Latias: (nods) Yeah. She and Susan are sitting in the stands somewhere.

I see. Well, I'm just going to head down to the Pokémon center to heal my Pokémon, and then I'll be right back.

Latias: Okay!

- I walk off to heal my Pokémon at the Pokémon center, while Latias goes over to where her sister is -

There's no battles scheduled, so what do we do now?

Throh: <I don't know.>

- Walks down to the Pokémon center, heals my Pokémon and then I start heading back over to the tournament building -

I'd go get that Plume Fossil of Fool's revived, but she's probably still sleeping.

-Sighs-

- Returns to the tournament building and goes to find the others -

-Has pulled out his DS Lite and is busy playing it in the lobby-

Ad Min: Again sir, I have not received any e-mails from the tournament organisers, whoever they may be.

Really? Nothing at all?

Ad Min: Oh, believe me sir. I check many times to see if it was due to a problem on my end. I've tried everything from switching my wireless connection on and off, to running a full internet diagnostic to scanning and connecting to very wireless network in the vicinity in hopes that something may have been preventing me from receiving e-mail for whatever reason. All to no avail.

Wow. That must have taken you for a while.

Ad Min: Actually, thanks to my incredible computational power, all of the above was executed in roughly 0000001.28 nanoseconds.

<Vlad: "No really, your form was actually really good for a beginner, and you were flying really even during both legs of your flight.">

<Milo: "So... When are you going to actually bother to try to learn how to handle a rider?">

<Nadia: "...">

<Vlad: "... Well it is pretty much the only thing that you haven't practiced, Nadia. And I did tell Teala that I would switch places after I was done teaching you...">

<Nadia: "... Does it have to be with a human rider?">

<Shaun: "Oh, Nadia...">

-Thinking-

"She's still bitter..."

"... It doesn't have to be with one, if you're not comfortable with it..."

<Milo: "So... You wanted me t-">

<Nadia: "NO.">

<Milo: "But you didn't le-">

<Nadia: "The answer is still 'NO'.">

<Lardna: "Well then who did you want to practice flying with a rider with?">

<Nadia: "Erm... How about Kat?">

<Kat: "... I don't mind, but aren't you going to need to eventually learn how to fly with a bigger rider?">

<Nadia: "... I need to start from somewhere, don't I?">

<Kat: "Fair enough. Just keep in mind that my kind's a bit more weighty than other Pokemon that are my size.">

<Nadia: "Okay.">

"Should we head in?"

<Nadia: "Yeah, hopefully we haven't missed much yet today.">

-Others murmur in agreement-

I'm not sure what you'd want to find there, but sure. I've got nothing better to do if there's not gonna be another match anytime soon.

-Jane walks out of the pokemon center, Portales proudly floating behind her. Astoundingly, instead of floating low like usual, he's about eye level with Jane now! ... Which isn't really saying much, since Jane is short, but that's still a pretty impressive boost in confidence!-

Glad to see you're not letting victory get to your head.

Portales: <Oh, but... you saw me! I beat almost every one of those pokemon! On my own! I mean, uh, right?>

Yeah, duh. I was there.

Portales: <I wonder what the others think of what I did...>

Well, I know Faithful's pretty impressed with you, and Gallade seems pretty proud.

Portales: <Oh, no! Not them! I was talking, uh, about... the others. Like, uh, Lake? The Feraligatr?>

Lake? Hmmm... I don't know. Maybe we should ask him when we see him?

Well, DS curb-stomped this really shady guy.

-Inches away from Milo's face-

<Nadia: " NO. ">

Hehe... Yeah. I had the type advantage during most of that battle.

-Speaking of Feraligatr, Lake is with my other Pokémon, who don't have much to do right now.-

Unite: <Man, how long is it until we get that e-mail? I'm itchin' for another fight!>

Flare: <So am I! I'm itching to give this next person a taste of FRIED CHICKEN!>

Sol: -Sigh- <You never cease with the whole "fried Chicken thing". You're going to run out of chicken jokes eventually, you know.>

Flare: <Says you.>

Lake: <Er, I doubt that it'll be much longer until we have our third match. I'm ready for it though!>
