Ray: ... (sighs) ... I'm sorry I didn't tell the truth before... Like I said, I... I wasn't sure if you'd understand... (looks down) Linnéa and I are always together... Linnéa is asleep at the moment, though... That's why I'm able to tell you this... Linnéa truly believes me to be a real person, that I was always real to begin with... She doesn't even seem to realize that we don't have separate bodies, that we both exist within her mind, that we share her body... (looks away) Or... maybe she does realize, but... she simply refuses to accept that...

- Ray sighs and shakes his head -

Ray: There are times when I wonder... Is this really okay? Is her pain... the only reason I exist? Am I truly able to protect Linnéa, or am I only making things worse? Even if that's the case, I... I don't want to disappear...

-Tomohawk is struck by a glancing blow of the powerful attack and crashes to the ground, but is swiftly recalled to his ball as the barrier goes up-

F!Blitz: "Efreet!"

-She stops herself from speaking further when she notices the shaking-

"-Fine. We'll take care of-"

-Blitz is interrupted the a sudden 'thoomp' noise coming from her bag, and turns to see a silver metal ball flying at Undine that explodes into a thick, extremely sticky white foam when it strikes whatever it actually hits-

-Even more surprising is the miniature canon looking thing sticking out of the corner of her bag, which launches a pokeball just gently enough to have Mondo appear next to the group before the canon wobbles and reforms into a blue Ditto-

-Alyssa is quiet for a few more moments, before finally speaking up again-

Alyssa: So... you're in the same body but she doesn't know you're in the same body? Is that it?

Pastoria

Ray: (nods) Something like that... Like I said, it's complicated...

Pastoria

-Alyssa smiles-

Alyssa: Well, at least everything else makes more sense now! Sort of. A bit.

Pastoria

Ray: (seems a bit surprised by this) ... I'm glad you understand.

Pastoria

Alyssa: Well, I still sorta don't understand, but I will still try to!

-She offers Ray a hug. Sarah smiles.-

Sarah: I told you she'd support you. I mean, she does talk a lot about how you two and Echo herself were her only real friends in Illusion.

Alyssa: Especially you two!

Ray: ... (smiles and hugs Alyssa) Thank you.

Lucius is wandering through town, musing idly to himself.

Lucius: Y'know, maybe I should try online dating. It's not as if it could go any worse than my last few relat-

Suddenly, Maul appears in front of him with a blip, wearing a trainer's cap and levitating a large rock painted to look like a Safari Ball.

Lucius: ...Oh no. Not this again.

Maul: ~It's okay. I found squishy rocks.~

Lucius: If you throw that rock, Maul, I swear to Arceus I will-

Maul telekinetically hurls the rock at Lucius... only for it to splatter against his face with a wet squelch.

Lucius: ...Huh?

The "rock" changes colour from green to pink and reforms itself into a Ditto.

Ditto: <Do you mind? Dashed rude, getting up in someone's face like that. The nerve of some people these days...>

It falls to the ground and slinks away.

Maul: ~See? Squishy.~

Lucius: ...Why am I stuck with you.

Maul: ~Popular demand.~

-A voice calls back up.-

Deziree: Is it about physics, or math?

-Dune is presumably still being shaken.-

Dune: Neither! Parents and marriage!

Deziree: *Gasp!* Does that mean that Arika and Chrome are FINALLY doing the long walk up the aisle? Oh, wait, parents? Oh yeah, Dune's not gonna be a whole lot of help with any parents one could call "sane".

Pastoria City

-Thoomp!-

-Undine is bound by bubbles!-

Jason:That was-

-Ding!-

Shit! Please work!

-He grips an Ultra Ball, charges it, then throws it-

-S-BOM!-

-And throws the entirety of his false hand with it-

-The energy snatch palm comes out and snares Undine, pulling her in-

-Three wobbles...-

-...click.-

-The shadow aura disappears from the sky and Volt exits Jason's arm-

-Jason pants-

Jason:Urf...ow...

-Efreet shifts slightly-

-Beat-

-Jason recalls all but Efreet and whistles Zero to his shoulder-

-Then grabs Blitz's collar-

You, me, talk.

GM House, past

Arika: Yes we are! And yes, that's why I need your help.

Pastoria

Mireille: <Oldale Town, what about you guys?>

Pastoria City

-Alyssa beams and hugs Ray tightly, once again briefly lifting him off the ground-

Alyssa: Anything for you two!

-Blitz blinks as the shadowed mon is bound and captured, and then looks at the ditto that just plopped on the ground and smirks back at her, and then at Jason-

F!Blitz: "Well, that was somethi-"

-She's interrupted by the collar grab and probably impending dragging to elsewhere-

"Um"

Sir Gerald: Everyone seems to be from Orre, save for Johhny, who's from Unova, and myself. I used to live a hermit's life in Mt. Coronet. After long years scrounging together an existence and narrowly avoiding being captured, I had decided to travel with Tex after he helped me get my Dawn Stone.

-He begins tapping his foot-

By now Magnus had walked to the others, he had one fist clenched, as he walked directly to Gerald... only to hold it out with a smile, offering a fistbump

Magnus: <That was a fun match Gerald. Finally something resembling challenge... although the outcome was already clear from the beginning.>

Mireille had to giggle

Mireille: (to Gerald) ~*Chuckle* please don't take that personally, that's just his way of telling you that he greatly enjoyed the match. He think's you're a great opponent, trust me, he may sound a bit cocky, but he doesn't mean it that way.~

-Mondo watches in confusion as Blitz is dragged swiftly off-screen-

-Then looks at the shiny ditto-

Mondo: <...Where'd you come from?>

Ditto: <Around~>

-It follows the two humans, while Mondo just shakes his head before deciding he'd better go too-

-Whether Belinda follows or not, Blitz ends up sitting on the floor post drag-

-The ditto tries to morph into a piece of furniture while the others are distracted, but is interrupted by a Pichu booping mid-morph and goes back to normal instead-

F!Blitz: "Uh, I was just wondering the same thing! Why don't you ask the ditto?"

-She chuckles nervously-

Ditto: <Oy, they've been in your bag this whole time, why ask me?>

-It gives a wobbly blobshrug-

<I mean, I can understand avoiding the knives, but those bubble things are handy! So why not use them?>

-Dune rubs the back of his head and gives a sheepish laugh.-
