My transformation used to be day/night as well, but I was lucky enough to get my talons on an artifact that lets me choose which form now. Not everyone is as lucky, unfortunately.
I recommend perhaps checking the "Transforming Troubles" subforum to see if anyone else has your sort of condition?

Oh, no, those rumors are true. I remember my trainer talking about how he shouldn't use a scarf of his for fear he would be kidnapped. He showed me the source - which apparently came from a relative of the one responsible - so I have faith it's true.
But it is a terrible thing that will eventually be resolved. I know it; I have faith in my trainer.
