(Three people have made their way here. Alex is sitting near the back, not paying much attention to the Nihilego. Simon is near the front, looking at the Nihilego with an expression of mingled fascination and disgust. And Belinda is not paying attention to the Nihilego at all, but instead taking a seat beside the boyfriend she hasn't seen in ages.)

Mezzo: Ever, get away from that thing. It nearly seduced me away from you.

You already lost your arm to one Ultra Beast, I don't need you losing your mind to another. As for why this Nihilego apart from being the first one I managed to catch, it would be even more of a pain to get containment for one of the others.

Since you did try to assimilate one of my friends, and I want to test a theory, cross your lowest tentacles if you can understand me.

Mezzo: He captured that one because it was doing something to me. Like... trying to assimilate me or something? I dunno, but I was inside it and it was cool and I think that's why my head hurts so much.

-it hesitates a moment, then crosses its tentacles-

Mezzo: If I were you, I wouldn't take anything she says at face value.

The orange haired man rolled up one of his sleeves, revealing a P-H armband. He took his cigarette and doused it against his arm, his face only slightly wincing at the pain.

"Sorry about that. Only way I can breathe fire in this form."

He gets up and casually strolls around the tank.

"If we can't understand it, and it can't understand us, then how do we know it follows the Vow? For all you know you could be holding it against its will when the only crime it has committed is acting within its nature."

Mimikyu cries for help, a Gengar has appeared!

Gengar: <I am Ankou, and I have heard the call of my Master!>

-Gengar forms a clear barrier that deflects the majority of the shadow ball, but both Rhadamanthus and Ankou is hit by some of the shadow ball-

Krieg: Gen, use Dark pulse!

-Gen fires a Dark pulse a Rhadamanthus. Rhadamanthus gets hit, but seems unfazed. Rhadamanthus retaliates by attempting a play rough at both Reaper and Gen. Gen is hit and sprawling to the foor.-

Gen: <Heh... so this is the limit as a Haunter......>

-Gen gets up but only barely-

-To Mezzo-

I'm not, but I figured that since it assimilated you it might've picked some things up from the experience.

-To Ace-

Basically, they have no known gender as we understand it, and at least in the case of Nihilego despite looking like a jelly it's probably got more in common with a Geodude or Roggenrola makeup-wise.

-To the orange-haired man-

They're not from this dimension, so they probably don't. I'm not exactly sure if the Nihilego is malicious or just did what it naturally does out of fear of an unfamiliar environment when it enthralled Mezzo, but we kinda lack an easy way of getting to Ultra Space, and if I just let them go off somewhere they'd just enthrall someone else and likely become a problem later down the line.

Especially if you're a Faller like myself.

A large motley looking Arcanine is now standing before the the group. His fur is matted and he's absolutely coveref in scars.

-Bromine taps his feet while Fluorine and Chlorine pace back and forth.-

-The little girl kicks a nearby can that goes rolling off onto the beach. Chlorine scowls, both at her sister's carelessness and the point she had.-

Chlorine: Why don't they call us back? Why don't they at least have us attack? I mean look at her! She's literally having to be force fed by that stupid Chansey of hers.

Bromine: Could be that they're ready to extract her-

Fluorine: Shut up, Bromine! She's a failure - they'd never want to extract such a broken thing as her!

-Bromine sinks back down into his bench.-

Chlorine: No, they must have other plans. Maybe they plan on having us tail the so-called J-Team we've been hearing about while here, after she's taken care of?

Fluorine: Oh, please. If they made Wolfram as soft as a pile of dough, there's no way they'd put up a threat to us.

-Bromine just shrugs as the two argue, breaking off a piece of a donut he was eating and passing it into the shadows underneath his bench.-

-Cid couldn't help but notice that it was always a report that began the bad parts of his day. Today was no exception as he read the information extracted by Dr. Previa.-

Cid: This is the second most disgusting scientific experiment I've ever read.

-Previa's knuckles turn white as he squeezes the arms of his chair.-

Previa: It's as complete a synopsis as I could render from the man's mind.

Cid: I almost felt bad about the methods, until I read what it uncovered.

-Cid's shoulders square as he takes a deep breath.-

Cid: This abomination can't continue.

-Previa nearly leaps from his chair and starts pacing frantically. His eyes are wild with anger and jealousy alike.-

Previa: If they can create custom-made humans, they must not only have access to some of the most detailed and articulated information regarding the human genome and genetic material in the world - and they're using it to destroy anyone who gets too close! That's not science, it's- it's-

-Previa stomps a foot and pulls at his hair.-

-Cid nods again, slightly more fatigued. Previa gets a massive "smile" on his face, which Cid mentally compares to the grin a snake gives to easy prey.-

Cid: It is clear that this organization is not going to be cooperated with, if their methods involve systemic human experimentation and subsequent extermination.

-Cid opens a tab on his holo-monitor, and starts typing a message.-

Cid: I'm sending a message to the other Vice Directors, but since you are here - and so sodding eager - I will tell you first.

-He stops typing long enough to pull out a belt, covered in Pokeballs. The Pokeballs are all nicked, scarred, and in one case, locked with an extra metal cage. Previa recoils from that last one.-

Cid: This group, moreso than the J-Team, is to be considered actively hostile to our continued existence. Anyone acting as agents for them are to be considered hostile and subdued on sight.

-Previa connects the dots and balks.-

Previa: B-but that's basically a declaration of war!

-Cid nods. He sends the message on his holoscreen.-

-The ship lurches underneath them. Previa nearly stumbles as the ship veers to starboard before picking up to flank speed.-

Cid: And I know exactly where the first battleground is going to be.

The Mega room

Krieg:.... oh, ok

-'Then what's the goddamn point of this function, Frieden you idiot!?', Krieg thinks to himself as he tosses Gen's ball to Alli-

Frieden's office

-Frieden continues his research on the UB physiology before sneezing twice, jolts his head, and looks around the room, he shouts.-

Frieden: WHO WAS IT? WHO TALKED SHIT ABOUT ME?
