If there's a secondary impetus, especially if it's an emotional one, it's going to be vital to stopping him with a minimum of fuss.

-She takes a sip of water-

The GM House

-The Templar's Uzi sparks and explodes in his hand as a tornado of lightning and dust forms nearby. The GM Pokemon quickly back away from it while the Templars turn towards the storm.-

-A flashing sword rips out from behind the curtain of sand and locks blades with a Templar. Two more Templars find themselves deflecting a barrage of Aura Sphere.-

Deziree: Who...?

-Meanwhile, one Aura Templar fires an Aura Storm into the sand funnel in an attempt to destabilize it. The beam of energy catches something solid before coming to a sudden stop.-

-A young man, pale and sickly from what of his skin showed underneath the protective covering, had a hand held out towards the stream of Aura. The energy swirled and twisted as it was sucked into the palm of his hand, and color returned to his cheeks as his eyes grew less sunken.-

Cooper: Oh, that's the good stuff...

Bismund: Don't drain too much!

Cooper: You kidding, this isn't even at half capacity yet.

-From inside the storm, a feminine voice calls out:-

???: Hey, you idiot, get back into cover! Dumbass.

The GM House

Cooper: Yeah, yeah, give me a second, I'm almost done.

-The Templar collapses from exhaustion as the energy in Cooper's hand begins to reform.-

Cooper: Let's see if this trick Milla and I made up still works with just one...

-He raises his hands, and a massive swirling orb of sickly green Aura forms. It swells, and swells, and swells, before it explodes in a massive cloud. The Templars, and Bismund, all clutch their heads.-

Bismund: AGH! Warn me before doing that!

-The Auric Templars, however, are hit far worse. Most pass out. The few psychics in the group panic at the sight of their comrades falling, and quickly begin sending out Teleporters.-

Phosphora: Okay, now we leave!

-She grabs Cooper by the collar and drags him back into the storm.-

Deziree: WAIT! At least let me get your names!

Bismund: Don't answer!

Phosphora: I wasn't GOING to, you lummox!

-The storm quickly departs.-

Laura: -to Lila- Our dad went crazy because bad stuff happened, so he's trying to unite the multiverse!

-Alonya looks left. Alonya looks right. Alonya leans in to whisper to Paula-

'Alonya: I saw that Izaya guy from Mobius acting shifty and tailed him, and he was talking to that Scarlette girl about taking initiative against that J-Team. Something's up and I don't like it.

Paula: You don't really think that girl's stable enough to handle this sort of thing, do you? Aulstyne likes her because she knows the J-Team like the back of her one good hand, and like, I get that. That's good knowledge to have for this sort of thing. But letting, ahem, Miss Anemos lead the thing? That's dangerous. They're totally right, this reeks of teacher's-pet bullshit. And if this Izaya guy's the one who fed the idea to her...

Alonya: Wait, she got promoted? Last I heard Aulustyne's queue for promotion requests was miles long...

-She thinks a bit-

Normally I'd approve of taking some initiative against the J-Team, but I don't trust this Scarlette girl or Izaya anymore... And dare I say it I've been doubting the higher-ups as welll.

-She takes another sip-

Paula: Honestly, I'd be out of here if I didn't need the money. But I do. No way I'm going back home. Best I can do is say "hey, yeah, you've got the same doubts I do, fuck this bullshit."
