-Ever is wandering around, Diesel at his side. Mallory is somewhere else-

Ever: Okay, so we have a problem.

Diesel: <Yeah?>

Ever: Well, first of all, we seem to be a little lost, and I'd debate the accuracy of my map given that most of the Eterna sidestreets appear to have looped in on themselves.

Diesel: <And?>

Ever: Secondly, I'm starting to get hungry, which is a real problem if I can't leave this segment of street.

Diesel: <That's worrying.>

Ever: And thirdly, I was pretty sure they cleared out the glitches from this city already.

Diesel: <...>

Ever: Did you really think I wouldn't recognize when someone's impersonating one of my Pokemon?

Diesel: <...>

-and Diesel is replaced by a Mismagius-

Ever: You don't need illusions to be pretty, friend. ^_^ -skritches the Mismagius on the head-

DS: (looking somewhat concerned) Guess it had a second phase, huh...

DS: Hmm... I'm not too sure, but hopefully we'll think of something before it gets too hard to breathe in here...

Ray: (nods) All right... Meowstic, use Psychic! (sends out his Drifloon) Drifloon, Ominous Wind!

- Ray's Pokémon fire their attacks -

DS: (thinking) Is this part of the same glitch Tagg and I met before? Doesn't look like we can try to reason with this piece, though...

HotStuff: <DS? What are you waiting for?>

Ah, sorry... Try a Mach Punch!

HotStuff: <Ooh, haven't used that move in a while... Let's see...>

- HotStuff moves in to attack -

Igneous: <All right, so which one of you numbskulls do I gotta beat first?>

-Kieran shrugs-

Kieran: I guess I'll take this. Barako needs some training anyway.

-He sends out a Budew, which had hatched from the egg Joseph gave him.-

Barako: <Ah! Never have I seen a Larvitar of such a brilliant crimson hue!>

Igneous: <...Aren't you, like, two weeks old? You look two weeks old or something. You shouldn't even know what a Larvitar is.>

Barako: <Ahh... 'Tis true, my life is new and my mind is young, but my heart! It knows! Things!>

Kieran: He heard you talking and guessed.

Igneous: <Why does nothing make sense around you!?>

Sarah: Honestly, I think you just came at a weird time, usually things have a bit more logic behind them.

Igneous: <Grr... whatever. I'll make you realize the error of using a newborn Grass-type against—>

Kieran: Water Sport.

-Barako poses and spews water at Igneous, causing him to sputter and cough in the middle of his rant.-

Igneous: <Aaack! Pbbbth! Rude! I was talking here!>

Sarah: Yeah, we noticed you do that a lot.

-Igneous growls and spits an Ember at her. After having been weakened by Water Sport, however, it doesn't do much to her.-

Sarah: ...Oh no. How terrifying. Please have mercy, O Great Igneous.

Kieran: You know, you could have used that against the Pokemon you're actually fighting.

Igneous: <As far as I'm concerned, I'm fighting all of you!>

Kieran: Whatever. Rain Dance.

-Barako makes a few more dramatic poses, and a rain cloud forms over the two. Igneous gets soaked.-

Igneous: <...Now this is just insulting.>

Jason:Phase 2, there's always a phase 2. Reminds me of Raffalesia.

-Senshi shrinks back to recharge-

-Yojimbo fires off a Blizzard once more and Kiyo Ice Punches again-

Mismagius: <Your team's been taken care of.>

-Ever sighs, and sits cross-legged in front of the Mismagius-

Ever: Look, you have to understand, if you've actually hurt them, then cute ghostie or no, I'm probably going to have to hurt you.

Mismagius: <What are you going to do to me? You're corporeal.>

Ever: True.

-he scoops the Mismagius into a hug-

Mismagius: <Hey! Let go of me!>

Ever: I don't think I will.

Mismagius: <Well...I live longer than you!>

Ever: Yeah, but if you're out trying to scare people, you're probably hungry. So I figure I can just sit here and not be scared of an adorable little ghostie like you, and you can slowly starve until you tell me where my team is!

Mismagius: <...>

-Malice vanishes as Spintop starts surrounding the enemy with rocks-

The cloud's growing thicker, I suspect she means to turn us into fertilizer upon our succumbing, we need to finish this quickly.

Pianis: AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!!

-Pianis is now falling past the myriad of floating buildings, trying desperately not to get splatted-

-Ayla leaps up to the top of the Galactic building, and catches Pianis in her arms-

Ayla: <What you think? Good flight, no?>

Pianis: -gasps for breath-

Jenna: ...Damn, that was satisfying.

Lily: I figured you'd like that, yeah. And hey, he's up there now, isn't he?

Tomahawk: <That's just not right>

-Blitz pulls his shirt up over his face as the pollen spreads out, just in case-

Blitz: -Muffled- "Right, uh how about- Watch it!"

-Tomahawk flies out of the path of one of the energy blasts, and Blitz tries to dive away from some of the frenzy plant, only to find Ammon jumping in the way of a bushy vine he hadn't seen-

Ammon: <Rrr... Strong plant>

Blitz: "Sorry- I mean, thanks buddy. Try another Flamethrower, Tomahawk, Swing around the side and try an Air Slash!"

