Slouch, Chase already knocked out Numbskull, that is why Marina was sent out to take over.
So far, I've knocked out Wally and Numbskull, while you have managed to knock out Goggles and HotStuff.
Whoops, haven't been keeping track. Sorry.
Durr, me am so stupeed.
- Chase is hit again, this time knocking him out -
Chase, return!
- I recall Chase before he hits the ground -
(thinking) Okay, I have three Pokémon left... I can still do this.
Go, Crush!
- A special effect of blue bubbles accompanies the Carracosta's appearance -
Use Ice Beam!
- Crush fires an icy cold beam at Marina -
-Marina quickly noms her Yache berry, lowering the damage done but still taking her down to the red and making her lose her energy to fly-
-Releases Marina and reaches for Egbert's ball, but remembers his low Sp. Defense and Ice weakness-
<Thinking> Crap. I didn't think this through very well, did I?
...
-Releases Egbert-
It's worth a try.
Egbert, you know what to do.
-Egbert's three heads nod and he uses Energy Ball-
Crush, use Protect!
- Crush generates a force field around himself, protecting him from the attack -
Crush, return!
- Recalls Crush -
Velvet, take over!
- Sends out Velvet, a special effect of pink hearts surrounding the Espeon's body as she assumes her position -
Use Signal Beam!
- The orb on Velvet's head glows, and then she fires a beam at Egbert -
Oh, come on! This whole shielding thing is getting really old!
-Egbert noms his Tanga berry to help soften the blow-
I wouldn't recommend attacking it, Egbert. Just try a Sleep Powder.
-Egbert tries to put Velvet to sleep using... powder-

- Velvet falls asleep... only for her Lum Berry to wake her up again -
Signal Beam again!
- Velvet fires another Signal Beam at Egbert -
-Groans- Of all the rotten luck...
-Egbert is brought to the red and tries another Sleep Powder-
Egbert, careful!

- Velvet holds her breath so that the sleep powder won't affect her again -
Let's finish it off with Swift!
- Velvet fires star shaped rays at Egbert -
-Egbert topples over-
-Returns him- Good try, Egbert. Maybe next time.
<Thinking> ARGLEBLARGLEGODDAMNITTHATNEVERWORKSGRRR-
-Recalls him and thinks about who to send out next-
-Sends out Riptide, who lunges at Velvet and uses Crunch-
edited 2nd Jul '11 2:36:52 AM by Slouch
- Velvet takes a fair amount of damage from the attack -
(thinking) Should I switch her out? Hmm... Well, his other two remaining Pokémon have already been weakened, so... Meh, I'll be fine.
Velvet, use Psychic!
- The orb on Velvet's head starts glowing, as does her eyes as she fires a blast of psychic energy at Riptide -
-Riptide takes a moderate amount of damage and slides back a bit, before lunging at Velvet again and chomping down-
-Riptide's Leftovers heal him slightly-
Whoops... completely forgot he had those.

- Velvet's health is brought down to the red -
Use Psychic again!
- Velvet fires another psychic blast at Riptide -
-Riptide takes the hit, growls, heals a little, and crunches Velvet a third time-

- Velvet is knocked out -
Velvet, return!
- Recalls Velvet -
Briar Rose, it's your turn again!
- Sends Briar Rose back out, the special effect of pink flower petals accompanying her appearance once again -
Use Energy ball!
- Briar Rose fires an energy ball at Riptide -
-Riptide ducks, then grabs Briar Rose and aims an Ice Punch at her face-

Briar Rose: <Ow! That's cold!>
- Briar Rose's black sludge restores a small amount of her health -
Rose, use Energy Ball!
- Briar Rose fires another energy ball at Riptide -
Riptide: -before the Energy Ball- POW, right in the kisser! Heh heh.
...Wait, what the-
-Gets knocked aside by Briar Rose's attack, only hanging on because of his Leftovers (Which then heal him a little more)-
-Returns Riptide- Great job, buddy...
-Sends out Vesuvius, who has already been weakened-
Just watch out for that Water Sport this time, Vess.
-Vesuvius breathes fire at Briar, because rhymes are awesome-

- Briar Rose quickly soaks herself in water again, but even with Water Sport in effect, the fire attack brings her down to the red -
Use Sludge Bomb!
- Briar Rose fires a purple blob of sludge at Vesuvius -
-Vesuvius gets hit, hangs on, gets poisoned, uses Flamethrower, faints due to the Poison. Nothing else to add.
Sssshhhhhoot. Nice work, Vess. Come back.
-Returns her-

- Briar Rose is knocked out by the second Flamethrower attack, and I recall her -
(thinking) ... Okay... Now I only have one Pokémon left, but I can still do this.
<Also thinking> Alright, so I have one more Pokemon left than DS. But on the other hand, they're both injured.
...Can I pull this off?
-Sends out Marina-

It's up to you now, go Crush!
- I send Crush back onto the field -
Use Ice Beam!
- Crush wastes no time, and immedietly fires an Ice Beam at Marina -
Chase, use Detect!
- Chase attempts to put up another shield, only for the paralysis to prevent him from doing so, causing him to take another hit -
Oh, this isn't good... Try using Aerial Ace!
- Chase tries to shake off the effects of the paralysis, and manages to build up some speed for his attack as he prepares to strike -
