-The Rotom eeks at Phaz's aggressive question, jerking back and almost hitting the glaring statue behind her.-

Kiaran: <My opinion of you is rapidly improving.>

?????: I-i-i can't disclose that information yet!

Audra: <Then what can you disclose then? I suppose we should start with some easy ones. First off, what is your name?>

?????: I-it's...Reset...

-Audra raises her nonexistant eyebrows at the strange name, but moves onto the next question.-

Audra: <Okay, do you know why Ark was taken?>

Reset: N-no.... was she the girl that Keres, brought in?

Audra: <Is Keres a female haunter?>

Reset: Yes.

Audra: <Okay then, next question. You said you were the messenger; that implies that you have a message to give, so please, do go ahead and spill it.>

Reset: A-a-ah! R-r-r-ight! Um... the mistress has been watching... and she is willing to give you your friend back.

Kiaran: <That sounds way too easy!>

Reset: Eeeeek!

-Audra levels a glare at Kiaran-

Audra: <Take a hint like the others and shut your trap. Leave the questions to the detective, Watson.>

-Turning back to the Rotom she commands-

Audra: <Continue.>

Reset: R-right... the m-mistress is willing to give your friend back, if you make it too her room before sunset.

Kiaran: <That is a load of Tauros shi->

-Audra whacks Kiaran across the face with her tail.-

Audra: <Ignore him. Continue.>

Reset: U-um... to get to her room, you will need to get all of the keys that belong to this key ring. The keys are hidden in such an order that you will need the previous one to get to the next one.

Audra: <.... So this is all an elaborate scavenger hunt?>

Reset: Um.... kinda... I guess... oh yeah um... since the mistress would be bored if you just stumbled around aimlessly or got stuck, I'm supposed to give you hints if you well... get stuck. Just.... don't ask too often... the mistress has been acting strange lately... so... she might get mad if you ask too often. She... doesn't like liars and cheaters.

Audra: <Is that all?>

Reset: A-almost... the first clue is "The first keeper is of stone. Forever angry at the loss of it's twin. Put it out of it's misery'' Th-that is your first clue.... now... could you please let me go?

Ralli: <Heck no.>

Audra: <Do it. It will not leave us, as we need the key ring. Besides, we might need Verigan to do something with that sword later.>

Reset: Um... I... prefer... her... pronouns... if you... don't mind.

Audra: <Thats nice. Verigan, release IT.>

Verigan: <This is your lucky day fiend, for Sparking Deduction hath given thee her mercy.>

-The Rotom Darts behind the glaring statue next to the locked door, disturbing the dust on the other side of the door with the speed of her retreat.-

-Ekundayo peeks out behind Phaz's left leg-

Ekundayo: <I... think you scared her.>

Audra: <It.>

Barclay: <Ye are being a bit inconsiderate, but considering the curcumstances and ye being who ye are, I do not blame ye.>

Kiaran: <Yeah, yeah, that's very nice and all. Less talk about unimportant stuff, more talk about this guardian or whatever.>

Senshi:<well->

Eve:What do you think?! This...this...idiot lost an arm, for Arceus' sake!

-Sniffle-

Senshi:~I said shooooooooosh~

-Senshi's eyes glow and Eve staggers back, slumping into a chair-

-And she falls asleep-

-He turns to Blitz and Pipit-

Darner: -Appears to have her wings stuck together with honey-

-Finally, all three appear to be stuck together-

Artemia: <Well, I was carrying a bucket of water and then I tripped, which got nubs wet, who smashed one of Helios' honeypots into Darner with her tail, and then some Combee dropped more honey on us, which congealed.>

Darner: <I can't believe I couldn't dodge it.>

Pica: <Can't believe I didn't Protect.>

Artemia: -Grumbles from being stuck in her pose-

-He sighs, obviously a bit unnerved-

"It's just, I've never actually seen it before, even with all the dangers the J-team gets into, and it's got me thinking a bit"

Blitz: "Ugh, seriously? That means we've got-" -He pulls his phone out to check the time, but the device is worse off than before- "Ugh, not enough time to stop and figure out how much time we've got"

-He turns to Simon- "Right, so the other Rotom says her master will give Ark back if we find a bunch of keys before sundown and she's supposed to give us hints to keep things from getting too boring. First hint is something about a 'keeper of stone' being angry about it's twin missing and putting it out of it's misery. So I guess we're looking for a statue without a twin to smash? Oh, and we got to finish finding all the keys before sundown"

Mondo: <Or we could just start breaking doors down until we find the girl instead of playing games, you brought Stark with you after all>

Blitz: "Yeah, but knowing him he'd take out the walls and I don't feel like finding out which ones are load bearing the hard way"

Blitz: "Well that sounds like a good sign for now."

-He glances to the sleeping Eve-

"Hope you haven't had to do that too much lately"

Blitz: "A lot of things, I guess. Wondering what Jason is gonna have to go through when he gets out of the hospital... Or what I'd do with my life if I got really injured... Or if Sakura got hurt instead of Jason... Or how my parents would react if I came home missing a leg or something"

-He shakes his head-

"All things considered, I'm probably really lucky. If you guys hadn't shown up to deal with Leng when you did... I probably wouldn't have made it to the pokecenter, or gotten away with just a scar"

"Not sure I ever said thanks for coming to my rescue like that."

-she sits still for a moment, eyes darting back and forth-

-slowly, she climbs out of the garbage can, brushing off some unsavory items, wrinkling her nose-

Samantha: Is she gone?

Clyde: <I think the coast is clear.>

Samantha: Thank Arceus...I was starting to think that I would never see the end of her. If I hear the words "Magic Pokewater" one more time...

-she shudders. Clyde comfortingly nuzzles her hand-

Samantha: Aww, thanks, bud.

Clyde: <Hmmmm...I'm thirsty, Samantha.>

Samantha: Well, my water bottle hasn't left my bag. You can get it, can't you?

Clyde: <Yeah, I can, it's just that this is a more...particular kind of thirst.>

-Samantha stops dead in her tracks, turning paler and paler-

Clyde: <A thirst...that can only be quenched with...>

Clyde: <The smooth, healing force...>

-Clyde's paw goes up to his collarbone, grabbing onto something and slowly pulling down. The sound of a zipper opening can be faintly heard over Samantha's swift breath-

-what Samantha thought was Clyde reveals itself to be a thin, buxom blonde woman with wide, manic blue eyes and makeup that seemed to be applied with a fire hose. She grins widely-

Saleswoman: MAGIC POKEWATER!

-Samantha howls a throaty, primal roar in terror and runs away as fast as her legs can take her. The woman pursues-

-He grins again and fidgets with the flash drive around his neck.-

-Blitz is surprised at the auric transmission, and it takes him a moment before he pats a shoulder-

Blitz: "Yeah, it's me. Guess you're a little more awake than I thought"

Blue: Hoh? Well. Right now, after recently getting caught off-guard, I'm working on some items for self-defense. But that's mostly busy work. My real passion is continuing my father's work with psychotech. I've already completed a device that can be used to artificially access a mindscape without the aid of a Psychic.

Red smiles behind her girlfriend, very proud of her accomplishments.
