-The Phantom reaches a hand and tries to crush Ren with an Avalanche as the other fires a series of Discharges to wash over the group. Dune orders Siegfried to rush over and slam the outreached fist with a Bulldoze.-

Dune: We aren't outnumbered! We're just in a target rich environment!

-Siegfried's eyes spark as his own sword and claws seem to sharpen with an Audible Gleam.-

CU, Burning Pyrite, Yesterday

-Ren Braces himself as Abe no Seimei seems to change entirely into a reflective substance, taking several Flamethrowers and Flash Cannons from the Black Ravens and reflecting their attacks at double the strength back at the attackers.-

-A pink beam of healing barrel rolls and zigzags through the air as it makes it's way towards Shiva.-

CU, Delta Quadrant, Past

-Ren and Abe no Seimei blink as they are hit by a nerfed, not very effective Avalanche - for the equivalent of being hit in the face of a loosely packed snow ball.-

Ren and Abe no Seimei: -to Blue in a "that was stupid" tone- Seriously?

-But the Discharges force Abe no Seimei to erect a Protect.-

Ren: -once again, to Blue- At least she knows what she's doing!

Desperate Phantom: DAMN YOU ALL! USELESS! If you're going to fall for their childish insults yet AGAIN, then GET OUT OF MY WAY! Not if I destroy them with an Ominous Wind first! Jokes on you, I was already going for that!

-The both of the Phantom's hands raise up, now glowing red. Something clicks in the back of Galvani's mind.-

Galvani: ... <Wait a second. This isn't right.>

Positron: [We can't block that! Everyone, hold on!]

-The entirety of the floating landmass is blasted by the howling, shrieking winds, carrying the smell of death itself upon them.-

Sorry for taking so long to post, been busy doing chores since school has started very recently and we still have to prepare.

==Snowpoint City (Past)==

Once Pent hops on, Bunby the Staraptor smirks before suddenly blasting off at great speed.

Zachary: "Buuunnbyyy!!"

Bunby: <What? I'm going slower just for this ocassion!>

Bunby then rapidly dives towards Lake Verity...

==Lake Verity==

And lands roughly on the ground, causing her to skid out of control and be thrown into the water as Pent and Zachary are thrown off surprisingly safely into the ground near the lake.

Bunby: <....Worth it>

Zachary: "Well, at least we made it to our location, mostly safe and sound, anyhow, do you have any Pokémon?"

While awaiting a response, Zachary hangs a Poffin for Nack in the air, just barely high enough so that he has trouble reaching it, on the other hand, Bunby is just swimming in the lake when suddenly she notices something strange in the bottom of the lake.

Bunby: <...Hm?>

Bunby dives deeper into the water without telling anyone when suddenly she is surrounded by what resembles a bubble made out of psychic energy, preventing her from escaping or being heard as the bubble then takes her to the depths of the lake.

-Also in the "obviously been here the whole time" camp is Mondo, who has Sukuna Hikona firing a Moonblast from it's bow somewhere into the crowd, possibly at a shadow trying to get close to Lane following the Fire Blast-

-Ren and Abe groaned in unision as they were buffeted by the ghastly windstorm. As Ren and Abe no Sei and Ren griped their bodies and the eyes winced with pain, Abe no Seimei's body, clothes, and shaku changed into a reflective substance, like a combination of soild chrome and solid glass made into a new semi-slid substance that absorbed all the damage that Ren and Abe no Seimei took from the attack.-

Ren: Time or a taste of your own medicine...

-As Ren spoke, the obscuric energy coalesced on the reflective surface of Abe no Seimei's body, the energy being refined and strengthen by Abe no Seimei's mystic energies before gathering at the tip of the shaku.-

Abe no Seimei -pointing his shaku at the Phantom- Begone demons...

-The energy burst forth in a stream of pure white energy that had no affinity to any type - it was just a stream pure unbridled pain and hurt.-

-As soon as Abe no Seimei lowered his shaku after realeasing the energy from the Mirror Coat, his form became staticy and shattered like stained glass as Ren fell to the ground.-

Mendel: Mr. Clavis!

-As Pythagoras glided towards Ren's prone form, Mendel will a Heal Pulse at Ren from almost point blank range, rousing the unconscious Contractor, but not restoring his Persona.-

Yeah, the group will survive. I'm worried about... Individuals. I doubt we'll be able to get through this without at least one story ending some way or another...

