-He steeples his hands in front of his mouth, then lowers his hands to point at Dezi- "Dune. There is a room reserved for you in the Center. Please. Just. Do something to her so she doesn't kill us or explode out of stress?"

-He looks at Sholto- "... Alright keep thinking about that, tell me if you think of any examples or build on to it."

-He waves to the Armarin, then looks at Siobhan and Zhi Shen Lung- "Possibly. If it is conductive, I have done nothing to figure out. It seems metallic but that doesn't answer that question necessarily."

-He nods to Blitz- "Right. And I tried to burn it when I ran into it, but it completely shrugged that off. But right, my working theory is that, essentially. It can't be killed by bug bites, and any damage it sustains capable of hurting it are reduced to scratches."

"If there is no way to win, I will simply force a way."

"Hmm, would an EMP work? Or we could dump hot slag on it, wait for it to cool down then dump it in the ocean."

Have we tried attacks that ignore Defenses, like Chip Away? The damage has to be continuous, at least enough so that we can strike at its vitals without simply getting healed away.

I'm pretty sure Zrone would've EMP shielded it, but luckily Boyleland's not too far away if we try the volcano approach. Zrone would probably "appreciate" the irony.

-He thinks for a moment- "Though we all seem to think it's worth a shot. And technically Boyleland is in Almia."

Shinobi: -Blushes at the implications of Dunerie shinanigans, but tries to ignore that in favor of nodding to acknowledge the Amarin's presence-

<Knowing Zrone, it definitely doesn't follow the rules. Dumping it in the volcano might help, but I doubt it'd be as easy as teleporting it over a pit of lava>

Scheherezade: "I don't think this "Zrone" would have programmed in a suicidal impulse to his robot."

Cassandra: ~Turn the Wheel of Time. The Wheel which turns. The Wheel turns on. The Wheel returns.~

-The humanoid figure slashes at Balthazar with the sword. He raises his shield to King’s Shield it, but the sword goes right through, slamming into him.-

Balthazar: <Grah! Well, so much for that plan.>

Ashen: ! <Distract... that thing. What if the wheel she’s talking about is the physical wheel behind her?>

-She loads her crossbow, and fires it at the machinery behind Cassandra. About 3 meters from it, the bolt simply stops in mid-air, then crumbles to dust.-

Ashen: -gulp.- <Well, Duskenstein wasn't kidding about her power.>

Cassandra: -Stares at Ashen.- ~Stop the Wheel. The Wheel cannot be stopped. Time revolves, ever turning, ever returning.    IT EMBODIES ALL!   ~

-With that last Psychic screech, the entire room shifts. No longer some sort of twisted reflection of the grand hall, instead they find themselves on a grassy cliff, in the middle of a forest. Cassandra floats lazily a ways off the cliff, the engraved butterfly wings now actual golden-lined butterfly wings on her back. It is night, and the moon is full. The same wheel, though now fancier, turns behind her.-

Robin: <Where… are we?>

-Ashen shakes her head.-

Ashen: <No idea.>

Archimedes: <I would guess a psychic projection of Cassandra's>

-Duskenstein's voice comes from seemingly nowhere.-

Loudspeaker: <Uh, you guys didn't move.>

Ashen -feels around, finding a pile of rubble.- <He's right. We didn't.>

Robin: <That's fucked up.>

Cassandra: ~The Mother of Light burns, the wheel turns. There is no end. It spins, it turns, it returns. The wise should have been wiser. The Light blinds, the Light finds.~

Ashen: <Is it just me or is her insane raving getting creepier and creepier?>

Argent: <Definitely not just you.>

-The humanoid suddenly slashes at Archimedes, refocusing everyone on the task at hand.-

Archimedes: <Gah, right, you.> -he traps the blade between his arm and his chest, and slams his fist into the humanoid figure, dissipating it. The figure’s blade remains, however.-

Loudspeaker: <Uh, something’s happening, you're being -> The loudspeaker suddenly cuts off.-

Ashen: <That’s not good." -She attempts to lean against where the rubble was, falling to the ground instead.- <That’s really not good at all."

Archimedes: <Well, we’re definitely not in Kansas anymore."

