they are, well... islands. We'll ask one of the explorers once we get to the square. We are still like three streets away. March... On!>

Sunny: <All I remember is this loud shriek and then the next thing I knew I was in Nimbasa City.>

Shadow: <I heard that too. What would Cyrus have to do with it?>

Sunny: <Well, Mezzo and her friends thought that maybe Cyrus had escaped the—Eeeeep!>

-Sunny's eyes widen as he sees Mezzo and Felis emerge from the tunnel-

Sunny: <Hide! Quick!>

Unamused "Nidoran♂": <No, we did not see the voice. We just took advantage of the confusion to sneak onto a boat that was carrying a bunch of other Nidoran here, with nothing else happening in between.>

"Nidoran♂": <Wait, you forgot something!>

Unamused "Nidoran♂": Don't be an idiot, don't be an idiot, don't be an idiot...

"Nidoran♂": <Where we disguised ourselves as humans to sneak around, and one of them asked us to deliver a doohicky!>

Unamused "Nidoran♂": -resumes banging head against curb-

-Sunny and Shadow both poke their heads out from behind Every-

Palliko — <Disguised?> — looks back interested.

Nidoran — <Disguising is funny! We did it last time for the Gym...>

Other Nidoran — <Ah yes! And that weird box wouldn't stop saying stuff...>

-The Nido troop arrives at a square, where a couple of Nidorina peek out from the trees near a pond-

Palliko — <OK, mons, go drink some water and the girls will have the berries soon.> — turns to the "Nidos" — <And you two stay close for them to check you.>

-A Nidorina approaches-

Nidorina — <About five minutes late, Palliko; the first exploration group has already left.> — looks back at the "Nidos" — <And who are those?>

-The other nidos go drink some water while the "Nidos" are held close-

Palliko — <Found them wandering near the bike shop... they seem to be lost by a visiting couple from Unova...> — leans closer — <Could you check them? They look kinda like sick and speak weird stuff...>

-The Nidorina nods and "suggests" the Nidos to move in to where another Nidorina is watching-

It's not that long. Only 13 billion years of change. Give or take a little.

None of this makes any sense at all.

Yeah, not surprised. I only regained my memories of the original timeline recently after all.

Sunny: <You'll understand when your memories come back.>

Shadow: <Well, sort of.>
