Super Nerd nodded back. "In all honesty, I could never go to outer space. The concept of never ending lack of air and darkness is pretty horrific." He admitted with a sheepish smile. "But it's really the work you guys are doing that I'm interested in. I'm, well, studying Urban Development and how it impacts the lives of pokemon, as well as cyber-ethics and philosophy and how they effect our relationship with pokemon...sorry, I talk a bit too much about my personal studies, as if I'm already a professor." He blushed.

Looking at the area they entered, SN's eyes gleamed with the happiness of a child. "G-God...it's amazing. You all take so much time to consider and care for the needs of the individual. No wonder you made it to Mars. This...this Team. It's a good team." He nearly shed a tear at it all. He found people like him.

"Well of course we take time. Humanity won't like a uncomfortable cold existence and Pokemon need specific habitats and care. Also Pory OS systems work better with a body built to their request."

A Porygon hopped into the body, it stood up, and then dabbed, Carol stopped smiling, "Though that doesn't mean they aren't prone to the same mistakes as us."

"As for Space, that's fine. We've got plenty of engineers here on the ground, one of our recruits is even a Aerospace major, so we've been talking with her over single stage shuttles."

"Thank you! Enough people don't understand that sometimes efficency has to take second wheel to happiness." Super Nerd nodded, only to give a flat look to the porygon that dabbed in the robot...before doing a casual dab in return.

"At least they're having fun with their tech." He offered Carol, smiling softly. He rolled the pokeball in his hand once more, before nodding and pressing the button, letting Byte pop out in all her pink and black glory. "Hey dork. How you feeling?"

"I'm okay, I took a nap and it was nice. Is...this the place that you said we were moving to?"

"Oh hello there," Carol said in response.

Ada leaned forward, optic set on her robot body adjusting, "So nice to see another Porygon that can speak human languages."

"Every Porygon here learns, mostly through use of the vocalization software on the bodies, and the ships. As for efficiency, we've found that when more people are comfortable to a reasonable degree, they are more efficient, especially when they know how much they do have to give up to keep things running," Carol explained, "But I'm just the space walker. The science stuff is handled by Johnathan and the R&D team."

The Pory robot walked out, several scientists observing it, all of a sudden from the radio of the cart, "Oh Arceus... more people?!"

Out floated the grumpiest looking Porygon 2 Teddie would probably ever see, "Carol I just got used to you guys. Now you bring us more?!"

Carol chuckled, "Teddie, meet Ares. Our resident Misanthrope."

Byte looked up to the other Porygon and let out a tiny chirp of acknowledgement. "Thank you...SN helped me to learn." She explained, nodding over to Teddie.

As the Nerd in question listened to Carol, he couldn't help but flinch at the grumpy voice through the radio, finding himself facing...such a grumpy face. or at least, as grumpy as an adorable slight-beveled digibird pokemon could look.

"Oh, hello Ares." He greeted softly, trying to stay friendly as he pushed a strand of messy hair from his face. "It's nice to meet you...I apologize for any inconvenience. Just interested in the work you all are doing here."

Byte, being ever the optimistic little hack, swooped over to the Porygon 2. "It's nice to meet you Mr. Ares. My name is Byte. Thank you for having me and my trainer, I hope we can get along." And then she giggled.

For being a virtual program, Byte was incredibly girly.

-The Midnight Lycanroc yips and tries to jump out of the way, but is grazed for a good chunk of their health, retaliating with a close-range Brick Break-

-Ever lets out a deep, exasperated sigh-

Ever: I hereby bestow on all of you the title of "J-team". Use it well. Don't get us banned from any other hotels.

Muninn: <You know, maybe you should test people.>

Ever: Honestly, it's not like it comes with any perks. All the neat stuff is in the care of people far more paranoid than I am.

Muninn: <Fair, but what if someone's really evil? Like, for instance, me?>

Ever: Well, how'd that work out for you?

Ares harrumphed, Carol laughed, "Don't mind Ares. He joined Asimov because we promised him jobs that were quiet and alone. Then he learned that he hates total isolation and has stuck around."

"Volt would probably blow something up if I wasn't here," Ares grumbled.

Carol raised a hand to argue, then conceded, "Yeah, it's why he ordered that tank of a body after all."

Ares looked over Byte, "Yowch. Whatever happened to you clearly wasn't kind. That why you two signed up? Want some fancy robot tech with a history of Porygon success?"

Carol looked at him, "Observant aren't you?"

"Gotta be. I was used for a variety of purposes before hand, commonly being a aimbot for FPS games. Though I will admit I'd gladly play DOOM again."

Nerd couldn't help but stifle a chuckle at the grumpy porygon2, letting Byte do her introductions. He felt a litle twinge of annoyance as he so blatantly commented on her appearance, but the porygon took it in stride.

"Yes, it's a bit unfortunate...but Super Nerd is taking very good care of me! He's figured out that my code was mixed with a collection of random information...such as the code for missing textures from Gmod, which would explain the pink and black."

SN's face shot red like the fourth of July as suddenly Byte casually used his nickname that he hadn't been called in such a long time.

""We" depends on whether or not I'll be able to make use of Obscura. 'Cause I want to kick this bastard's teeth in too. AND SAY NOTHING ABOUT YOUR ABSENCE." Colton told Walt, growling the last snippet at Jester.

Did he actually use Snarl or did he just say something angrily? He didn't know. Walt probably would.

Akala Island

The Waterfall was interrupted with a Brick Break breaking Helmsman's stride. Not one to be outdone, he jabbed the weapon into the ground and caused the ground around him to rupture with water. <Get hype!> He announced, following that up with coalescing the water around his seamitar, concentrating it all, and then sending it screaming for Lycanroc.

Ares began to chuckle a little, he flew over to Super Nerd and looked less grumpy.

"So Byte, entirely up to you how design your body," Carol mentioned, "We've found better usage in ones that fit what a Porygon wants. It's not just comfortable, it's practical."

Having had enough to time to get into "neutral" position, Colton's water-type effortlessly parried the attempt with just a raw conk to the wolf's head with the flat of the sword.

Technically it was Razor Shell, but he didn't know. He just knew that the Lycanroc was getting close to defeat and he wanted to finish with relative style.

"That seems fairly definitive," Colton shrugged. "But I'm more surprised that you even know False Swipe," he confessed.

Malie Center — PEFE!Every's Room

-The door opens, and Echo pokes her head in.-

Echo: I heard what happened.

The Centurion stood up and roared, swiping at Pent again.

Zachary was gripped and tossed.

Sam however was looking over the machine.

Jester was annoyed, "Walt come on. Big fan of your work. Especially during your [World War 2] propaganda! Whoo! Fun stuff!"

The Jester giggled and the skeleton began to walk around the room, the metal arm still attached and following, "Life is the biggest joke. And not even a very fun one, come on people it's not so bad to let me make things... fun."

Sam looking over the machine remarked, "My dead @$$ would argue otherwise. 50 %$$#ing years, Arceus above I've been dead for a long time."

Jester frowned and moved over to Sam, "Yeah, I've only been sealed for a few thousand years no biggie."

"I get the feeling you're just someone who delights in others misery, thus my sympathy for you is very low."

Jester frowned harder, "Why did you let him live?"

-Pleth leaps to her feet as the door opens, only relaxing a few seconds after Echo reveals herself-

Brie: She said something about an urgent appointment. Haven't heard from her since.
