Me: Oh! Right! We've got things to do. -Checks the sky- However... I think it might be a bit too late to be heading into a horde of dragons unannounced... -Starts setting up camp for the night-

-Finally, after hours of dreamless sleep, Woolly regained consciousness.

But she was beginning to wish that she hadn't. She had an awful taste in her mouth, felt slightly ill, and had a terrible pain in her stomach.

Groaning, the Ampharos opened her eyes to find that she was in...A forest?

Curious, Woolly tried to sit up and get a better look of what was going on, only to have the pain in her stomach act up as she tried to move.-

Woolly: <BAAAAAA! OW! Ow, ow, ow...>

???: <Whoa! Easy...>

-A leafy hand gently pushes Woolly back into a prone position. The Ampharos looks and sees that the hand belongs to a male Leavanny.-

Leavanny: <Try not to move so suddenly like that, you've suffered a very nasty injury to your stomach.>

Woolly: <Wh...What? How?>

Leavanny: <You were stabbed by a Beedrill, right here...>

-The Leavanny points to several bandages wrapped around Woolly's stomach.-

Leavanny: <Not only that, but you were badly poisoned as well. If you hadn't been carried back here by that Hydreigon...You probably wouldn't have made it.>

-What?! She had nearly died?

Just what had happened to her after she had been put to sleep? And where was everyone else?-

Woolly: <What about my friends? Are they alright?>

Leavanny: <Yes, they're fine. For the most part, at least. They've been very worried about you. Would you like me to let them know that you're awake?>

Woolly: <Yes, please.>

Leavanny: <Alright, you just hang on and I'll go and get them for you.>

-The Leavanny goes off to fetch the others, leaving Woolly alone again in the woods.

Speaking of woods, where was she? How far had Hydreigon carried her? Oh, Hydreigon! She would have to thank her somehow the next time Woolly saw her...-

At Route 18

-Snowman giggles-

<Snowman>: <You still have squadrons and battalions deployed at Driftveil and Nimbasa~ Do you not~?>

I would like to write how AU!Fool regains her memory, but a) I'm suffering from Writers Block on how to go about it and b) It's too late for me to do that. So goodnight

Leavanny: <Excuse me, are you Woolly's party?>

-The Grovyle (And his Scolipede mount), Blaziken, Honchkrow and Lucario all turn to look at the Leavanny.-

Flare: <Yeah, that's us. Why?>

Leavanny: <Well, she's just woken up, and->

-The poor Bug type can't even finish his sentence as the group pf Pokémon stampede past him into the Entralink Forest.-

Everybody: <WOOLLY!!!>

Wulfric: <You're okay! Thank goodness, we were up all night worrying about you.>

Harriet: <You gave us all a good scare! For a moment, we all thought you weren't going to make it...>

Flare: <That awful Barb! When I see him, I'm going to roast him until he's extra crispy, and then feed him to some hungry bird Pokémon!> -Shakes her head.- <But I'm so glad you're okay, Woolly.>

Treeo: <We're all glad, Woolly.>

Scolipede: <Even me.>

Woolly: <Aww...Thank you, guys. And you, random Scolipede I've never seen before. I really appreciate that you were so worried about me. I just hope I didn't cause too much trouble.>

Wulfric: <No! You weren't any trouble at all, Woolly. We...Were just worried.>

Flare: <Really worried. But you're fine now, and that's all that matters.>

-Everyone nods.-

Woolly: <Great. So...What happened after Pollen used Sleep Powder on me? And where's Unite? Is he okay?>

-The group give each other awkward looks.-

Wulfric: <Um...>

Harriet: <Well...>

Treeo: <Uh...>

Scolipede: <Er...>

Flare: <Erm...>

Woolly: <...Guys? What happened? Is...Is Unite okay?>

Wulfric: <We...We don't know right now. You see...>

-The group tells Woolly the whole story. How Pollen and Barb had taken her hostage in exchange for the Light Stone, how Unite had given himself up instead, and how Barb had cruelly tried to kill her despite Unite giving himself up for her safety.-

Treeo: <...Afterwards, We got Tagg's Hydreigon to bring you here to the Entralink, where the medical staff was able to save your life.>

Wulfric: <As for Unite...We don't have a clue what's happened to him. But we can only assume the worst...>

Woolly: -Shocked- <...He...He gave himself up to save me...Even though he's the Hero of Truth...