-Cassandra raises her head. Instead of a Gothitelle, she is human. Her eyes are, in fact, there, but completely gold, and glowing.-

Cassandra: <I... Am...    THE DRAGON... REBORN!   "

-The party looks around. All of them are human, too. Balthazar appears as he did in life, and as he projects in death. Archimedes appears as a knight as well, in full plate. Robin appears as a fiery-red haired woman in a long, red robe with a very fancy hat. Ashen appears as a woman with long, steel-grey hair and eyes, a scar on her cheek visible, wearing, well, what she normally does. Argent appears as a woman with bright green hair, in a long, white, rather... revealing dress with silver embroidery.-

Ashen: "Huh. You’re cute, love."

Argent: "Oh, stop it. We have bigger things to worry about."

-Cassandra raises her arm towards the party, and the wheel behind her slowly moves above her, then goes flying at the party. They scatter. It returns to its place, spinning behind her.-

Cassandra: "   AND IN MADNESS I SOON SHALL PREVAIL!   "

-Ashen rolls to the side, and loads her crossbow, firing it at Cassandra. The bolt slams into her, but she doesn’t appear to notice.-

Cassandra: "   TWICE I SHALL LIVE.   " -She sends a bolt of golden energy at Ashen, which hits her in the chest. Argent uses Heal Pulse on her.-

Cassandra: "   AND TWICE I SHALL DIE.   "

-She dives forward, slamming into the ground. The wings fold back behind her. The wheel stays in the same place.-

-Cassandra pulls the sword that the humanoid figure wielded out of seemingly nowhere, wielding a greatsword sized for something twice her height with grace and ease, even in one hand.-

Balthazar: "We only wish to help you!"

Cassandra: -laughs.- "There is no helping me now." -She lunges at Balthazar, attempting to impale him on the sword. He dodges, imposing his shield between the blade and himself.-

Ashen: -pulls a bolt out of her coat, mutters a short prayer, and loads it, sending it flying at the wheel.-

-Upon its impact with the wheel, Cassandra whirls around to look at the wheel.-

-Then the bolt explodes, taking out a decent chunk of the ring of the wheel and a couple of the spokes.-

-Cassandra roars in pain, and rushes at Ashen.-

-Ashen quickly drops her crossbow, and hastily interposes her rapier between the blade and herself.-

-Cassandra pushes Ashen back with a relentless assault, nearly to the cliff edge.-

-Robin fires a blast of flame at the wheel, melting another couple of the spokes and a bit of the ring.

Cassandra: "   AND TWICE SHALL I PAY THE PRICE!   "

-She slams the blade into the ground, shattering the wheel. Pieces of it float down to her, surrounding her, then fuse themselves into her, almost as if armor. The butterfly wings disappear.-

Ashen: "I'm going with 'bad'."

Argent: "Phase two."

Archimedes: "Actually three, probably."

Argent: "Whatever."

-The sword is now more appropriately sized for Cassandra.-

-She extends a hand to Ashen, and Ashen, dropping her sword, flies out over the cliff, grasping at her throat, to where the wheel was.-

Argent: "No!" -Argent picks up Ashen’s dropped crossbow, and loads another bolt, firing it into Cassandra’s back.-

-Cassandra drops Ashen, who reappears on the cliff. She turns to stare at Argent. She starts methodically walking towards her.-

-Argent, hopelessly trying to load another bolt, drops the crossbow, and is picked up by the throat by Cassandra.-

Cassandra: "   I AM THE CHOSEN. THERE IS NO TOMORROW.   "

-Ashen pulls out her smaller crossbow, firing a bolt into Cassandra’s back. Cassandra staggers forward, and drops Argent. Argent gasps for air.-

-Ashen reloads, and fires again.-

-Cassandra takes a step forward.-

-Ashen fires.-

-Cassandra takes another step forward.-

-Ashen fires again.-

-Cassandra takes another step forward.-

-Balthazar cleanly removes her leg with a sword slash, and Archimedes stabs his sword down into the back of her neck.-

-The world goes blank, and everyone reappears back in the main hall.-

-Cassandra looks up at the party, her image flickering between that of a Gothitelle and a human.-

Cassandra: ~The wheel... stops... Thank you.~ -The gold glow fades from her eyes, and she slumps over. The wheel behind her is shattered and mangled.-

-Then the fun starts.-

-The whole word goes loopy.-

-The floor of the main hall collapses, and the party tumbles down into a cavern below.-
