-Doomsday taps her toes and heads outside.-
Doomsday: <Might as well take care of this myself.>
-Ludmilla jumps at the impossibly loud thunderstrike right next to the house.-

-The door slams open.-
-There's a slight shuffling.-
-The door slams closed.-
-Doomsday, covered in soot, sparks, and twitches, walks past the family room towards the kitchen.-
Ludmilla: Uh, Doom-

Short version: We need a babysitter for Ludmilla this Saturday night.
Long version: Okay so, Ludmilla needs an education. Unfortunately, due to the circumstances regarding her past, we're not exactly trusting of any government-associated institutions. Now normally going for a home education permit is pretty easy in Orre. HOWEVER, due to the legal issues in Sinnoh regarding Ludmilla's citizenship, we're going to have to go to a meeting with some government official types to make sure we're given a fair shake for our evaluation, which is a bit more against us than you would think - neither of us have college degrees, and I have a... record. We're hoping we can leverage our participation in the Orre Campaign (we're just calling it that to make it sound official) to try and get the permit THAT way, but you know. Politics. Anywho, we can't find Selene, so we need someone to cover for us Saturday night. Now, we know Ludmilla is more of a preteen than a kid, but she has some... habits that we'd rather have her watched for.

Wow, that sounds like quite the hassle =/
But I worked on a daycare watching people's pokemon, Ludmillia shouldn't be that hard unless she's afraid of weremon or something. And you're in Orre, right? I was considering being in the area with Jason anyway, so I might be around town Saturday.
What kind of habits are you talking about though? Or is that one of those 'better explained in person' things?

Wow, we got a surprising number of responses.
Tell you what, you show up Saturday night, you can all do whatever you like so long as you don't mess with any of Deziree's inventions. Movie night, game night, scavenger hunt, whatever.
Just make sure you keep an eye on Ludmilla when dinner time rolls around. She still has a... habit of getting a bit aggressive regarding food.
So I've been doing condensed plot posts to make up for lost time, but also because there's a lot of scenes I wasn't quite sure how I wanted to portray that lead to some of the scenes I really wanted to write out. And here's one I've been looking forward to actually doing
-After more wandering and a battle with a vertical X-shaped tank piloted by a Skitty, Tori finally reaches what appears to be the end of the labrynth. A room with a large boulder wrapped in a rope with zig-zagged paper shide charms hanging from it-
-Just as it's becoming apparent there's literally nothing else in the room, "Lane" come in-
Tori: "Hey, you're back on your feet already?"
Lane: "Yeah. Doc Gero works fast when he has the supplies"
Tori: "That's great! Except, it looks like we were wrong. There isn't a way out here"
=/
Lane: "Well, actually... That's why I'm here."
-He goes over to the boulder-
"Doc said, we just gotta move this rock and there should be a path, come on"
-Tori nods and moves over to the other side. But unsurprisingly they're unable to even budge the boulder-
Tori: "Aaaugh, this is 'way'' too heavy"
<Huzzah!>
-Suddenly an Aggron leaps into the room-
Stark: <Found you at last! You can't get away that easily>
Tori: "Stark! You've got perfect timing! Can you help move this rock?"
Stark: <Huh? Oh, yeah sure>
-The three of them get into position to try lifting the rock again-
-Beat-
<Hey! You're not even listening to me!!>
-Stark turns suddenly, stunning "Lane" by whacking him against a wall with his tail in the process-
Tori: "Tch, so much for handling this peacefully for once"
-Tori dives out of the way of a thrown rock and pulls out her Polar Star as she rolls to her knees to fire off a few shots-
Stark: <Why won't you stay still?!>
-Stark leaps high over Tori to land on the other side of room and throw more high velocity rocks as she starts dashing out of the way-
Tori: "Gee, I'm sorry the fact I have to save my friends is inconvenient to you"
-Stark is blasted a few more times as he rears back and punches the ground to create shake the room, causing Tori to trip-
Stark: <Hah!>
-He charges! But slams into the wall when Tori regains her footing and dives out of the way at the last second, her shield deflecting the brunt of the impact of one of the rocks that fell from Stark's collision-
Tori: "Ngh"
-She gets a few more blasts in before Stark shakes the dizzyness off, turns, and strikes a pose by throwing his arms up in a "x"-
Stark: <Autotomize!>
-Tori shields her eyes from a sudden flash of light is accompanied by several heavy thuds-
-When the light has cleared Stark is noticeably slimmer, and bending over to grab one of the metal plates that was shed from his body to fling discus style at Tori-
-Slightly blinded by the lightshow, Tori doesn't quite dodge the projectile and it bounces off the shielding around her arm before another plate embeds itself in the floor where her feet were just moments ago-
Tori: "Ah- Geeze, you're serious this time, aren't you?"
Stark: <Hah! I haven't had to pull this out in a while!>
-Stark throws another plate as he rushes Tori, forcing her to abandon her attempt at aiming and dodge again, only to be batted aside by Stark's tail before she lands near the still prone Lane-
Tori: "Oof!"
-A warning light flashes on the belt buckle shielding device Tori's been wearing since she arrived in the cave as she pushes herself up, and notices where she's landed-
"Hah... Guess I'm gonna have to try something else then..."
-Tori flings the heal ball Lane dropped when he landed, and out pops an albino buneary in a purple robe holding a sword-
Tori: "King! You up to helping out?"
King: <What? I'm...>
-It takes all of a moment for King to look around the room and spot Stark-
<You!>
Stark: <Wuh? I thought you were-!>
-King lets out a yell and leaps after Stark brandishing the sword. Stark jumps away before he can land-
<Hah! Dunno what you think you're gonn- arg!>
-Stark covers his head with his arms as Tori starts firing on him, then growls as he turns to charge Tori again-
-King leaps in and lands a slash across Stark's Autotomized back. Stark shouts and turns to deliver a backhanded blow to King before grabbing a rock to throw at Tori, but she's no longer there-
-Tori opens fire again, getting a clean shot at the Aggron's face as he turns in her new direction-
Tori: "King, you okay?"
King: <Hah... Yeah, not gonna go down that easily this time!>
-Tori jumps out of the way of another flying rock as Stark turns to try and whip King with his tail as the buneary comes close, but King slips under the appendage and knocks Stark's legs out from under him with a low kick, sending the mon to his knees-
Stark: <Gah! You... Hah...>
-He pounds the ground as both human and pokemon level their weapons at him-
<Haha... Alright. you win!>
-Despite the injuries, Stark actually lets out a laugh, earning a confused look from the others-
<Didn't think you two would give me that kind of trouble! Phew...>
Tori: "...What?"
Stark: <Hah... The Doctor said I had to fight you. He didn't say I needed to kill myself doing it... Heheh. If you keep this up I'll be toast. It was a good fight!>
-Stark grins-

Mezzo: And then it wore off, and I was stranded on the summit of Mt. Coronet with nothing but the clothes on my back.

Mezzo: Yeah, so I walked to Snowpoint and then I had to swim over to here since this is apparently where everyone who's not my useless brother is.
