-His skin begins to bubble and melt-

Most definitely, considering what the Old Man is about to become

-The amorphous Old Man begins growing in size, and sprouts dozens of long tentacles-

-It is now a 15-foot tall Tentacruel, but still has the Old Man's face-

Tentaman:    I LOVE THIS CRUEL! IT'S TENTA FEMALECRUEL!   

I have a sudden feeling of dread.

Lake: <...Why?>

Lake: <It's probably nothing, don't worry about it.>

Well...Okay. Let's get back to the others.

-Everybody except me and Flannery panic and rush indoors-

Flannery: Uhh... WHAT IS THAT!?!?

Tourist: What's wrong?

Me: I feel a disturbance in the force. Like a thousand female trainers cried out at once and then were silenced...

Game Freak Employee: Sorry, last night was chilli night.

-Her Absol jumps out of her pokeball and starts running around in circles-

Absol: <JANE YOU HAVE TO GET BACK TO LAVARIDGE TOWN SOMETHING REALLY WEIRD IS GOING ON THERE AND IT'S BEING ATTACKED BY A GIANT MONSTER WE HAVE TO WARN THEM WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!>

C-calm down Absol! Calm down!

Hmm... I was just going to deal with this in a The Greatest Story Never Told kinda way... But if you really want to help I guess you can.

-The Tentaman stands up on its tentacles-

Tentaman:    TENTATOWN!   

Flannery: Wait... did it become a Tentacruel for the reasons I think it did...? AUGH! Wait, I'll be back! I promise!

-She runs into her gym-

-Sends out Scizor and Masquerain-

Scizor: <Whoa, man, why'd you send me out in such a hur- AAAH!>

-The two slow Fire-types look at the huge Water type, and then glance back at Flannery-

Um, I'm kinda busy trying to get rid of this Tentacruel. -punches one in the face-

I don't see why this would aggrevate other Tentacruel, though.

Rule of Cool I guess. Besides, it helps to have something to do other than basic filler.

-He wrestles with a tentacle to try and cut it-

-Sitting on the beach-

Where the heck did everyone go?

Nudi: <Something about a Tentacruel man back in Lavaridge.>

They can handle it themselves.

Trapinch: <Aw man you ruined it!>

Zoroark: <Ruined what?>

Trapinch: <I wanted to see the action! You know!>

Zoroark: <....You sicken me a lot trapinch. When this is over I shall shove a ryhorns drill down my ear to forgot you said that.>

Trapinch: <Geez chill out for once.>

-I glance up as I see a bunch of Tentacruel rise out of the water, then see Electivire hitting them with Thunderbolt and go back to my book-

-Tentaman easily defeats Magcargo, but Torkoal has Amnesia'd itself to untouchable levels-

Flannery: Torkoal! Overheat!

-Torkoal does so, damaging Tentaman-

-Scizor successfully slices off a tentacle-

Tentaman:    ROOOOOAAAARRR! I! LOVE! THIS! GYM!   

-It begins flailing its remaining tentacles around, hitting whatever it can-

-Kratos is attempting to get a tan. Because he is a ghost, the rays of the sun just pass through him, and he keeps phasing through the chair.