...He...He really does love me...>

Harriet: <Was there really any doubt, Woolly? He gave himself, and any chance of reviving Reshiram, up just so that you could live. I'd say that's devotion, right there.>

Flare: <Yeah, but now he's only gone and given up our best chance of finally ending this war. Sure, it may have been nice, but it's kinda idiotic when you think about it.>

Woolly: <...We have to go and save him.>

-Woolly tries to get up, grunting in pain.-

Leavanny: <No! You can't! You're in no condition to fight right now!>

Wulfric: <Woolly, please! Get back into bed! You're going to hurt yourself!>

Woolly: <NO!>

-Woolly starts swinging her tail back and forth.-

'Woolly: <I a have to go and save him! I must!>

-Woolly shakes her tail must more vigorously.-

Woolly: <I MUST!>

-Woolly's tail bulb suddenly chimes like a bell!-

Wulfric: <Wha-?>

Flare: <What was that?!>

-Woolly shakes her tail again, her bulb chiming like a bell again.-

Harriet: <Is she making that noise?>

Treeo: <It sounds like it...>

-Woolly shakes her tail once more, her bulb chiming loudly, before she finally stops.-

Woolly: <Phew!>

-The Ampharos starts unwrapping the bandages around her stomach...-

Wulfric: <No, Woolly! You're not healed->

-...Only to reveal that her wound is now completely healed.-

Wulfric: <-Yet...>

Treeo: <How did she heal so fast?>

Leavanny: <...Heal Bell...>

Harriet: <Heal Bell?>

Leavanny: <Yes. It's a move that heals Status conditions. But it's very rare for an Ampharos to know it.>

-Woolly smirks.-

Woolly: <Well, I was never one to be conventional...>

- Somewhere... -

- Is having another dream, but this time it is not a particularly pleasent one... -

- The Spear Pillar, a few years ago -

- Cynthia quickly exits the portal to the Distortion world, carrying DS in her arms while HotStuff follows closely behind, the three of them returning to Spear Pillar -

- They look on in horror as the portal to the Distortion World continues growing larger -

- DS looks up, clearly worn out and seemingly ignoring the bleeding from a wound on her left cheek -

Cynthia... I don't understand... I thought you said that Cyrus was wrong... I thought you said that Giratina wouldn't destroy the world!

Cynthia: DS, I... I'm just as confused as you are! (looks up at the sky) ... We're not safe here, we have to go.

But... Cyrus got away... I have to go after him...

Cynthia: Not in your condition.

What do you mean? That on my face is just a scratch, it's nothing serious...

Cynthia: I admire your determination, but there is nothing we can do right now. Come on, we have to go.

- Wakes up from my dream, briefly touching a scar on my left cheek that I did not have in the original timeline -

Woolly: <Now...>

-Woolly takes her scarf from the end of her bed, glances at it briefly, then ties it around her head.-

Woolly: <...Does anyone have any clue where Unite is?>

Wulfric: <Well, Goggles and Chase sent some Pokémon to look for him yesterday, but we haven't heard anything from them, yet.>

Flare: <I don't understand, though. Surely Unite can break out of any prison easily, so why hasn't he done that by now?>

Treeo: <Well, he did see Woolly get stabbed by Barb before they took him away, so->

Woolly: <He must think I'm dead...>

-Woolly lowers her head, then clenches her fist angrily, her hand beginning to smoke.-

Woolly: <Those bugs...They did this to him!>

-The Ampharos fist catches fire.-

Woolly: <WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON THEM, I SWEAR...>

Leavanny: <Hey, hey! This is a forest, you know!>

Woolly: <...Oh.>

-Woolly extinguishes her fist.-

Woolly: <Sorry.> -Shakes her head.- <Come on, we're going to look for him.>

-Woolly begins to leave.-

Harriet: <Do you know where to look?>

Woolly: <...No. But I don't care. I'll search all of Unova to find him, if I have to.> -Looks back at the others.- <Are you all with me?>

