“Er... right,” Colt stammered as he let his hand drop to his side. “It’s just kind of a custom for humans to grab the other’s hand and shake it - gently - when they reach an agreement, greet, or such matters,” he explained.

Roy walked over and whispered something to Colt.

“Like so,” Colt started as they stood a distance away and grabbed each other’s hand.

Within three seconds Roy was on the ground, clutching his shoulder, complaining about how his trainer’s right arm is way too strong for how normal it looked, and to Yunwa about typical handshakes not forcing either party to the ground.

“Anyhow, aside from food, what constitutes stuff about this world you find “interesting”?” Colt asked, slightly oblivious to Roy’s pain.

They take Colt's hand and shake vigorously.

Yunwa: "Uh... enjoyable stuff that doesn't take too much energy, probably."

Kaisei: -to Roy- "Uh, you?..."

“Yeah, don’t,” Colt chuckled as his hand was shook. “That’s called cannibalism - and it’s illegal. Do it, and you’ll be isolated from society in a facility that will house you and feed you, but it will do neither to a satisfactory level,” he said. “And you’ll be with a bunch of people who have also done a variety of terrible things, so there’s that.

“So, recreation. Okay,” Colt deduced. “Well, the obvious answer would be a Pokémon Battle, but that would kinda constitute you getting injured if you wanted to battle, and if you wanted to take on the role of a trainer, the way my ‘mons battle, you’d kinda just be... watching, if you instead wanted to delegate,” he observed. “And I doubt you’d know the names of moves, so that’s probably not an option.

“We have these things called “movies”, which are kinda hard to explain - stories through recorded interaction, that’s the best I can do - but also take a while to sit through, so there’s that. We have these wonders called “video games” which have you controlling a character on a screen with a hunk of plastic in your hand, but I imagine you would have a hard time getting interested in them. And there’s uh... music, which is just kinda sounds arranged in a rhythm you can listen to without getting disoriented. It’s better than it sounds.” he considered.

He then paused. Roy stood back up.

“Can’t come up with anything else?” He asked.

Colt silently nodded, tugging on his jacket in mild discomfort.

“And what about me?” Roy asked Kaisei. “I’ll be fine in a few minutes.”

Yunwa: "Hm... the ones that are mostly watching or listening sound like they could be interesting. And I can fight if needed, at least."

Kaisei: -to Roy- "If you're sure."

He then sees Julius and waves.

Silas shrugged and let them discuss, "Actually, since this thing is Space Worthy..."

~Silas nooooooooo...~

Silas stepped over to a locker and opened it, spare spacesuits of various sizes were in, "I can't exactly fly it but Bishop can, so... who wants to go to space and/or the moon?"

~Silas why?~

"Because I like Space and I got a craft capable of flying to the moon. Why not use it?"

~What about Megan?~

"Good point. I'll wait until she's available to show off all the cool stuff to her."

“Okay. I’ll just have to think of a good movie for you to get started on...” Colt considered.

Roy saw Julius looking at him and returned his gaze. He waved hello before removing his scarf and returning.

“Shall we go to the cargo hold?” He asked, starting to walk off in a direction he was confident the hold was in.

He didn’t leave Yunwa behind, instead walking slowly as he queued up music that would also be good for Yunwa to start on.

Down: <Hmm... As I was afraid, this story is starting to look awfully familiar>

Yunwa follows Colt to the cargo bay.

Kaisei: -to Silas- "I... don't think I'm ready for a space trip yet."

-to Julius- "Taguel?"

Julius: They're shapeshifters! They don't like civilization much, though.

Bathory: <This world has it's own shapeshifters silly! And illusionists like me!>

-Disguises self as a Mareanie-

Jean: Right... I still have to tell most people where I came from...

"That's fair, I kinda want to be the pilot on the journey to the moon honestly. However it's a two handed job and I'm gonna need a hand for that."

Silas smirked a bit and chuckled, before looking at Jean, "Something wrong Jean?"

Oblivion Wing Cargo Hold

Colt reached into his laptop bag and drew his laptop, opening it up and loading a movie from somewhere. The screen was way too small for everyone, Colt realized.

Every single ‘mon Colt had materialized while their trainer set up the movie. “If you want to try out music while you wait for me to get started, I have some queued up for you,” he told Yunwa, when she entered. “I think it’d be a good start for a first listen. Don’t eat them, drape them over your head so the comfy parts are on your ears.”

If they put them on, a tune with some gentle guitar chords would start up.

-to Julius- "So... shapeshifters, huh? I dunno if I've heard them by that name before."

They listen to the music, listening to Colt's advice and putting the buds in their ears after listening for a bit.

Yunwa: "Hmm... sounds pretty calming."

Julius: What do they call them in this world then? I've seen quite a few and even tried the magic myself.

-He takes out his ring and puts it on-

Jean: -to Silas- Oh, uh, just... Well, not everyone knows about my past, Captain, and I've been struggling to explain to certain people in particular.

Silas gave Jean a soft look (or at least what was possible for him) and said, "Hey if you need any help explaining, I'd be glad to. Best term now, you're a faller from another world, more advanced than ours for certain."

Kaisei scratches his head.

Kaisei: "Mm... well, I don't know if there's a good name for people who shift in general, but for people who've got something with their biology, 'weremon' usually works."

Cargo Hold - Oblivion Wing

Eventually, Colt got the movie going. He didn’t say anything, so Yunwa wouldn’t have to see the opening credits that prefaced anything of consequence. He left it paused as he waited on the shapeshifted Guzzlord, skipped over the credits for all their sakes.

“Don’t take too long!” He warned to Yunwa. “I have my music set to shuffle; to play in a random order. Who knows what could come after that song?”

After he delivered the warning, he cuddled Sunny as he waited. The Delphox reciprocated the gesture, stroking her trainer’s hair while she was at it.

Yunwa listens for a bit more, thinking this song is quiet, though different from the last one.

And then it gets louder.

They rip out the earbuds and throw them on the ground.

Jean: -smiles- I might take you up on that.

Julius: <Weremons? Interesting... I guess that does work. How can I find out more?>

Odessa: -withdraws all her Pokemon and walks forward to stoically regard the noose- He is. Already was, probably. -looks over her shoulder at Jimmy- Smith, was it? Be careful. We might be - !

-abruptly, she staggers, her leg caught in the sand, which is starting to shift and move. She cries out, but then something pulls her under and she disappears-

Oblivion Wing - Cargo Hold

A pillow materialized to catch the headphones before they collided with the ground. Colt met Yunwa’s gaze.

“Let’s just start the movie, okay?” He asked as he resumed the movie, and had the illusory pillow slide his headphones back to him comfortably.

“That’s the kind of place I described to you earlier, the one with the other evil people and the worse food,” Colt told Yunwa as the establishing shot panned out.

Words describing what noises were being made, including a character’s dialogue, showed up at the bottom of the screen. <Subtitles,> Sylveon explained.

<Wait,> Lucario paused as he returned. A few seconds later, he materialized and pressed a few buttons on the laptop. <Screen sharing. Anyone who wants to riff, return.> He allowed.

Helmsman, Julius, Sylveon, Amaterasu, Sylveon and Rei all followed Lucario into the Pokéballs.

Everyone else stayed out, including Caliburn, the Kartana a little confused as to the new device in front of him, but a little firescura from Colt said everything. No touchy.

Yunwa: "Okay..."

They notice what Colt says but due to not understanding Standard Monese, they don't get what Sylveon or Lucario say, though they just pass it off.

They do notice Caliburn, however, and, realize that's who they're going to be talking to.
