-Ren and Verax withdraw their Personas.-

Mendel and Archimedes: ONE!

-There is a massive FWEEE! and the group in disappears in flash of blue light.-

-Dune and Galvani are teleported - they're used to this kind of teleportation, since it's pretty similar to Selene's odd wuh-thoomping.-

CU, Midnight Stage, Past

-Lane dismisses Ikusa and prepares to warp-

-Jason waves to the Ludmilla-

-Joseph glides into the scene. He hasn't glided much as of late, considering how inconsistent his emotions have been, but he appears to be in the best mood he's been in as of late-

Joseph: Oh Arceus isn't this beautiful? :D

-an oddly-patterned Vivillon flits behind him, and a small Zorua looks around curiously-

-Siobhan's plane lands.-

Siobhan: "We leave in the evening and arrive in the morning. Goddamn round planet."

-She is now wandering around Hao'oli and available for interaction.-

Scarlette: Right, well, he should be this way, probably.

-She leads the group, which is now much larger than she expected, to Hala's hut. Gus quickly notices his companion headed off.-

Gus: <Um hi nice to meet you but we're going now unless you want to come along or something>

-And he quickly races back over to Scarlette.-

The Cathedral

-Vierr is sitting at the edge of the cliff over the Nexus, focusing.-

-Ludmilla absent-mindedly follows the group towards the hut.-

-The "hut" is more like a [Norse] longhouse, being a well-constructed hall with a seat at the end.-

Hala: Hm? What do we have here?

-He stands up and goes down the steps of his dias.-

Hala: My, such a big group this time around!

-Joseph cheerfully waves-

Joseph: Hi! We'd be bigger but my boyfriend has to take care of some things.

Soujin: "Uh, hey. Are you the Kahuna?"

-Tori and King hop out of the teleporter connected to the Egg corridor, only to find it's changed significantly in the unknown amount of time from Tori's last visit. In short, it's a mess. It looks like someone either set off a series of explosions all along the hallway and all the buildings. Or maybe that the entire cavern suffered from a massive localized earthquake. Most if not all of the mon around previously seem to be gone-

-Where once there were large egg set for incubation, now there are just eggshells. and further on... The corpses of Salamance-

-Except they lurch to their feet as the duo tries to pass, and start breathing fire-

-Tori and King are forced to fight their way past them, as well as a few Ghastly roaming the hall. But finally they make their way through to where "Blitz" waits with the only surviving Salamance from the eggs in the corridor. He shows them a secret passage outside-

-It turns out, the cave wasn't very far under ground at all-

-In fact, they are standing on a rocky ledge of a flying mountain-

-"Blitz" offers to take Tori and King to the surface, but is unsurprised when they refuse. Even when he points out that the only way to get to where the doctor is now is an intimidating climb up quite a lot of cliff-

I'd like to thank Dune, Verax, Crow, Sky, and Daydre for helping me make these next two posts. Give them a big hand, as I can tell this was a stuggle for them to get done.

The Realm of Mikuratana-no-Kami, Past

-As the light from the Teleport fades; the Contractors will see that are standing the vastness of space, though they all can still breathe and move normally. Everything seems to be clearer while wearing their anti-Fog lenses without the Fog that normally infests the Collective Unconsciousness. Then Lane takes note on what the group is standing on...-

Lane: Wait. Is this thing we're on... a Persona? [.]_[.]

-Ren, Daydre, SleepyHead, Dune, Galvani, Verax, and Lane see they are standing center stage of the main area of a giant stage with round, glowing blue tiles with black trim that pulsates with pink light. The others are standing on a semi-transparent, glass-like platform beneath the main stage. The ones on the lower platform can look up and see through the stage above them like looking through tinted glass, although the ones on the main stage can't see down through the dimly glowing tiles. After a few moments of observations, everyone will recognize the colors, shapes, and the sensation of an aura of warm support will lead to the realization they are standing on the altered form of Archimedes.-

Ren: Well... That was... This thing is huge... ._.

Mendel: ~That’s likely because of all the extra energy the backstage crew is helping pour into Archimedes.~

-Then an immense presence is felt from behind those on the Persona stage.-

SleepyHead: <I've... got a not-so good feeling right about now.>

-As the performers turn to look, a thing the size of two stadiums dominates their line of sight... A being that is horrific fusion of Muk and Spiritomb, with a black sludge body with multiple faces protruding out of the body. Two massive arms are raised upwards as if to hold up the statue the group saw the last trip floating in the air above it. On the wrists are two magatama with colossal shimenawa that seemingly come out from within the beads and connect into the very emptiness of space. The form of Mikuratana-no-Kami is so gigantic it goes far beyond the performers' fields of vision. If it were to swing down even one of its massive arms, it would crush all the Contractors and even the persona stage.-

Daydre: Oh, that's... pleasant.

Verax: For once, I’m thankful that a battle won’t be one of brute force.

Lisa: <And that I won't be getting my claws dirty for this.>

-Then it speaks. It’s voice is comprised of so many different voices overlapping with each other it is impossible to determine the gender of the primary voice or even if there is a primary voice.-

Mikuratana-no-Kami: What foolishness... Though you are not but children of flesh, you dare step into my realm and bring me quarrel... You poisons know not your place...

SleepyHead: <I mean... it's not exactly like I want to bring quarrel. It feels like it follows me wherever I go, honestly.>

Galvani: <Are you kidding? I am MADE of quarrel! I argue with myself all the time!>

Positron: <No we don't!>

Galvani: <Shut up!>

Daydre: Anyone would quarrel if you started kidnapping their friends...

Verax: -glaring from behind his visor as he cracks his knuckles-

Lane: You took Hugo from me...of course I'd fight to get him back!

Ren: -dryly- You know you could just give up and release everyone and then disperse yourself. It would save everyone a whole lot of trouble.

Mikuratana-no-Kami: -chuckles derisively at the responses- I am the bonds of all sentient life made manifest. Nothing you do or say can reach me. BE BOUND AND DANCE FOR ALL ETERNITY!

-Mikuratana-no-Kami roars, and her distorted song echoes all around the Contractors.-

Dune: Oh god, who left this playlist on repeat?

Ren: -wincing- Well, that was expected... Time for this act’s finale... IT'S SHOW TIME EVERYONE!

-Ren signals for everyone to take their positions as he heads for his.-

-Beneath the Persona stage, Mendel, connected with the other contractors, uses Pythagoras to relay spacial calculations and adjustments to crew providing the effects and helping maintain the stage.-

Mendel: ~Just like we rehearsed, everyone!~

And break here for pacing and to allow the backstage crew to react. My next post will be the big dance number!