-The group pauses, glancing at each other.-

Wulfric: <...I am.>

Flare: <...I am too, then.>

Harriet: <Me too, Woolly!>

Treeo: <I'll help you too, Woolly.>

Scolipede: <And me!>

Woolly: -Smiles.- <...Thanks, guys.>

Treeo: <Well, we should get going, then.>

-Treeo climbs onto Scolipede's back.-

Treeo: <Anyone else want a ride?>

Woolly: <Oh! I'll ride with you!>

Wulfric: <Me and Flare will, too. Right?>

Flare: -Nods.- <Sure.>

Harriet: <I'll fly alongside again, then.>

Treeo: <Alright, Harriet.>

-Woolly, Flare and Wulfric climb onto Scolipede's back.-

Treeo: <Alright, let's go boy! YAH!>

-Scolipede rears up, roaring loudly, then dashes out of the forest, Harriet flying behind them.-

Leavanny: <Be careful out there! And try not to run over anymon with that Scolipede.>

Not Driftveil, but there should still be some patrols left in Nimbasa.

Oh Arceus. What about Shadow? What about the lieutenants? Are any of them still alive?

Felis: <I think we'll be finding out soon.>

-in Driftveil City, Sunny and Shadow are still investigating the Cold Storage warehouses-

There are Vanillite everywhere...no tunnels, though. Maybe in the back?

Sunny: <Let's take a look.> -walks around to the back-

-follows, poking at random things and moving boxes to see if there might be a hidden tunnel behind them-

- Somewhere in Unova -

HotStuff: <... Figure it out yet, Sparq?>

Sparq: (still trying to figure out the X-transceiver) <I think I've got it...>

HotStuff: <Yes!>

Sparq: <... but I have no idea who we're supposed to call with this thing.>

HotStuff: (sighs)

Briar Rose: <Hey, cheer up, HotStuff. At least figuring how it works is a step forward!>

HotStuff: <Yeah! But at this rate, we'll never find those trainers that DS asked us to find!>

Silvermist: <... The situation seems pretty hopeless, doesn't it?>

Wings: <Sure does.>

Velvet: <But we can't give up! DS wouldn't have wanted that!>

Briar Rose: <... Why do you keep talking like that? We don't actually know if DS really is->

Wings: (interrupting) <Rose, there is no way DS could've survived that.>

Briar Rose: <Survived what? We never actually saw what happened to her! DS says that one can never be sure if anyone is dead unless the body is found!>

Velvet: <Rose, we admire your optimism, but... You can't stay in denial like this, it's not healthy.>

Briar Rose: <I'm not in denial!>

Velvet: <Rose...>

Briar Rose: (eyes starting to water) <Why won't any of you consider the possibility that DS might still be alive? How can you just give up on her like that!?>

Velvet: <Rose, I know it is hard to face the truth, but->

Briar Rose: <Because it is not the truth! DS is not dead!>

- Briar Rose runs off -

Shadow: <This is pointless. We've been here how long now? And we still haven't found anything.>

Of course it's pointless! There could literally be a tunnel at any point in Unova! The chances of one being in the place we're looking on the first try are pretty much nil!

But if we want to find the Resistance, we don't have much other choice.

It's not like we can just tap our feet together and wish really hard to get to the Entralink.

Sunny: <Maybe we should try looking somewhere else.>

- Briar Rose sits curled up under a tree by herself, crying -

Briar Rose: (wiping away some tears with her arm) <DS... I don't care what the others think... I know you're still alive.> (sniff) <I know you're still out there somewhere, and that you're trying to find a way to get back to us...> (sniff) <But... the others won't believe me. They just think that I'm in denial, but I'm not!> (sniff) <DS... Where are you?>

So, that was at least half of this region. I probably lasted longer than most people do before they kill you For the Evulz.

Hmm, maybe they've forgotten about me...

-sends out Weavile-

They probably won't remember that incident in Black City by now, so you're probably safe to be outside.

Weavile: Great! I was getting so tired in there!

Bet you were. Anyway, we're on Route 7. Far enough away from those crazy patrol bases we passed.

-they walk on until Weavile stops-

Weavile: I think I just heard something behind us.

-looks around to see that no one is in plain sight-

Probably nothing.

Not sure what is happening on the chat server right now. Going to go do some other things for half an hour or so; if it's not behaving when I'm done I may need to reboot it. Would prefer not to, of course....

-The hydrofoil stops in Goldenrod City's port-

-Absconds with the Nidorans and some of the hydrofoil supplies and heads towards Rt.35...-
