Mireille chuckled and gave a light bow as she placed the Pokétch back into Sergey's pocket

Aicha chuckled, holding out some berries

Aicha: <You bet I have.> >:3 <Last time I did this to Sergey he was totally like BLAAAARGH!>

As she said the last word she used Flamethrower to properly show what she meant... said flamethrower hit Sergey totally in the face - it was a rather weak one tho so safe for a rather charred look it didn't do anything as Sergey coughed up a comical sounding 'puff' with a small cloud of smoke.

Magnus gave a nod

Magnus: <Aye, although I try to not hurt my opponents too much even in the heat of battle.>

Mistral: <Yes, that seems good.>

-The screen is dominated by a tall, gaunt man who is obviously trying to put on diplomatic airs but only partially succeeding. Beside him is an short, elderly man whose grey uniform with lavender highlights is accentuated by the botanist's hat he's wearing.-

Dr. Orlandeau: Mr. Laughlin.

-The shorter man tips his hat.-

Maggie: "There were people in one of the J-Team threads talking about how as the J-Team we must've seen everything and it must make more mundane, everyday stuff seem boring."

"I'd like to see them be here."

Thornbite: <Good news is I'm not getting attacked as much as you.>

Maggie: "Why don't you come closer, then?"

-Thornbite is revealed to be a distance away-

Thornbite: <Uh, hehe... if I learned anything from Maleficent, it's to avoid getting too close to danger.>

-Basically he's saying that some questions about being associated with criminals came up.-

Culverton: Oh, you don't need to worry about that. My wife and her team have us all but legally watertight.

Laughlin: "Culverton's indeed correct. Our legal team has served us well the times we've needed to use it for such means."

-Winifred signs something to her interpreter-

-The interpreter chuckles, but doesn't translate-

-It's difficult to tell under his hat, but the short man's eyes sparkle with mirth for a moment.-

Dr. Orlandeau: Ah, yes. The Blakes. My apologies, I was not aware that your cooperation would be so close.

-In other words someone in intel is getting a talking to.-

Dr. Orlandeau: Aside from that, there is the discussion of the lending of specialists to your horticultural endeavors. I would like to iron out that detail before we go much farther, as manpower is presently stretched thin as we build a foothold.

-Basically he knows you want his gardener to help with improving crop yields, and just needs to know when and for how long.-

Ultra Space [Day 0]

The mapping starts well.

Move 20m, pause to note the height and type of terrain. Photo of the place. Move.

Occasionally find new things. A bit of crystal. Some kind of leave. A vine. A mushroom.

Nothing really interesting. Not even the feel of being watched, or something like this. Sometimes, a suspect place. No contact with Ultra Beast whasoever. Mapped 400m^2.

Phaz leans back on the chair. He has mapped with Soujin until he felt tired, at which point he suggested they should go back.

At the outpost's clock, it's 20:00.

Phaz: ...

He's looking at Volta and Embry. The trip has tired both of them. While Embry is sleeping aside of him, Volta is reading the book that was on the table.

Phaz: ...What are you reading, Volta?

Volta: > It's tips for thoses who come here.

> For example, it says that you should lock the door while sleeping, but still have someone stay up to prevent some Ultra Beast to sneak up on the outside material and eat it.

Phaz: ...That's a pain. Can I have it?

Volta: >Yeah, sure.

He hands the book to Phaz.

Phaz: Okay.

He starts reading.

Book: -Welcome to a whole new Dimention! If you're here, either you were voluntary for this, either you broke one of the President's toys. Now, Ultra Space is an unknown territory, so apply a different protocol:-

-First thing first, always check the material. Especially the medical supplies. Having a Pokemon faint isn't a big deal in your usual trip, but here it's kind of. Take some meds with you, they're here for that.-

-Second, check the surroundings. It's dumb, but some Ultra Beast could sneak up on you any time. Which leads to...-

-The third thing: don't fight them. They are really though. More than your usual Pokémon. Adopt a flight or fight strategy.-

-To adopt a viable strategy against them if you are forced to fight them, check the species that we found on the outpost's computer. Note that this is only observations, noone did fight thoses, theses datas are theorical.-

-Fourth thing: don't leave the material alone. Or at least close the door of the outpost when you leave. You don't want a Nihilego in this room. They're a pain to get out. Guard the post when someone's sleeping. Don't leave something as just a noise. Pheromosas are fast and dangerous, and they sneak up pretty well. Just be sure not to have one on the roof.-

-Fifth thing: Don't split up. If you're always by pairs it's for a reason.-

Phaz: ...Soujin? This book say we should take guard. You want to be first, or I do it first?

Laughlin: "Indeed, as OranOS said."

-to the Woman- "Indeed we are. Best Berry. Where we aim to provide our customers with the 'berry' best."

Soujin: "I can take the first shift, sure."

Ten Carat Hill

-It was a tough climb. A few days of prep and acquiring the proper gear and getting it through customs was tough, he had to set /Duck/ to spoof a Hiker trainer ID and then look up how to use it, pace himself... But now he was halfway there. Well, quarter really. He was near the top of the outside of what he was pretty sure used to be a volcano and if the satellite maps were right he'd just need to rappel down the inside of what used to be the caldera, find one of this frickin' rockdogs willing to travel with him, climb back up a free-hanging rope and safely descend the hillside all before morning-

"Oh we can't let outsiders in unless they're doing the Island Trials. Not because it's the site of a Trial, just because frig letting trainers uninterested in the runaround train the local wildlife even if all evidence shows they're more than capable trainers..."

-One last pull up the handholds...-

Trial Attendant: ... ... ...

-The attendant was standing there on the flat just before the hole leading into the caldera, a Charizard just casually chilling next to him in it's Ride gear-

Trial Attendant: Good climb?

... ... ... Fine! Fine! I'll go do the fricking Trials...

-The attendant shrugs and yawns a little. It was late into his shift-

Trial Attendant: Alright.

-With a grumble, Pent begins the climb back down. One of these days, he was going to get a Rockruff, and then that blasted attendant will see-

-Ruby sits in peaceful, blissful silence.-

Jess took the berries gratefully and let out a small giggle. < Thanks, Aicha. I'm just gonna lay here for a bit...> She held one of the berries near her mouth and nibbled on it.

Tsunami: <I hold back too, unless I'm really angry. I like to prove myself, lest something happen like earlier today.>

-Ace absentmindedly preens his feathers.-

Woman: All right then. I hope they have more to offer us than that pun.

Ultra Space, Æther Outpost [Day 0, 20:00]

Phaz: Kay' then. *yawn* How about 4 hour shifts? I went ahead and have taken an alarm clock, so you won't have to wake me up... unless it's about a problem.

(Ilima's voice drifts over from the mouth of the cave.)

Ilima: Excellent work! Just one more and you can move on to the Totem Pokemon!

Phaz crashes into the nearest bed, the alarm clock already on.

He's already fast asleep.

Meanwhile, Volta is looking at the computer.
