Ready. Who's playing (or, to be more accurate, dictating the moves of) Red?

-After a day nonstop of preparation, Gamer is in the arena, waiting for his legendary opponent to arrive.

Yesterday

(Maekrite moves around some bushes, away from the spot where he hid the food; and once he is convinced he is far wnough, he starts intentionally making noise by stomping on some leaves to attract Dewott's attention)

I don't think I wrote it down anywhere except the original post...hold one, let me see here...

Cofagrigus, Mr. Mime, Cacturne, Chimecho, Victreebel, Weezing

-sitting in the stands, waiting for matches to start-

-Latias and Susan have found each other, and are now looking for either Pentigan, or Latias' sister-

Dewott: Aha! I've got you now! -fires a Water Gun at Maekrite's percieved location-

-Sends out Zecora-

Whenever you're ready...

-Looks at Gamer-

Looks like he's about ready to battle Red.

-Yesterday-

Really? That's a relief.

-Vanilluxe pops out of his Great Ball-

Vanilluxe: -Looks at the elders- <Do you guys like art too?>

Vanilluxe...

-The figure tips his hat and tosses a pokeball into the air-

-A Confagrius pops out after a few seconds-

-Meanwhile, I'm in the lobby still, looking at the screen-

HEY! He stole my outfit!

-Norman (Gamer's Dad) is sitting in the front-row stands. He appears to be having a very intense stare-off with Red's mother.-

I think my battle is up now...

(Yesterday)

Maekrite — <What the...>

(Having misjudged the Dewott's mobility, is pushed back by a stream of water)

Maekrite — <Ugh... now come! Let's get dirty!>

(Spreads legs and lowers ears, letting out a Leer)

Wolf, could you write for Wattson if you're not busy? Or anyone else who feels they can do it?

Anom: There's a reason Wolf doesn't battle much. It's because I'm bad at writing them. But if no one else offers, I'll do it.

I don't trust myself to write for Red. Could someone else please try their hand at it?

I could do Red (or Wattson) if needed. Red's dialogue just writes itself anyway.

So, is Red like, what, Pokéverse's MK Walker?

(I took a look at Maekrite)

(Maekrite revels in his sleep, his legs moving slightly)

You know how to write Red's dialogue? It's pretty difficult to get in character.

Please try, Mezzo. It will be appreciated. Of course, I'm almost guarenteed to lose, but I'm not going down easily.

Dewott: Stay, I said! -fires a Scald at Maekrite- I don't want to hurt you, but I will!

Oh, Red's dialogue is easy... it's the body language and stuff that can get hairy...

I'd actually want to do it myself, but I can't because I'd want to for the "wrong" reasons — namely having a golden excuse to make a Pikachu suffer...

I can write for Wattson if necessary. What's his team?
