Kai: Wow. That's... quite a lot to deal with. My best friend, Diane, went through something... similar to what you went through, Silas. It wasn't quite the same, but I know how hard it was on her. Both times. I'm glad you're getting by after all that, at least.

Kai: And I can assure you, being out of touch with the J-Team is never something to fret too much about. I mean, I spent almost all of last year away from them, with only, like... one visit from Lina and Arika in the meantime. Lina's my six-centuries-immortal ancestor and Arika's one of her friends who's also technically really old, it's a long story they'd probably explain better. They're close. As long as you didn't do something dramatically contrary to everything the team stands for, we'll gladly welcome you back with open arms.

As the credits began to roll, Colt finally let the illusion drop.
“Those scrolling words mean that the movie has ended,” he explained, throat a little bit dry. “I’m gonna get some water; us humans can’t have sustenance on [Lemonade] and Prof. Bell alone,” he explained.
Sunny reached out from the backpack and grabbed the laptop in a psychic grip, bringing it to her hand.
Colt paused upon a plastic water bottle flying out of the backpack and landing in front of him. “Oh yeah,” he breathed before he chugged it all in one go. Rejuvenated, he turned to Yunwa and grabbed his phone.
“Any last questions I can record for ya and answer in the morning?” He asked as he started recording.
