-Archer might run into said breeder-

Kaisei: "Ah, uh, hey, Archer."

-Shaun and his team are lounging in their room.-

Shaun: "I think we need to talk to Acerola later. About the trial."

Jessica: <Isn't she at that big house where all the orphans live?>

Shaun: "Yeah."

-A sly, devilish grin crosses Jess's face.-

Jessica: <Heheh, nice to know...>

Shaun: "That's a bad look and now I'm afraid."

Jessica: <What? Of little old me? I'd never do anything to you.>

Shaun: "And there goes my chances of sleeping soundly tonight."

Oh trust me, Shaun, if all goes to plan, you won't be getting much sleep anyways...

Archer: Oh, hey Kaisei! Have you seen any of those snow-white Vulpix? They're supposed to live around here...

-Kaisei blushes a bit-

Kaisei: "Uh..."

"Yeah, I've seen some. Not around here since I just got here, but I've... seen some."

Tapu Village

Archer: Can you help me find one? Because-

-coughs, grunts-

Er, they'll make a great punching bag for my team! Dumb foxes.

Kaisei: "Well... I can help you, sure."

"I'd be kinda concerned if that were the actual reason, but..."

Tapu Village

-Archer sees the look in Kaisei's eyes and caves-

Archer: Okay okay okay I admit it I want one because they're the cutest things ever and I want to cuddle it and pet it and feed it Berries help me

Tapu Village

(The head of a certain Alolan Vulpix pops around the side of a house.)

Isbrand: <Hark! I sense a situation my presence would make significantly more entertaining!> :3

Kaisei: "Hey, there's no shame in admitting i-"

-He blinks at Isbrand-

"Well."

"Uh... you've got a trainer, right? This'd be pretty convenient if not, though."

Tapu Vilage

-Archer gasps at the sight of Isabrand and scoops her up, stroking her belly-

Archer: Who's a good little Vulpix? You are! You are!

Ace: <Probably off to plan her little prank or the like for later. She'll be fine.>

Shaun: "...Yeah. I have a feeling she went to the Aether House. But why?"

Kaisei: "Uh, cool."

-to Archer- "She likes it, for the record."

-suddenly, everyone in the area hears this-

...Wha...?

-Kaisei looks around to try and find out where the noise is coming from-

(Isbrand leaps out of Archer's arms the moment the music starts, adopting a battle-ready pose.)

Isbrand: <Halt! Who goes there?>

Tapu Village

-There is a massive rustling in the nearby grass...-

-And a small Alolan Vulpix with a black tuft of fur on his shoulder and black stripes on the rest of him emerges, the music changing to this:-

Vulpix: <I will give you dis pear.>

Archer: ...

AAAAAAAAAH HE'S ADORABLE

Tapu Village

(Isbrand looks outright disgusted.)

Isbrand: <Well, I never! It is a blatant violation of the rules of adventuring to present a hero ready for a challenge with such an anticlimax!>

Fuego: <No problem. The magic section was down here.>

-he floats through the floor again-

Tapu Village

Vulpix: <Your words belie a weak heart.>

Archer: -to Isabrand- Hey, cute Vulpix, is it OK if you fight the other cute Vulpix for me so I can catch him?

Jessica: <Come on Shaun, get up, get up!>

-Shaun awakes groggily to Jessica jumping on his chest.-

Shaun: "What? The sun's not even up...ugh..."

Jessica: "You and everyone else need to come with me right now!"

Shaun: <Mmm...fine. This better be important.>

Shaun: "...Really? Now?"

Acerola: "Yep! You understand what you need to do?"

Shaun: "Umm...yeah. Just wasn't expecting it now."

Jessica: <It's for atmosphere! And we could leave...if you're being a scaredy-Shinx. Or a Torchic?>

Shaun: "I'm not afraid!"

Jessica: <Yeah? Prove it!>

Shaun: "Fine! Can I see that Poké Finder, Acerola?"

Acerola: "Sure thing!"

-She hands it over to Shaun, who heads inside followed by Jessica. Tsunami looks at Lightning and shakes her head.-

Tsunami: <What are we gonna do with them?>

-They follow the others. Acerola smiles ominously.-

Acerola: "Good luck!"

Lightning: <Why do I feel like we'll need it?>
