Stratus: <You...You really want to help me?>

-Stratus looks overwhelmed, before suddenly grabbing hold of Jayna and hugging her.

Stratus: <THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHNAKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!!!>

Lake: <Um...I think you've made him rather happy.>

Jayna: (looking somewhat surprised for a moment as Stratus hugs her) <Uh... Hehe... No problem, buddy. I'm sure I can help you out with whatever your problem is.> (looks over at Lake) <Oh, hi there. What's your name?>

I guess I know what'll be on my birthday list next year.

-Decides to stay silent-

DAT CONTROLLER! DAT HD! Oh man, I need one of those Wii Us.

Lake: <I'm Lake! I'm Luke's Pokémon. I'm also one of Stratus' friends.>

Stratus: <Oh yeah! I haven't known Lake for very long, but he seems really cool. I think you might like him.>

Jayna: <Oh, I see. Nice to meet you, Lake.>

Lake: <It's nice to meet you too!>

-Stratus finally stops hugging Jayna.-

Stratus: <So, um...can you teach me how to fly properly now? It's very important that I get some help with it. If I can't fly, I can't battle, and if I can't battle...>

-Stratus shakes his head.-

Stratus: <Sorry, I shouldn't be weighing you down with my problems.>

Oh, hang on Stratus, before we start your training...

-I turn around and whistle loudly. A seconds later, the Oblivia beasts seemingly drop out of the sky (When in actuality they jumped over to us.)-

Raikou: <Nya! did someone call for us?>

Entei: <DOES SOMEONE NEED THEIR BUTT KICKING? OR WOULD YOU PREFER IF ENTEI BAKED SOME DELICIOUS CAKE FOR EVERYONE?>

Suicune: <Actually guys, I think he only needs me right now.>

-Raikou and Entei look disappointed.-

Raikou: <Oh, nyaaaa...>

Entei: <NO CAKE THEN?>

Suicune: <Sorry Entei, no cake.>

Entei: <...ENTEI IS VERY DISAPPOINTED.>

Jayna: (glances over at the Oblivia beasts) <... Huh.> (shrugs) <So, where are you all from?>

Raikou: <Nya! We're from Oblivia!>

Entei: <IT IS OUR DUTY TO DEFEND THE REGION IN THE NAME OF OUR MASTER, THE ALMIGHTY HO-OH!!!>

Suicune: <Together, we...Are the Oblivia beasts!>

Raikou: <Nya! I'm Raikou!>

Entei: <I AM ENTEI!!!>

Suicune: <And I am Suicune. Nice to meet you.>

...Yeah, what those guys said. The beasts are some good friends of ours.

Stratus: <And they're all so cool! Wow...>

Lake: <You see, Suicune is going to help us train Stratus.>

Suicune: <That's right! So you're going to teach Stratus how to fly then?>

Jayna: <Oblivia, huh? That's pretty cool, I guess.>

Latias: (has been standing around in the background the whole time) I'm from Oblivia too!

Jayna: (looks over at Latias) <... And you are?>

Latias: (shows her true form) <I'm Latias!> (changes back into her human disguise)

Jayna: <... Okay.> (shrugs) <Well, I'm from Orre.>

Raikou: <Hey, did you know Latias was here?>

Entei: <ENTEI HAD NO CLUE!!!>

Suicune: <Orre, huh? Mmm. I remember our Johto counterparts were used by Cipher there as Shadow Pokémon. That wasn't pleasant for them at all. Thankfully they recovered from the whole thing okay, but we've always been a bit cautious around going there ourselves.>

Jayna: <Huh, really? Well, I've never actually seen much of my home region... When I was a Trapinch, I always wanted to go outside of the Pokéspot I lived in, and see the rest of the region. But my parents and my cowardly brother wouldn't let me, they just kept telling me that it wasn't safe to do so.> (sighs) <While they may have had a point, I still wanted to explore... I wanted to become stronger... One day, this guy who was on a business trip in Orre came to the Pokéspot where I lived, and I saw my chance to get out of there and fullfill my dream. However, things didn't go exactly the way I planned...>

Wii U? Dang it, I just got a Wii 2 days ago. No wonder the price was so low...

-Walks over to Luke-

Uh, Luke? Does your Dragonite still need flying lessons? I asked Marina before, but... She was kind of a jerk about it.

Earlier:
Marina: Look, if the fool doesn't know how to fly, that's his own problem!

Come on Marina, don't be like that! He was never taught to fly, that's not his fault!

Marina: So? It's not my fault, either.

...What?

-Marina flies off-

Hey, come back! I'm not done with you yet!

Jayna: (smirks) <Isn't it obvious? You see, while I wanted to see Orre, it turned out the guy who had caught me was planning on sending me as a present to his daughter, who had just won the Sinnoh League and received the National dex. And that is how I ended up with DS.> (smiles) <Not that I'm complaining, DS is pretty awesome. Thanks to her, I managed to become stronger, and even evolve, twice! And Sinnoh is pretty awesome as well... I still do dream of someday returning to Orre, and see everything just like I dreamt of when I was a Trapinch. I'm hoping DS will take me with her if she ever goes there someday.>

- I pat Jayna on the back -

Stratus: <Aww. I'm glad things worked out for you. At least your family cared about you...>

-The Dragonite hangs his head.-

Stratus: <My Dad kicked me out...>

Um, no it's okay Slouch. DS' Flygon is going to teach him. Thanks for offering though.

Stratus: -Smiles.- <Thanks...I still feel sad about it, but It hasn't been that bad being on my own. I've been to so many different places. Johto, Unova, Hoenn, even regions further away than that! I've seen Pokémon you can barely even imagine!>

Huh. Maybe Stratus will be helpful when we go to the next new region everyone starts talking about in a few years time.

Lake: <You never know.>

Stratus: <Still...I'd like to get better at battling. Just so maybe my father might let me go back home again.>

Okay, good luck with that Slouch.

I'll need it. She's stubborn, that Dragonite.

This really takes a lot of energy out of me, but so long as it doesn't bother my lord, it's fine.

Jayna: <Don't worry, buddy. I'm sure I can help.> (thinks for a moment) <Hmm... I wonder how my family is doing? I did sort of leave them without even saying good-bye...> (shrugs) <I guess I should go visit them if we ever head over to Orre and apologize for that.> (smirks) <And show them just how powerful I've become!> (snickers) <I was only a Trapinch back when I last saw them... I wonder what they will think if they see me now? Hehe... I bet the look on my brother's face would be priceless!>

Yeah, I'll remember to take you to see your family if we ever head over to Orre, but that isn't really what is important right now...

Jayna: <Oh, right! Right!>

Jayna: <Yeah, sure.>

- Jayna starts flapping her wings, producing a sound similar to a woman singing as she does so. She lifts off and slowly flies up into the air -

Jayna: <Okay, buddy. Let's see what you can do.>
