-Gerald was expecting that, and blocked again, taking less damage than he normally would have-

Tex: Get some distance and use Shadow Ball!

-Gerald jumps back and shoots dark orbs from his hands in midair-

Pastoria City

-Sarah blinks, then sweatdrops-

Sarah: ...Uh... yes. We, uh... we did. I-I'm sure it won't happen for you two, though, if you're looking out for her and all! Y-y'know, when you get separated and... uh...

-Alyssa tilts her head, looking exceptionally confused-

Alyssa: What?

-Sarah pauses, gives Ray an apologetic look, and decides to shut up before she accidentally says anything else-

Magnus could evade a few but also was hit by some of the balls leaving him at about 1/4 life

Sergey: "Okay, we'll have to risk it, Drain Punch... full force lie everything you have into that one!"

Magnus wished some sweat from his face as his fists started to glow. He ran as fast as he could to Gerald, intending to punch him with what strength he had left.

-The attack strikes Gerald, and he is unceremoniously thrown to the ground-

Tex: Gerald, retreat. Looks like Magnus wins this round. Scout, you're up.

Scout: <Time to knock some of this rust off.>

Ray: (blinks a few times, looking a bit concerned) Ah... I s-see... (coughs) So, um... I assume you want to find this Croagunk in hopes of... undoing what it undid?

Anyone else having trouble with chat?

Pastoria

Seeing that even with the Drain Punch Magnus was still not too energized he shook his head

Sergey: "Magnus, come back for now, Mireille, take over for him."

Magnus stepped back... only hesitantly though

Magnus: <Aww... come on... I just started to have fun.>

Mireille gave him a push out of the field

Mireille: <Bad Magnus, you'll rest now>

Pastoria City

Sarah: Honestly, I don't know what I'm going to do when I catch him, other than try to get the glitch out of it. I mean, one part of me doesn't feel any different, and yet the other... is actually kinda relieved. He, uh, I, was feeling kinda lost and purposeless after we got split and... uh, yeah, anyway, I might try to undo, I might leave it, I've got no idea.

-Alyssa has just sorta gone quiet, completely confused about what Sarah said earlier-

Pastoria

Ray: Ah... Well, that's... uh... I... I hope you figure out what to do with... that. (glances over at Alyssa, noticing her confusion, thinking to himself) Does she suspect...? She might, considering... I know I should just tell her, but... how?

Pastoria City

Sarah: Yeah, I'll... figure something out. Yeah.

-She falls quiet. After a few seconds of awkward silence, Alyssa clears her throat-

Alyssa: ...Ummm... question?

Mireille chuckled

Mireille: <Would you hit a young lady?>

She also assumed a battle ready position

Mireille: <I'm not going to hit you~>

-Scout prepares to dodge oncoming projectiles-

Scout: <So who moves first?>

Pastoria

Deciding she had waited long enough Mireille smiled

Mireille: ~I have a plan... trust me.~

She telepathically said on their private... channel for lack of a better word.

She casually walked towards Scout before suddenly leaning forwards to give him a Draining Kiss hoping for the moment of surprise.

-Scout nonchalantly steps aside and avoids it-

Scout: <Sorry, miss, you ain't my type.>

Tex: Retaliate.

-Scout shoots a pillar of flame from his mouth at point-blank range-

Mireille was scorched, taking the damage but chuckling

Mireille: <Nothing personal, but that goes for me too, my type is currently sitting aside.>

Sergey: "Use Psychic then."

That indeed she did as her eyes glowed in blue as she was trying to lift scout into the air to crash him down onto the ground again.

-Scout floats into the air, and crashes into the ground-

Scout: <Oof!>

-He gets up and shakes it off-

Scout: <At least you don't do that like Bulldozer>

Tex: "Iron Tail!"

-Scout's tail turns to reflective chrome, as he charges toward Mireille and attempts to perform a midair flip, with an overhead tail slam.-

Pastoria

Mireille instinctively used Telekinesis to try to stop Scout midair, should she not be able to succeed he would hit her full force.

-Though she succeeds in holding him in the air, she only slightly slows his momentum. The attack hits.-

Mireille took the hit, going on a bit over half health, now that she was at point blanc she quickly leaned into Scout to try to fill her life up with another Draining Kiss

-Scout is affected by the attack, and he shudders. The attack was cold as ice, and it felt like he was losing his very soul-

Tex: Repay her with an Iron Head!

-Although hard to notice, Scout's head gains an ironlike quality. He prepares to unleash a nasty headbutt.-

Ray: (looks over at Alyssa) Um... Yes? What is it?

-The look on Alyssa's face is one of sheer, total bewilderment. She doesn't have a clue.-

Alyssa: Um... I'm totally confused. If— if you're trying to protect Linnea, why would you want to be separate from her? Isn't it easier if you're close to her? Am I... am I wrong about what you mean by "separate"? Human words are so confusing...
