Gladion: ...Anyway. Ultra Beasts are the residents of the Ultra Dimension, gateways to which called Ultra Wormholes have appeared in Alola since ancient times. My father was lost to an Ultra Wormhole and my mother became obsessed with getting him back, to the point of retoolling much of this facility around capturing and terminating Ultra Beasts, including creating Sivally's kind as speciallized Ultra Beast killers. We have documented seven species of Ultra Beast, as well as one closely related species...

Cosmog is an Ultra Beast-like lifeform which can evolve into Cosmoem and then Solgaleo and Lunala, two of the the patron Legendaries of Alola. It's theorized Cosmog has some form of gender and that determines its evolution; what is known is that it can open Ultra Wormholes. Now, the Ultra Beasts proper...

-A jellyfishlike creature appears onscreen-

Nhillego, equipped with deadly neurotoxins and an ability to symbiotically latch onto hosts...

Buzzwole, an insectiod Ultra Beast with astonishing physical strength...

Pherosma, another insectoid that trades dueability for speed...

Xurkitree, a creature that channels electricity through its body...

Celsteelia, a life form that flies by jet power...

Kartana, a being with a body sharper than obisidan...

...and Guzzlord. A vicious creature that eats everything it can stuff in its mouth.

Phaz: ...Yeah, theses ones came from the Nihilego Forest. I'm not sure if they are safe thought. There may be venom on them, since I got them after the Nihilego polyps hatching. Oh, and by the way, did the crystal really was a polyp?

Æther Scientist: No, it unfortunately wasn't.

Phaz: Why unfortunately? Theses things are dangerous for everyone's metabolism!

Phaz feels tired. He hasn't slept since the morning, and has been walking for almost two hours. No signs of Nihilegos made the trek boring.

Spinme is still the most active of the bunch. No signs of being tired can be read on her face as she looks around, still vigilant.

Suddenly, burn trees can be seen among the bunch.

Phaz: Finally... It should be close...

Æther Ultra Beast Laboratories [after the Ultra Trip]

Phaz: Anyways, that's cool and all, but I should go now. I got Trials to make.

Æther Scientist: Uh, one last thing. Did you make contact with Ultra Beasts that are potentially friendly?

Phaz: Yeah. Oasis and Superfly. A Pheromosa and a Celesteela. They're pretty nice ones.

Æther Scientist: Nice! Have you been able to learn thing from them?

Phaz: Oh, yeah, most of it's on the map, the others on the report.

Æther Scientist: Perfect, perfect. We ran into problems with some Ultra Beasts, you see, and we needed to know if the ones inside are as violent as some of the ones outside.

Phaz: Well, I hypothesized that the Falling activates a fight or flight answer in the head of the Faller, whatever species it might be. I felt really bothered by the travel.

He might be glomped by the nearest Silvally.
