CU-Pagoda 3f, Past

-From behind the Reaper approaches an blindingly fast pinkish blur that is trailing a path of fast-forwarded time in its wake.-

Pink Blur Mendel: -at the group dodging bullets- Run east! We've only got one shot at this!

-Rather than increasing Pythagoras' speed to the max, Mendel wills Pythagoras to release a wave of weak, paralyzing electricity at the Reaper before speeding past it down the eastward hall where Ren is trying to find a way past the collapsed pillars. Ren presses himself to the wall as Mendel zips up and slaps the Time gem into its slot and ready to Teleport the group to the last set of stairs if this goes sour.-

Eterna Gym

-Malice was hit by the seed bomb. She then woke up.-

Malice:<Morning, cutie.>

Etran: Malice, phantom force!

-Malice vanishes-

Pagoda

-The Reaper bellows at Mendel, trying to trudge forward-

Verax: "Aha!"

-And then as they all run east towards the only blocked off path, the Reaper simply breaks out of the Paralysis, still far behind the group, and roars-

"Well crap."

-And everyone manages to head to the stairs and down them before the Reaper gets two close-

Pagoda F2

-As the group exits the staircase, they find themselves to a room immediately to the right of the room with the time gem puzzle they had scene earlier-

"Oh, back here again. Might as well follow the path and see where it leads."

Eterna City, Sergey's Camp - Presumably after the party

The whole team was lying on the grass, the grill by now out. Most were sleeping, only Sergey and Magnus were watching the stars in silence - well until they started talking.

Sergey: "Well, it sure have been exciting years in the past, don't you think?"

Sergey smiled

Sergey: "Remember when I first found you? You followed me home and we gave you food, fun times back then."

Magnus (also smiling): <...>

Sergey: "And now we're travelling together, and soon we will participate at a contest."

Magnus: <...>

Sergey: "We've worked so hard in the last couple of months... but truth be told I'm still nervous."

At this point Magnus got up, patting Sergey - a confident smile on his face.

Sergey: "Seems you aren't as nervous huh? I'm glad."

-As the group heads on, no enemies stop them-

-After a couple minutes of walking, they enter a large square room with a 10-foot wide and seemingly bottomless stone circled pool-

"Well, that's distressing. Can't say I think that's for decoration."

-And the pool shimmers and shows the roof of the pagoda, a large flat surface, with flashes of light and sparks from each strike of the forge's hammers-

-There's also Jacob and Pyro Jack fighting Jacob's Shadow. Jacob is bloody and Pyro Jack's form is flickering. The shadow, who is still in a relatively human form, though as opposed to copying Jacob's appearance, now is dressed in a suit jacket and slacks over rotted mummy bandages wrapping his torso, arms and hands-

-The shadow looks towards the pool and the group-

Shadow!Jacob: "You better hurry~"

-And then the pool ripples and goes dark-

Verax: "... Not fun." -And they head on-

Eterna City

-Jacob has bought a bike and is struggling to learn how to ride it, shaking more than a leafless tree in a storm-

Regina: <... Maybe you could ask for help?>

Jacob: "I've only scraped my knees three times and my face twice I'll be fine!!!"

-And he falls over again-

Random Townsperson: Uh, okay, yeah, sure. -gives directions.-

Scheherezade: Thanks! -waves, and the trio set off for the Pokemon centre.-

-the clock on the wall reads a quarter past midnight. A thin wisp of steam floats through the stale air of Alys' office, her cup of tea shaking in her hand as she places it back down on her desk-

Alys: No, no, no...

-she flips through a sheaf of papers, frustration evident on her sharp, pale face. She pores over the results on the pages. Her eyes go uncharacteristically wide-

Alys: ...

-she reaches over to her pack of cigarettes, placing one in her mouth and flicking the lighter. She breathes in the smoke and visibly relaxes, although her expression is clearly stormy-

Alys: Merde. That little, eh...?

-another puff from her cigarette, as she continues murmuring to herself, trying her best to fill the silence. That silence is filled by the sound of an airplane passing by not far overhead, the sound of the engines making her wince and pinch the bridge of her nose. Alys opens her drawer, taking out a small bottle of Aspirin, and pops one in her mouth. She swallows it with tea, and sighs, placing the cup back down and bringing the cigarette back to her lips-

Alys: Perhaps what we need is a...hmm.

-she smokes in her office, in the dark, alone-

One Quiet Night: Something keeps your character from their bed, a loose concern or fear in their head that they cannot put to rest before sinking into sleep. It may not keep them awake a whole night, but it still leaves them sitting in the still of night alone with their thoughts.
