I actually haven't, considering Arundi's alien biology I'm not quite sure how to take a sample without hurting them as of yet. They're probably a bit more like a Metagross than a Ferrothorn though despite getting nutrients from the ground and photosynthesizing.

Arundi: {Tagg promised no experimentation that hurts.>

-Aside from the blowing wind, it's eerily quiet.-

-However, despite the large amount of wind and air flow, there's a heavy, perfume-like scent that dominates the surrounding area.-

Mason: You don't suppose this is what a Tapu smells like, do you? Maybe we need to just find where the smell is coming from. And, uh, hope we're not about to accidentally wake up a grumpy deity from a nap or something.

-Shaun shakes some sand from his coat and unbuttons it.-

Shaun: "I thought you were stealthy...?"

-He inhales deeply.-

Shaun: "Smells kinda like flowers...If the legends are correct, Tapu Bulu is a Grass-type. I imagine they would produce a sweet scent like other Grass-types. I'm sure it must be them."

-Shaun does come up (as Umbra was riding on Ace as well.-

Shaun: "Some warning next time?"

PEFE!Every: Hm, that is unfortunate. If you do, would you mind sending me anything you find out? These U Itra Beasts seem like they're relevant to the multiverse, if people are interacting with them and ending up in the wrong universe.

-Should anyone take a more involved look around, aside from the smell, there are also strange ceramic fragments sticking out of the sand in a few spots.-

Shaun: "Tapu Bulu looks a bit like a Tauros. There's broken pottery. Tapu Bulu once destroyed a building in a fit of rage. Just connecting the dots."
