- The only ones not sleeptalking are Ribbons and Crush, who both seem oddly quiet -

Flare: <Right, so let me get this straight, these tunnels allow you to travel through time?>

Lake: <Yeah.>

Flare: <...How?>

Woolly: -Is lighting the way with her tail.- <I know! Dialga's Toothbrush!>

Flare: -Stares blankly.-

Harriet: <What?>

Woolly: <Dialga gave this tribe his toothbrush, which has time warping powers! It's what allows these cave to connect to different points in history!>

-Everyone blinks, then looks to Lake for confirmation.-

Lake: -Nods.- <It's true.>

Treeo: <Whoa.>

Unite: <Um...I'm not sure I like this. Woolly?>

Woolly: <Hmm?>

Unite: <Can I go and wait outside for you guys?>

Woolly: <Oh...Okay, if you want to.>

Unite: <Thanks Woolly. I'll be there when you come out, 'kay?>

Woolly: <Okay!>

Lake: <See you then, Unite.>

Unite: <Yeah, see you guys later.>

-Unite flies off back the way the group came.-

Diesel: <Some sort of attack that the Suefisk used. If I had to guess, I'd say it was a Dark Pulse or something. Althoug the projected thoughts weren't so much malicious as incomprehensible...>

Oh. -gets up- Last night was possibly the weirdest thing ever. Including all the legendaries I've seen traveling with these guys.

Diesel: <Yeah.>

- Velvet wakes up, and immedietly goes over to wake me up -

Velvet: <DS?>

Velvet: <DS, sorry to disturb you, but it is morning. Time to get up.>

- Opens my eye slightly -

-Fool's parents glance at eachother, before looking back to their daughter-

Fool's Mother: We were in Unova... Your father wanted to study the simian branch of Pokemon that were native to the region...

Fool's Father: We had finished observing the Simisage and Simisear lines... So we moved onto the Simipour line and ended up staying in Pinwheel... Longer than expected..

Fool's Mother: The Simipour line seemed a little more curious and less violent then their close reletives and they became rather acquired to our presence... Your father was even able to teach some of the Simipour sign language...

Fool's Father: On the last day I was to be studying the Simipour line... We we're attacked...

By what?

Fool's Mother: By a monsterous creature.

What...?

Fool's Father: Did you ever hear... Stories growing up about a murderous, signing demon that was killed by two people, but died in the process?

Yes...

Fool's Mother: We were those people...

-Fool is in a state of shock-

-disoriented, half-rememberings of my dream trying to escape my head while I desperately try to hold on to them-

-looks in DS' eyes and kisses her- I love you.

Fool's Mother: On that day we heard that creature's dreadful voice, we knew something was terribly wrong...

Fool's Father: I was able to get my Exploud to seek out the creature... And It noticed us, yearning for blood. I decided to fight it off by myself, telling your mother to keep both of you safe as I was confident in my abilities as a Trainer to be able to fend off the creature... I was wrong...

Fool's Mother: I couldn't strand your father out there by himself, so I hid you in the bushes nearby the Simupour's pond and went back to fight alongside him...

-Fool's mother inhales-

Fool's Mother: It broke my heart to leave you there.. But I had to...

Fool's Father: We killed the creature with a finishing blow from your Mother's Charizard, Freya. But not long after, we succumbed to the same fate that everyone else who heard the beast's songs did... We killed ourselves in a fit of madness...

-Fool's father sighs-

Fool's Father: And that's... How we perished... Not long after, you were found by the same tribe we befriended and they took you in as their own... Acting as parents in our place...

-Fool is on the verge of tears as she hug both of her parents again. Fool's Mother strokes Fool's hair-

Fool's Mother: Sol, Don't think for a second that we abandoned you... We loved you to the bottom of our hearts. But unreasonable times make reasonable people do unthinkable things... And in this case it saved your life.

-Fool wipes the tears from Her face-

Fool's Father: And even when you can't see us, we will always be there for you. In here.

-Fool's father points to her heart-

-sniff- I guess that leaves one last question before I go...

Fool's Mother: And what would that be dear?

What does it feel like when you die?

Fool's Mother: -Smiles- It's quicker than falling asleep,

-Fool hugs her parents for the last time before her pendant starts glowing again-

Fool's Mother: It's time for you to return to the world of the living.

Fool's Father: But don't forget,

Both: We will always love you Sol.

-A shining white light evelops both herself and Tagg, her parent's beconing faint shilouettes in the background before fading entirely-

-Has returned to the world of the living, but is speechless-

I had the strangest dream last night...
