"One year of pounding headaches followed by seven years of MST 3 K," Colt abridged as he approached and stroked Amaterasu with his free hand, getting her behind the ears. "But yeah, if there is going to be a next time - and Arceus' unholy flank, I hope there isn't - can you find some way to reduce contagion or even let us remain as ourselves?

"I don't know about you, but I like being me," he summarized.

-Pimpernel yelps as the Salazzle fires her Fire Blast at him, and closes his eyes to brace for the end before realising that Cleo saved him.-

-He lets out a long sigh and unfurls himself.-

-He hurls himself at the Salazzle with a full-on Take Down.-

-They rush with a Leaf Blade and an Iron Head, only to be met with a Rock Blast from a Cincinno and an Aqua Jet from an Azumarill-

Cleo: Don't worry, I'll trim you back.

The Salazzle recoils from the hit.

Salazzle: <   Oof!   >

She hisses at Pimpernel.

Salazzle: <   Why you-!   >

The Salazzle fires a Sludge Wave at Pimpernel.

Cleo: Pimpernel! Use Iron Tail!

Amber: Sammerguy! Leaf Blade! Mantle! Earthquake! on the big one!

Sammerguy: {Have at you!}

Mantle: <On it boss!>

Sammerguy lunges at the large one while Mantle stops the ground and sends tremors towards it.

Remy: Elizaveta! Focus Blast! Fatale! Fire Blast! at the little paper samurai that isn't Sammerguy!

Fatale: <Ok>

Elizaveta: <You got it!>

Fatale hurls a blast of flames towards the Kartana while Elizaveta fires a focused blast of Auric energy towards it.

However, the taller, elegant bug remains unaccounted for.

What about your Aura Sight, what do you see? Can you see him? Your connection to him? He'd have gotten back to you if he could, so something's stopping him.

-calling out- D-does anyone know any reason why a h-human in Pokémon form w-would suddenly disappear, without letting their mons know, if they were by themself somewhere without them?

Megan: ...?

Human!Pollen: ...okay, it's sounding like he's caught or dead. Maybe eaten. Is the connection to him still there? Does he feel dead?

...if he's caught, can't he just tell them he's human and break it off?

-aside, to Ceal- Ask what happens if someone's caught.

Human!Ceal: -calling out- M-more specifically, d-does anyone know what h-happens if a human in Pokémon form is c-caught by another trainer?

Megan: ...um.

Human!Pollen: J-Team experience pending. You have that scarf, right? Did you ask around the Route, see if any peoplemons saw him? I'm pretty sure a rampaging Lucario wouldn't be too hard to spot... How did he lose you?

Did you ask around the Pokémon Centers, see if anyone came in with a Lucario? He wouldn't just agree to be caught, he's a human, so if he was caught, he probably accidentally challenged someone or something.

...are you sure he's not fainted on the route somewhere?

Okay, Aura Sight, Route, Pokémon Centers. Dead, fainted, caught. What did they say?

-"Gas Mask slams into Victor again, droping the lilliepup to bellow half health."-

"Dang glad I probably won't have to go through that again," Colt sighed as he walked out of the group, drawing Xatu's Pokeball and his phone.

No response about Roy being here, he noticed as he opened up a new browser and looked up the gyms. Commonly accepted to do Roxanne first, he noticed.

Rustboro Gym

Colt ascended the stairs to Roxanne and met eyes with her. "We know why I'm here," he stated simply as he drew Rei's Pokeball.

She nodded and tossed forth a Pokeball that released a Golem. Rei materialized with a knowing smirk and used Fake Out.

As he flinched, Rei used the opportunity to bring down an Icicle Crash, which unfortunately did not make Golem flinch as he used Fire Punch on her.

Wiping off dust brought on by her staggering, Rei grabbed him with Foul Play before slamming him into the dirt, which just about tore it.

Roxanne returned him and sent out her Carracosta in response, who introduced herself with an Aqua Jet that managed to bring Rei down.

Colt returned her and brought out Sunny who used Signal Beam. Blinking spots out of her eyes, the Carracosta fell over in her daze in a very painful manner. The Delphox followed up with a Psyshock attack that was responded to by a Rock Slide.

Cowering under the attack, she was able to edge in another Signal Beam attack that brought her opponent to her knees. The Water-type was returned and swapped out for a Cradily, who was met with a Mystical Fire as he used Amnesia, but he got his memory to lapse first.

He then followed up with some purple liquid that didn't do much, but Colt recognized as Toxic. Sunny used a Psyshock only to be met with a Rock Slide. Sunny collapsed, Colt down to his last 'mon.

He sent out Roy, who ran down Cradily with a Flame Charge. Cradily was able to weave away from the attack and retaliate with a Rock Slide, so Roy tried again after regaining his constitution, and Cradily lay defeated.

After both parties returned their teams, Roxanne wordlessly tossed him the Stone Badge, which Colt nodded to her in thanks for. "Next up, Dewford," he mused as he exited.

He was gonna walk this time, at least until he saw the mass of ocean on the map. "Wait, I was just in Mauville, but the gym was seemingly ditched," he realized. "Meh."

Okay, he was gonna walk to this one. He'd probably meet some faces on the way to challenge Wattson. Maybe some 'mon that wanted in.

Hyul Castle

Not enough strength for that but prep for it anyway. But first get me a Gaster strong enough to shatter stone... Doesn't need a wide beam though.

Hmph, nice outfit and nice castle. Have you been down to the basement yet?

-He smirks-

Maybe you should go to the basement?

Hacks rubbed the bridge of his nose, quite frankly a odd sensation considering that he had more than 3 digits on the end of his limb and it wasn't a snout.

"We checked, I've tried aura sight but I can't find him anywhere, as for if he's caught. Well we don't know what happens, I hope he can inform someone somehow but if he did, he would've tried calling his own phone by now. Either he's been caught and he has amnesia, he's been caught and is too far away from a phone, he's a awful fighter, or he's been caught and can't exit pokeform... I do hope it's not the last one."

Hacks groaned a bit, "We haven't checked any Pokecenters yet, nobody has said anything about a Lucario."

Bishop spoke up, "Refresh my memory, why can't Silas communicate in Pokeform?"

<Most people don't speak mon and he's terrible with telepathy,> Snakeye explained.

"I just hope that if he is caught, the trainer will listen to reason and won't do anything crazy that could get him hurt..."

-Well, not much point in worrying about another trainer's annoyed mons from here.-

F!Blitz: -A bit less enthusiastically than previously- "Don't worry, Gym mon are specially trained to avoid doing permanent damage. Just recall him and let your Riolu give it a shot!"

Soujin is wandering around when he notices Archer.

Soujin: "You up now? You doing alright?"

Herbert: <You reeaaally don't get how this works George. You'll get there, though!>

Jay is meanwhile looking around and sees some sort of casino.

Jay: "Hm, not sure if it's my thing, but doesn't look too bad..."

And maybe...

"Hey, Herbert, Stylus. Wanna go check that building out?"

She gestures to a casino.

<if it keeps him from hugging me I'm down!>

Silas nods to convey that, he's still avoiding Herbert like he's a uber plague.

Silas leaps over to Jay and looks at the Casino, it seems somewhat familiar, he doesn't know why, maybe he read about it...

Archer: Yeah...

-he pauses-

I just keep thinking-

Mona: <That's new.>

Archer: -Who the hell were those guys?

Brawly, standing up to walk to the phone: In the mean time, you dudes enjoy the gym. Watch a movie, work out, you can even take on some of my mons if you want.