-Pent rolls his shoulders and cringes a little as he staggers back to his feet-
Labyrinth of lights and life degraded
Aye I do, but I don't particularly use them much. It gets a little... Difficult for me to use them when I'm being like I normally am. If I settle down, maybe take a gym challenge then I'll probably let the ones I have out a bit more. Didn't feel right taking on a challenge like that with current events. Too many bad omens and static in the air for me to be able to relax.

I guess some things never change.
Also a bit of a blocked nose, really can't concentrate on Pokemon battles with a blocked nose.

-The Phantom smiles as the Mirror Coat absorbs the attack.-

Desperate Phantom: Yes, yes... Hehehehe...

-The Phantom opens up down the middle with a sickening sucking sound, and a familiar rusted skeleton is pulled from it with inky black tentacles.-

Dune: The hell?!

-The rusted skeleton takes the reflected attack and screams in agony, thrashing against her bonds as she absorbs the attack like some twisted shield.-

Galvani: <I KNEW IT! You two AREN'T my Shadows! THAT is my Shadow!>

Dune: Wait, what?!

-The Phantom pulls the Rust inside of itself before closing again, the Gengar smiling with shining blue and gold eyes.-

Galvani: <Raijin and Juno were NEVER my Shadows! They were YOURS, weren't they?!>

-The comms are deathly quiet.-

Galvani: <You knew from the beginning! You knew from the START that it was YOUR Shadows, not mine, that was tearing us apart! That's why you can block each of their attacks but not when they work together - they're not using YOUR energy when they attack together, they're using MINE! They're using MY Shadow as FUEL!>

-The sickly green cloud that surround the area begin to grow restless.-

Galvani: <When I had come to my Mindscape before, I actually HAD made peace with my Shadow! But YOU TWO still HAVEN'T! You're using ME and EVERYONE ELSE to CLEAN UP YOUR MESS!>

-The roiling clouds begin to rumble as lightning arcs between the clouds, the thunderhead forming in the distance approaching at a worrying pace.-

-Etran steps off Bacchus.-

Bacchus: <Good to know you can hold on, if nothing else. Now then, I'm tired.>

Etran: Return!

-Etran recalls Bacchus.-

-The combination of attacks ends up wiping away the majority of the swarm, and the remnants scatter-

-As they do, the Ironclad Myrmidon rushes up to the group, wielding a hilariously impractically large claymore, and at this distance it's far larger than it initially appeared, being 8-10 feet tall-

-It bears down on the group, slashing in a wide arc that carves a path through the ground-

-Shiva protects, and is sent skidding back from the impact-

Zachary ponders for a moment, lowering his arm just enough so Nack can finally take a bite of the Poffin.

Zachary: "Yeah, I've met a lot of people who have been attempting the League Challenge recently, I don't know why there's such a surge of them recently but I don't really mind, i've been out of the loop when it comes to battling actually, even if my team is fairly trained up that was mostly a few years back and I stopped due to problems with money and my family, it wasn't until recently that I've been considering becoming a full-on trainer once more, but still haven't gotten a chance to start really, though raising this little bugger is certainly the first step"

Nack: <Don't call me a bugger if you know I can stun you...>

Nack glares at Zachary as he runs off near the lake with the Poffin still hanging from his mouth. Meanwhile, Ghiaccio and Donald are playing around in the depths of the lake until Ghiaccio bumps into...nothing, confused, she cautiously swims around the invisible obstacle but shrugs it off and keeps playing. The invisible obstacle is actually the psychic bubble holding Bunby captive but disguised.

Bunby: <Ghiaaaciioo!! Man, this stinks! Nobody can hear me and nobody can see me! Whoever made this bubble must have some sick psychic abilities...which isn't very good for me!>

Bunby attempts to use Aerial Ace to slice through the bubble but fails as it sinks down to the lakefloor, where a strange distorted voice starts speaking with Bunby telepathically.

???: ~@0W+´2+QA¿W?m— a P Roo Xy Y...f-Fo R mEEE'~

Bunby: <W-What the fu...AGH! WHAT IS THIS!?>

Bunby feels a strange headache and falls unconscious as a strange entity approaches her bubble.

Ren -blinks as the gears pop into place- Of course. That makes so much sense! Magneton are formed when three Magnemite fuse together. Of course the repressed egos of the non-dominant Magnemite would have their own shadows...

-Ren notices the storms reacting to Galvani's anger.-

Ren: -now slightly worried- Is... Is... Is Galvani controlling her dungeon?! That makes sense too now that I think on it - they're connected to our minds after all...

-Daydre joins the "was always here" party!-

".. Ohshit"

-... Just in time to barely dodge getting killed by the slash!-

-The Myrmidon watches all this, it's muscles pulsing with even more power as it seems to slow, and it slams into the ground, creating an earthquake-

-Shiva is struck and only survives due to Sturdy-

Jacob: -His eyes widen and he grips his chest, coughing- "Gnk!!"

