Volta: >... Frederick?

> Does it starts with an F?

-the Sandshrew rolls right under Fuego's jump and crashes into a nearby rock-

Sandshrew♂: <Oof!>

-he then turns to face Fuego once more-

Sandshrew♂: <Enough! Behold, the ultimate power!>

-and holds up a cyan crystal-

Sandshrew♂: <Death to those who oppose me!>

Celeste: <Uh...>

Alyesha maybe would be seen by someone.

Ilima: Now, to activate a Z-Move you need two of these crystals - one for yourself, one for your Pokemon - and a Z-Ring in which to hold your Crystal. You'll also need to perform a pose, as so...

(He demonstrates the Normalium-Z pose, which the author is far too lazy to bother describing here. Just go look it up.)

Ilima: As a note - this is Normalium-Z, so it'll only work with Normal-type moves. Ditto all the others, though there are certain crystals with even more specific requirements.

Sergey yawned and wished away the last ash from his face

Sergey: "Still a bit tired, sorry." ;^_^

Jason:...I should probably head in...I mean, it's been a while...

Shaun: "Don't worry, I won't bother you long. There's three reasons I came here. First of all, I found out where to get a Poke Ride. There's a Transit Center in Hau'oli City. Halu said he'd give me a Tauros Ride Pager. "

Route 1, Sergey's Camp - Past

Sergey gave a thanking nod

Sergey: "Thanks, I'll make sure to visit him then to get my own PokéRide, what's the other two reasons?" :)

Shaun pulled his phone out and flipped it open. "I picked up a new phone, so I thought we could exchange numbers."

Sergey nodded again, getting out his Pokétch only to tilt his head slightly

Sergey: "Err, I seem to have your number already... here's mine though."

He proceeded to tell his number.

Shaun: "That's...odd."

-He inputs Sergey's number-

Shaun: "Third and finally, here."

-He pulls out his Fightingium-Z and gives it to Sergey.-

Route 1, Sergey's Camp - Past

Sergey carefully tok it

Sergey: "E-Err, thank you!" :) "B-But what's it for?"

Shaun: "It's a Z-Crystal. Apparently it allows your Pokemon to use Z-Moves, which are super powerful. None of my Pokemon are Fighting-type, and that's a Fightingium-Z. Now, you don't have a Z-Ring, so you can't use it yet, but I figure he-"

-Shaun points at Magnus.-

Shaun: "-will get more use out of it then I will."

Route 1, Sergey's Camp - Past

Sergey put the crystal in one of his pockets, bowing slightly

Sergey: "Thanks again." :) "I'll try to get a Z-Ring then."

Heatmor: <Honestly... most of those don't really click for me. Just Flare and Flint. ...Maybe Flash and Flavor, but not as much.>

<I think I do like Flaretongue more than any of them, though.>

Iki Town — Yesterday

-The Machop crosses her arms upon seeing Nora.-

Machop: <Wow. Didn't expect to see someone so puny here.>

Nora: <Hey, I'm not that puny! I just haven't evolved yet! This takes time, you know.>

Machop: <Uh-huh. Sure. Whatever you say, pipsqueak.>

-Sparks flicker off of Nora's cheeks out of annoyance.-

Nora: <Now you're just asking for it!>

Rose: Start with Nasty Plot!

-Nora starts coming up with schemes for battle.-

Machop: <Come on, I can take whatever you've got.>

Hala: Low Sweep!

-The Machop sweeps her foot and knocks Nora over.-

Nora: <Oof!>

Machop: <What could a runt like you even do, anyway?>

Nora: <You really wanna know?>

Rose: Thunder Shock!

Nora: <How about this?>

-Sparks fly from her cheeks, and she attacks the Machop with a jolt of electricity.-

-The Machop is rather unimpressed.-

Machop: <...Talk about a letdown.>

-Nora falters as the Machop comes back in for another Low Sweep.-

Nora: <Ow! I-I know I can do better than that!>

-She coats herself in electricity and charges at the Machop.-

Rose: Hey, Nora, wait!

-Again, the Machop is hurt, but not enough. Nora, meanwhile, is looking very weak.-

Machop: <...A for effort, I guess?>

Nora: <...Oh man...>

-The Machop delivers a final swift kick.-

Shaun: "Let me know if you figure out how to get one."

-He streches.-

Shaun: "Well, we need to head out. Probably gonna stay in Hau'oli for the next few days. See ya."

-He whistles, and all of his awake Mons say goodbye to Sergey's Mons and return to their Poke Balls, as does Jasper. Shaun stands up and cradles Lightning in his arms like a baby.-
