Ever: Elevator pitch: I'm building a team of ragtag Pokemon so I can take the Island Challenge so I can turn this bird into a ghost because the people on this island don't believe that I ever won a Championship so they won't let me into the flower garden and I can't fly here because a kid with a bunch of pseudos chases me down when I try and I'm trapped on islands because I'm pretty sure the fair folk are screwing with me.

-he points at Narrow, who waves-

Fomantis: <...> (to Narrow) <What's his deal?>

Narrow: <At this point? I have no idea.>

Muninn: <Whatever happened to being a detective?>

Narrow: <I am a detective.>

Muninn: <Then you're bad at it.>

Ever: Anyway, what do you say?

Fomantis: <I would say that you sound nuts.>

Ever: That's fair.

Crabrawler: <Um, excuse me.>

Fomantis: <What do you want?>

Crabrawler: <My berries back. Do you not remember? We were just having this conversation.>

Fomantis: <Oh, yeah. Those are still mine.>

-the Crabrawler cracks his knuckles-

Ever: Okay, I see where this is going. Hey, Fomantis, if I keep you from dying here, will you come with me?

Muninn: <And people say I'm manipulative.>

Muninn: <What did I even do?>

Pleth: <I dunno, your voice is sort of annoying.>

Fomantis: <Uh, look, guy, I don't need your help.>

-Ever winces-

Fomantis: <...Okay, perhaps some assistance might be warranted.>

Ever: Yeah, Estoc? Do your thing.

-Estoc scuttles over to the Crabrawler, who is readying another Crabhammer-

Estoc: <Hey. I just want you to know, this isn't anything personal.>

Crabrawler: <What isn't persona—>

Crabrawler: <...That sure felt personal.> -faints-

Estoc: <Nah, I'm just generally vindictive.>

Fomantis: <Okay, that would be cool.>

Ever: Awesome!

-and he catches the Fomantis-

-They find Jelly Belly drooped over a fallen tree-

Oscillot: {Hm... another one who came here? They look hurt, though.}

-And Sparks into the last Wishiwashi-

-As the area starts turning back to normal with the defeat of the Totem mon-
