-As Buford falls over, Tale begins to glow-

-He grows larger, he forms more of a dome with his head and a sort of beak comes out-

-When the light fades, he is a Tentacruel-

Tale: <Hehehe... Now you shall->

-He's struck by the Bullet Punch, not taking much damage-

<Now you shall deal with me truly!>

-He shoots a Bubble Beam at Mona-

Malie, past

-Mona is blasted back suprisingly by the Bubble Beam-

Mona: ~Oh come on.~

Archer: Psychic!

-Mona launches a psychic assault on Tale's mind-

-Tale is hurt a fair bit by the Psychic, but seems to still be pretty alright-

Tale: <Fufu... While that did hurt, you'll have to do better than that!>

-He shoots another Bubblebeam-

Malie, last night

Mona: -is sent staggering back by the Bubblebeam, but recovers-<Oh don't you worry, I certainly will!>

-Charges her wrist spikes with electricity that soon evelops both paws, then goes in for a Thunderpunch-

Tale: <Blugh...>

-The electric blow takes the energy out of him and he faints-

-Kaisei recalls him-

Kaisei: "Guess that's it for my team, then. That was a fun match."

-Shaun and co may run into a caped woman and her Fraxure-

Malie, last night

Archer: Fuck yeah it was! I didn't expect your little guys to put up a hell of a punch!

-he blinks-

Shaun: "Yeah, she does. Keep it down a little, would you? We don't want to be rude."

-The woman notices them in turn-

Woman: "Hah, seems you're enjoying my outfit. Thank you, as I do work to maintain its appearance."

-An Exploud takes the time to pass by-

-Gogie covers his ears in response-

Kaisei: "Archer... that's a nice name."

Archer: Heh, thanks. So's Kaisei.

Kaisei: "Thanks..."

Jessica: <Oh, I'm Jessica, three-tailed flame-throwing utterly-adorable Vulpix!>

Shaun: "No one calls you that...Anyways, I'm Shaun, ex-breeder and Pokémon trainer."

Ace: <Ace the Staraptor at your service.>

Woman: "I'm Hae-Won, Dragon Tamer. Though... what did you mean by 'no one calls you that'?"

Shaun: "Nice to meet you both. And, uh, her name's Jessica, but that's how she's been introducing herself. I think that Is-this Alolan Vulpix we met has been rubbing off on her."

-He looks around, as if expecting someone or something to be there.-

Hae-Won: "Er, alright."

"Curious, though. Is it true that the Vulpix here are Ice-type?"

Ace: <Indeed. They adapted to the snow on Lanakila.>

Shaun: "In fact, this is an Alolan Vulpix egg."

Hae-Won: "Ah, yes, I've heard that too."

Akravator: <Oh, cool. Wonder what it'd be like to have them with us.>

<Well, maybe not that kind of Vulpix per se, but...>

Jessica: <Heheh, cool.>

Shaun: "Because Alolan Ninetales are Ice-type?"

Akravator: <Pretty much, yeah.>

Hae-Won: "Hm... you understand Pokemon, I take it?"

Shaun: "Hmm? Oh yeah. I studied the language. Probably helps that I was partially raised by a Psychic-mon too."

Hae-Won: "Hm, you were? I admit my family situation wasn't that exciting."
