Anyway, uh, from what I know, the past eight months or so, people have mostly just been doing Island challenges in Alola, and dealing with problems involving the Ultra Wormholes that have been popping up everywhere and the Ultra Beasts coming out of them. Also, a couple people getting dragged into them and spit out elsewhere, sometimes in a completely different universe. Interpol calls them "Fallers".
Also Anabel's an Interpol agent and I'm filling in as the Battle Tower Frontier Brain while she's dealing with the multiverse mess. That's a thing.
As for Mobius, apparently they're trying to unite the multiverse or something, and Echo used to be an admin before she robbed them of half of their resources to start Illusion. They haven't been a major threat until recently, though. There's another group called Team Iron, and something else about an evil fruit company? I don't know anything about those two, your guess is as good as mine.
