They cleary meant what they said... athough they sure seemed more in for a game than a fight.

-Etran sends out Eggshell, his Mandibuzz. Eggshell flies around looking for the cause of the breathing.-

Siku: <Glad you're ready. Maybe I'll battle you three if it turns out to be nothing.>

Forte: Well if you want to go back to your home universe, why not try the Entralink? It's got portals to lots of other places.

(Even if they don't notice a Delphox in a red, maniacally grinning mask lurking around the side of the Pokemart, the searchers should still hear a psychically transmitted voice - high, hoarse and rasping, with a pronounced [Australian] accent - ringing in their heads.)

Quirinus: ~Better idea - why don't you keep your noses out of my fucking business?~

-Etran and Siku hears the Psychic voice-

Siku:<Whoever said that, you don't talk to my buddy like that.>

Etran: Who's there? And what business are you talking about? I was under the impression I was about to be attacked.

-Eggshell sees the Delphox, then flies to Etran.-

Eggshell: <Etran and Siku! Follow me.>

-Eggshell starts flying towards the Pokemart.-

Etran: Guess I should figure out what's going on.

-Etran turns to the Saurupods.-

Etran: C-can you help me? Come on!

-Etran and Siku follow Eggshell to the Pokemart. The Saurupods may follow.-

Quirinus: ~Why would I waste time attacking a scrawny runt like you? 'sides, I've got a job offer on the way and I don't wanna blow it.~

-Etran makes it to the Pokemart, and sees Quirinus.-

Siku:<There you are. You insulted my buddy.>

-Siku nods at Etran. Etran nods back.-

Etran: Fine. I won't get in your way, Siku.

-Siku moves up to Quirinus. Water spirals around his tail, and he attempts to hit the Delphox with Aqua Tail.-

They followed after Siku, though for now they didn't attack

(Seeing the attack coming, Quirinus teleports away with an ear-splitting *KRAK-shreeee* just before the Aqua Tail strikes him. He now stares down from the roof of the Pokemart, his wand drawn and alight.)

Quirinus: ~Didn't I just say you weren't worth a fight? Arceus, humans and their shitty listening.~

Etran: Siku, stand down. He's not attacking.

Siku: <Fine. But I'm watching him.>

-Siku stops.-

Etran: What's going on? What are you doing here, and why do you seem so Shady.

The S³ walked besides Siku, waiting, they didn't really seem aggressive now, though they could be if the situation went awry.

Siku: <But, buddy, what if he's doing something bad. We shouldn't let him just get away.>

All Three: <I'f he's a baddie then we won't let him away~ We're the best at fighting baddies.>

Well... the last part likely was exagerated... but the spirit was certainly there

Meganium: <If you're no baddy then you surely can tell us what you want no problem?>

She inquired with a smirk

Quirinus: ~How many times do I have to say "waiting for a job offer" before it sinks through your thick Arceusdamn skulls?~

Pastoria

Etran: Let's just ignore him and go.

Siku: <Yeah. He isn't worth your time.>

-Etran starts to walk away.Before leaving Siku turns to the Saurupods.-

Siku: <We'll leave this to you.>

-Siku follows Etran.-

-Maria has found a cave!-

Maria:Oooooo~

-She takes a step inside, placing a mining helmet on her head-

-She shifts a few rocks around-

Nothing here...maybe...it's a den? Or maybe...

-She finds a hole in the ground!-

It goes deeper! Yes!

-She leaps down, landing with a thud-

Oof! Ngh..maybe...not the smartest.

-Digs in her bag-

Now...I just need an Escape Rope to climb out and...

-Beat-

Hm...?

-Her bag is lacking that-

Shit...

-She sighs-

-Suddenly the cave rumbles! The rocks she displaced earlier tumble over, blocking off the hole!-

Well...

-She sends out her Glacion-

Guess were seeing how far this Bunnelby hole goes, huh Phillip?

Phillip:<And here I thought it'd be a quiet day...>

-As they walk further in-

Maria:Aw, don't be like that! It'll be an adventure!

Phillip:<Don't your adventures usually get us in trouble?>

-Behind them, a suspicious pile of rocks slithers away...-

Maria:Not always! Besides, what else could go wrong, right?

-Phillip sighs-

Pastoria City, Sea Landing

A speedboat, with four occupants, pulls up to the landing. Three of its passengers disembark, the pilot speeding away as soon as they're off.

One of them, the apparent leader, is a man in a tailored, midnight purple suit. He wears a white eyepatch over his left eye, and immediately pulls out a cigarette as soon as his feet touch the dock. His icy gaze sweeps over the town, as if assessing its intrinsic value.

Over his right shoulder, his subordinate reaches forward with a lighter to light the smoke. He's dressed in an off the rack suit, black, and slightly bulked out by the body armor underneath. He has a hard face, harder than his boss.

Over his other shoulder, his other subordinate hangs up her cellphone. Sighing, she slips it back into her pocket. She's in jeans and a concert t-shirt, for some death metal band.

She sighs at her boss smoking.

Subordinate F: Sir, those are going to kill you, eventually.

The man in the nice suit chuckles.

Boss: You know, Suzume, if the cigarettes are what get me, I'll count myself lucky.

Suzume: Fair enough, I suppose.

Their third member grunts.

Subordinate M: Are you sure its here, boss? I mean, sure the town has a gym but... this is still practically a swamp.

Boss: Reginald, friend, if I wasn't sure, I wouldn't have come myself.

Concern assuaged, the man grunts in acknowledgement.

Kyle Warden: At the moment, my biggest concern is not running into my son. I hear he's back from the dead, again. Either way, I don't think we're ready yet to meet face to face. In any case, the artifact we're after is supposedly kept under lock and key at the gym. We'll check it out tomorrow, see what we can dig up.

Suzume: Very well, sir. We are lodged at the local Pokemon Center. The paid rooms, not the free ones, of course.

Kyle raises an eyebrow.

Suzume: I know, I know, not my first choice either, but I couldn't find a hotel that wouldn't draw attention. We're hiding in plain sight, here.

Kyle: Oh, I don't doubt the validity of your decision, dear. I'm only wondering... staying in a Pokemon Center is the easiest way I know to bump into a member of the J-team. Ah well, so be it.

The three make their way to the Pokemon Center for the night.

With that, Munn's dad enters the scene! What is he after? Who are his subordinates? What is he planning? FIND OUT NEXT TIME... that I feel like posting. Probably tomorrow, who knows.

She looked as they left while the other two looked to the Delphox

They clearly did seem eager.

(Quirinus chuckles dryly at the Sauropods.)

Quirinus: ~Ooh, dunno. You don't seem like the type who'd cut it in the criminal underworld.~
