-he's currently scanning the field, weighing advantages and disadvantages at particular areas-

-concentrated near Mags are Halcyon, Diesel, Musket, and apparently Phobos. Diesel and Musket are more physical attackers, but Ever's seen Musket pull off a decent Flamethrower. Diesel, on the other hand, is safest backing out and going for Eric, who has almost a clear shot at PEFE!Every, if you don't count Ever and Glimmer. Which Ever is pretty sure is the correct course of action. Another Pokemon on this side of things wouldn't hurt...-

-Brie is making some assessments of her own. Less invested in specific positioning than Ever is, she's calculating the distance between herself and Eric, how fast she can pull Calamity, how long it would take the Minior to reach the path between Eric and PEFE!Every, and as a consequence exactly where she should aim the ball-

-Amanita's just waiting-

Ever: Oh. Smart.

-and he whips around, Glimmer loosing an Ember at the person melting out of the shadows behind PEFE!Every. This person tsks, sidestepping with no special difficulty as blades of obscura sprout from her wrists-

-Eric and Brie lunge, but Brie's lunge is coupled with pressing the button to send out Calamity. The Minior appears, already streaking towards Eric-

Calamity: <Your wish has been granted, assuming it was to be hit by a large rock. Otherwise, you are probably out of luck.>

Eric: -from where he's crashed into a tree- Leader! A hand?

-she steps, and she's suddenly between Eric and Calamity's second dive, parrying the Minior with a knife that flashes with energy-

-and is knocked off course by bubbles, which form from nowhere to batter them aside-

-she dashes forwards, but Eric has a slightly better measure of her at this point, as well as time to build up an attack. The bubbles regather, aiming at Brie's back leg and knocking her off course. She readjusts, rolling to avoid faceplanting, but Eric's already gone, and readying a more committed attack-

-and he's forced to bring up more bubbles to shield himself from the Sigilyph's Air Cutter-

-meanwhile, Mags is engaging...well, everyone else. As she advances towards Amanita, Phobos darts between shadows-

Like the Memitos and their "Project Fenrir." He was so glad their own daughter of all people finally did them in.

There was a noise. Dave turned to find Mia standing there.
