She steps forward. The phantoms flanking her step in sync.

A massive draconic shadow rears over the party...

F!Robin(?): “I… I must have…” She looks around. “... This isn’t- But I- Did it… not work? I should be dead, but… I’m not.”
A Scizor sweeps down and lands in front of her. <Hey! Move, you’re in my spot!>
F!Robin(?): -jumps back- “Okay, what in the name of the Gods is that?”
Scizor: <Seriously lady? Just GO! SHOO!>
F!Robin(?) reaches for her sword, finding it… not there. “... Oh. I’m not keen on the odds of some giant… bug… thing versus me with my fists, so hopefully it won’t pursue if I leave…” She steps away slowly.
Scizor: <God, was that so hard? Sheesh, humans sometimes.> -the Scizor flaps back down, and lays where F!Robin(?) was standing moments before.
F!Robin(?): -exhales, looking around once more, albeit slower, surveying the land.- “Civilization, I need to find civilization, maybe then someone can tell me where I am, and why my memories are so damn fuzzy… At least I remember more than just my name, snippets, but more, unlike last time… Gods, this is the second time I’ve woken up in an unfamiliar land with few memories, this is getting embarrassing.”

Speaking of defending herself, three Geodudes burst out of the underbrush, followed by an Alolan Geodude. The Alolan Geodude seems to be the leader.
A!Geodude: <Hey you, yeah, you, give us your money!>
F!Robin(?): "More strange creatures, this time rock elementals?" She looks down at her stick. Not much, but... She settled into a fighting stance, backing away slowly.
???: <HEY YOU, PICK ON SOMEONE YOUR OWN SIZE!> A small voice shouts, and one of the Geodudes goes down in a hail of leaves. A Jangmo-o and a Fomantis jump out in front of F!Robin(?).
A!Geodude: <She's askin' for it, wanderin' 'aound here without any pokemon to defend herself!>
Fomantis: <Commander Artoria trained us to protect those who cannot protect themselves from brigands like you!>
A!Geodude: <Heh, you'll get yours then!>
The Lurantis unleashes another blast of leaves, downing another Geodude.
Meanwhile the Jangmo-o has engaged the Alolan Geodude, raking their claws across it, receiving mostly inconsequential shocks for their trouble.
F!Robin(?) looks around the battlefield, spotting something sneaking up behind the Fomantis. "Leaf, behind you!"
The Fomantis turns, able to dodge out of the way of most of a Ribombee's Bug Buzz.
Fomantis: <Hnng!>
F!Robin(?) continues her survey of the battlefield, determined to learn all she can from this fight. "The plant creature seems to have taken more damage from the bug than the rock elementals, is there some sort of elemental affinity in play?"
The Jangmo-o lands another solid hit on the Alolan Geodude, who looks around. <I... I'll get you next time!> And flees, leaving only the Ribombee.
Jangmo-o: <This is bad.>
Fomantis: <Very. But stay focused, if we intercept the attacks meant for each other, we have a much higher chance of survivng.>
The Jangmo-o nods. F!Robin(?) stands back a ways, observing.
The Ribombee aims another Bug Buzz at the Fomantis, but the Jangmo-o takes it instead. Both counter with a Slash and a Rock Slide, respectively. The Ribombee falters as if injured, but remains flying.
F!Robin(?) quietly sidesteps around the battlefield, as the Ribombee uses Dazzling Gleam, dropping both to critical health. The Jangmo-o counters with another Rock Slide, and the Fomantis with another slash.
As the Rimbombee is about to repeat the maneuver, knocking both out, F!Robin(?) lets out a cry, and thrusts her stick into the Ribombee, sending it flying into a tree and knocking it unconscious.
She turns to the Fomantis and the Jangmo-o. "Are either of you seriously injured?" Normally she'd be able to tell, but, well, plant creature and scaly dog don't exactly match up to her knowledge of what a critically injured person looks like.
The Fomantis waves her off. <We'll be fine.>
F!Robin(?) Sits back against a tree. "How are we supposed to communicate if we do not share a language?"
The Fomantis walks over to her, and starts tugging on her robe. "What?" She blinks. "You want me to follow you?"
The Fomantis nods.
F!Robin(?): "... Can you understand me?"
The Fomantis nods again.
F!Robin(?): "What a strange place this is."
Fomantis: <What a strange person you are.>
F!Robin(?): "... Still unable to understand you."
Fomantis: <Yep, that's the point.>
