-Marmalade banks out of the way of the laser, but the Boomburst isn't so easy to avoid. Marmalade is brought to the red, and Cuseinga is knocked out easily, Marmalade catching the Heliolisk before he can fall-

Marmalade: <Fuck! Hey, bat! You know if I go down your scientist falls to her death, right?>

Muninn: <You don't know any dragon shouts, do you?>

Marmalade: <Never took the time to learn.>

Muninn: <A problem for another day, I suppose. I have an idea.>

Marmalade: <What on earth makes you think I trust you?>

Muninn: <Do you have choices I wasn't aware of? Currently our only strategy is "climb", but the air's getting thinner and I guarantee you that a Noivern can deal with that for longer than you can.>

-and she stops beating her wings. She goes a little higher on momentum, but she's a big dragon, and that doesn't take her far. She turns over in the air...-

-and then her wings hum to life again, and she rockets down at well over terminal velocity, a blue aura exploding to life around her as she charges down the Noivern-

Marmalade: <Dodge this, jackass!>

-at the same time as Muninn leaps from her tail, diving down after her as the same aura forms-

Muninn: <Let's end this!>

-Ever is in midleap as the laser fires. He holds out his left arm to stop it and is sent flying, rolling to a halt on a rooftop-

Ever: ...Ow.

-he glances at his arm. A scorch mark extends out from the center of his forearm to elbow and wrist, and cracks are scattered throughout the whole thing. Pink light is drifting from them-

...I hope this thing self-repairs.

-he struggles to his feet-

Ever: Hey! Multitool! Omelette you have that one, on account of the fact that you just lost. Those machines really aren't all they're cracked up to be, huh?

-and he sprints for the edge of the building, making one last leap-

-onto the rooftop of the Celadon City Gym-

Ever: By all means, attack a Gym head-on, but I'm sure nobody wants things to get that hardboiled, right?

-A silent, invisible flying eye silently follows the party of mons. However Pent did in fact send a representative capable of speech into the forest-

-It takes a whole lot of minutes but Pent does eventually return and damn they've gone all-out on applying to the theme of cute Lopunny outfit. As previously mentioned it's a very fluffy knee-length dress, flat boots with the obvious shape (quite the lucky find considering their niche nature) and while there wasn't any ears there was a tiny brown and cream tophat perched at an angle where it's probably on a headband. Pent themselves/herself has definitely gone female for this and has chosen hair that's both decently long in the back and a cream color itself. Honestly it's such a different look on all fronts but the face that it'd be easy to walk up to someone Pent knows and not get recognized (barring cheaty ways like aura sense)-

-Marmalade quickly levels out, flicking her tail to give Muninn something to grab, and soars away from the battle, hopefully without pursuit now that Infinite's down-

Marmalade: <That was harrowing.>

-the two, along with the unconscious Cuseinga and the still-sleeping PEFE!Every, exit the city-

-Ever shrugs with one arm, as the prosthetic isn't really responding-

-he sits down cross-legged on the roof of the Gym-

Ever: Think what you want, Multiman. But Marmalade's got your scientist and she left while you were busy chasing me. All you have to gain from this situation is killing a J-teamer. So in the interest of avoiding that, I've found myself some protection. Any continuation to this fight is on you, bud.

-Ludmilla is back at Hapu's house.-

-She raises her hand to knock.-

-A Mudsdale slams the door open from the inside, sending Ludmilla flying back.-

Ludmilla: Uncle Ren said she had excellent pedigree!

-he glances at his prosthetic, and attempts to move it. It doesn't respond, pink sparks flickering around it-

-he takes out his phone, and calls PEFE!Every-

Ever: Great. Wake up PEFE!Every and teleport back here as soon as you can, okay? I'm on the roof of the Celadon Gym.

The two would see the cone from Alyesha's helm-mounted flashlight wiggle around above them as she slowly went down on a long rope, her handheld flashlight dangling from a belt slung around her leg.

Above her one could see Yuri and his flashlight

Krasnaya meanwhile could be heard digging through the walls, emerging from the ceilling before alyesha and Yuri

Hapu: Go, Mudsdale!

-The massive equine canters up, pawing at the ground.-

Ludmilla: Trop Kick!

-Anastasia smacks the horse across the neck.-

-The horse just gives her a nasty look before coming down on her with both front legs, pounding her into the dirt.-

-With a crash, the massive insectoid enters the field. He immediately hauls back and gives the Mudsdale a Head-On Collision First Impression.-

Polydamas: <I must respect how well you carry your weight.>

Mudsdale: <Oooogh... likewise...>

-Kai very nearly says "I'd love to see the other one too". Very nearly. It certainly shows on her face.-

-But, instead of saying that, she reacts in a different way, particularly in response to the headpats.-

Kai: Aaaaaaaaaa. I think I'm good, I know how to get here if I wanna get something myself. Unless you have anything else, I'm gonna check you out.

-Beat-

Kai: Get you checked out, I mean. Buy the clothes.

Diane: Heh, yeah.

Kaito: Gonna be honest, it is really jarring to hear about so many people not much older than me getting married. Like wow. I'm not supposed to feel old yet.
