Alright, let's just use the regular battling tactic, focus down the boss. Then when it's weak enough, get in there with a candle and stick one of those triangle swords in it maybe!

The door is opened by a teal-haired woman who looks like she hasn't slept and is running on caffeine and Science!

Behind her is Siobhan currently trying to fix what is a not-terribly-recognizable device that appears to have just exploded.

There's also a couple of dents along the back wall.

Vi: "Yeah?"

-As the door's opened, Skye's eyes immediately go to Vi's arms, then Siobhan's.-

Diane: Hi! We heard something explode, so we figured we'd poke our heads in. Everything all right?

Skye: And would you happen to know where a girl named Scarlette is?

Siobhan: "Well I think we can say we faithfully replicated the Gauss Rifle. It even explodes when it overheats."

Vi: "... Great. Can you get it working again?"

Siobhan: "Give me a day of 3D-printing, and yeah. Or we can go grab the spare and actually put heat sinks on it."

Vi: "Right. Shelve that for a bit because we need to get actuators down." She turns back to Skyane. "Uh, yeah. Mostly. And nope. No idea who that is."

Diane: We've got some prosthetic stuff to hash out with her so we can build the darn thing.

Vi: "Vi. 'Sup." She turns around and walks over to the computer, staring at it for a moment. "Yes. Print the fucking leg... armature. Legature. Leg superstructure. Frame."

Vi: "Yeah, well, slightly-insane engineers fueled by coffee, spite, and in her case being incredibly gay or not we have standards and one of those is making prototypes to make sure it'll work and not just... fall over and kill someone."

Siobhan: "Vi don't call me out like this."

Siobhan looks at Eva. "Damn right they are."

Diane: Well, duh. One step at a time. The 90-ton one is a long-term goal.

Diane: Sometimes, it's not a matter of knowing why yet, other than "because we can". You only gotta come up with a purpose afterwards, and if it turns out that purpose is just to sit around and look awesome, then that's what you let it do.