-Shiva immediately Magnet Rises-

-Take-Mikazuchi hurls a Bonemerang at it, which slams into its armor, and it looks angrily at the group-

"If there is no way to win, I will simply force a way."

-Only just Suriving Abe no Seimei leaps away as he makes a Wish.-

-A Heal Pulse zips through the air in an odd flight pattern as it heads for the floating Shiva-

-The Phantom raises its arms to blast the group with a second Ominous Wind, red energy swirling around him as the whirlwind builds.-

Galvani: <You two want to know why I am the dominant one?>

-Dune shields his face as the Phantom thrusts its arms forward, sending the black, death-carrying winds at the group.-

-And then.-

-The winds stop.-

Desperate Phantom: ... Uh oh.

Galvani: <I am the leader!>

-Galvani throws a magnet forward, and red lightning reaches into the Phantom's chest.-

Galvani: <I am the superego!>

-The rusted skeleton seen before erupts from the Phantom's chest in a burst of blue, yellow, and red energy.-

Galvani: <I AM IN CONTROL!>

-The rusted skeleton lands in front of Galvani. It takes a moment to stir, pulling itself to its feet while the Phantom not only shrinks in size but cries out in abject agony.-

Rust: You... came back... again...

-Galvani floats closer to her Shadow.-

Galvani: <It's what you wanted me to learn, right? That my own indecision was what was letting us fall apart.>

-The Shadow nods.-

Rust: You feared that which you do not understand, and that's not...

Galvani: <That's just not us, is it?>

-The Shadow nods again. The Phantom, now only human-sized, falls onto the ledge of the landmass.-

Phantom: Y-you... still... have... not...

Galvani: <No.>

-Galvani points at the gestalt Shadow, and red lightning strikes them both.-

Galvani: <I have won. But both you AND your other halves have most certainly lost.>

-Her metallic brow furrows.-

Galvani: <Speaking. Of. Which>

-She points at the ground, and red lightning strikes - two Magnemite appear.-

Galvani: <You two.>

Positron: <EEP!>

Neutron: ...

-The Magnezone points at the writhing mass of yellow and blue on the ground where the Phantom once was.-

Galvani: <Positron. You're spontaneity, inspiration, and honestly incredibly smart and good at reaction puzzles. But you're a pigheaded, overbearing, remorseless and out of control id sometimes. Your disregard for others is dangerous, and that's something you need to work on.>

-Positron fiddles with her magnets.-

Positron: <I... er... Well you see, it was all for sci->

-Galvani's magnets start to spark.-

Positron: <I-I-I mean yes, I will! I promise to work on that and not jettison off all of the bad things about me into one giant hate-cloud! Again!>

-Galvani nods before turning to Neutron.-

Galvani: <Neutron. You're actually a pretty decent logical ego. But your restrictive ideas about how we always end up logically hurting something in the end no matter what is a self-destructive philosophy and is blatantly unnecessary of you to constantly bring to my mind.>

-Neutron merely nods.-

Dune: Wow. And I thought MY Shadow was weird.

Rust: I love you too, dear.

Dune: Okay, not sure if that makes this situation any less awkward.

-The Myrmidon roars as its struck by Seigfried and others, and it rears back, unleashing a Dark Pulse-

-The wave of darkness simply ripples off of Shiva, who is healed, and Take-Mikazuchi dodges it-

-The Myrmidon appears to become even more physically powerful, as it's non-physical power wanes-

-The Abra teleports away as Positron and Neutron turn to their barely-reformed Shadows.-

-The Shadow looks down at himself before sighing.-

Positron: <C'mon. Let's get our shit back together.>

-Neutron goes to her Shadow, who is trying to make herself taller with a rapidly melting pillar of ice.-

Neutron: <Juno.>

Juno: We have to... protect them... save them from... themselves...

Neutron: <That is not necessary.>

Juno: But... but look at them! Remember the Skarmory nest?!

Dune: Hey, we made it out fine!

Neutron: <Exactly. We demean them and condescend to them when, in reality, they're all grown up. We need to stop underestimating them.>

Juno: I... I just don't want...

Neutron: <I know.>

-The two slag-heaps of Shadows and Rust begin to shine. Rust takes the form of a Yurlungur - Deziree's actual Yurlungur, not the replacement. The copper snake coils itself in a red ring, and the blue and yellow Shadows shoot up into it. With a burst of light, a Magneton is revealed.-