-Blitz stands and shifts his shirt in an attempt to keep it on his face and prevent him from breathing too much pollen in as Ammon breaths flames at the main body of the creature while Tomahawk flies toward left side of the glitch before releasing a blade of flying energy at the Torterra-body-

- HotStuff makes sure that the Meowstic and Drifloon are not in the path of the glitch's attacks, although taking some damage herself -

DS: HotStuff... (sneezes) Ugh... Are you all right?

HotStuff: <Yeah, don't worry about me... Are you okay?>

DS: (squinting, some pollen on the lenses of her glasses seem to be partially obscuring her view, not helped by the pollen also probably irritating her eyes) Yeah, just hurry up, assuming you can still see where the thing is...

HotStuff: <Y-Yeah...>

Drifloon: (trying to blow some of the pollen away with Gust) <Does this help?>

DS: HotStuff, just give it your best shot. Flare Blitz. Ugh, my nose...

HotStuff: <Don't worry, I'll handle this!>

Ray: Meowstic! Use Psybeam! Drifloon! Use Ominous Wind again!

Male Meowstic and Drifloon: <Right!>

- The Pokémon fire their attacks -

-Igneous starts literally steaming as the rain keeps falling and Barako keeps posing dramatically.-

Igneous: <Okay, that does it, you're really starting to annoy me! I'm gonna burn you good now!>

-He spits a few pathetic Embers that don't seem to have very much effect on Barako at all.-

Barako: <Oh! I feel your rage! A rage as fierce as the fires that strike me!>

Sarah: Before you get too proud, that's not a compliment.

Igneous: <I KNOW IT'S NOT A COMPLIMENT!>

Kieran: Just making sure, since, y'know, your view of reality is kinda skewed. Toxic!

-Barako shoots a glob of poison at Igneous-

Igneous: <Aaaaack! The whole point of this was that reality is skewed around me! And it's gotta be your fault!>

Barako: <O foul tempered creature of fire, I must beg you to see reason!>

Igneous: <Oh, I definitely see a reason for doing this, all right! And that's because you're nothing but annoying!>

-He tries another Ember. It's just about as effective as you'd expect.-

Barako: <O pity...>

Kieran: I almost feel bad for you. Almost. But let's finish this. Venoshock.

-Barako spews a barrage of poison around Igneous, covering him. He sputters.-

Igneous: <Ack... hrk... fine... Never mind! I don't need this! BUT REST ASSURED I WILL BE BACK!>

-He staggers off, using the burned stick he threw earlier as a cane.-

-It breaks and he falls over unceremoniously. A familiar Murkrow notices and lands near him.-

Henry: <Ooh, I don't think I've seen a fire-y Larvitar before.>

-He starts pecking at the downed rock lizard.-

Igneous: <ACK OW OW STOP OW OUCH AAH>

-The twins sigh.-

Eterna City, roof of the Galactic building

Ayla: <When you want go back, just ask. I give you good flight, yes?>

Pianis: I... I think I'll pass.

-Pianis looks around the rooftop and finds it covered in glitchy corruption, most of it surrounding a computer-like device-

Pianis: Well, this must be what's causing the building to hang in midair.

Yukikaze: <So... we blast it with a triple Blizzard?>

Pianis: Hm...

-Pianis' eyes catch a console on the device-

Pianis: Hold that thought. I want to try something.

-he walks to the terminal and sees an image of several floating buildings on the screen-

-then presses the down arrow key a few times, sending them lower-

-a few presses later, and all buildings are back on the ground where they're supposed to be-

Pianis: ...Huh. That was easy.

Yukikaze: <And we didn't even have to blast anything. Boring.>

-After a quite strange encounter with Mettaton involving news and bombs, Iggy's found herself in a very...purple and spider-y area, cobwebs and all-

-Iggy blinks but enters anyway...-

<Did you hear?>

-She tries not to become tangled in the web-

<I heard the human was already here.>

<I heard her author skipped our bake sale>

<It surely wasn't onscreen.>

<She didn't even buy anything!>

-Her movements slow...-

<I heard that too...>

-The web entangles her-

-The shadows in the room become clearer...-

-And a large Shiny Ariados, surrounded by tiny Spinarak clicks into view-

Muffet:<It seems you're quite stingy with your money~. Ahuhuhu~>

-Iggy struggles-

<Now now, sweetie, don't try and struggle. It'll all be over soon.>

-She titters-

<Ahuuhuhu~. You know...you could still help our bake sale...>

Iggy:I...I c-can?

Muffet:<Of course~. I think that SOUL of your's will make for a delicious cake filling~>

Iggy:Meep!

-Tik tik tik bweeeooooo~-

Muffet traps you!

-And she immediately whistles-

Muffet used Attack Order! The surrounding Spinarak used Shadow Sneak!

-Iggy manages to pop her soul free in time...and lands it in a purple web, turning it and her outfit a similar color-

-She wills it up and down to dodge the sneaking spiders-

Muffet:<Well look at that~. Purple really suits you dearie~>

-She whistles out another Attack order-

The surrounding Spinarak used Round!

-Boomarangish music notes fly past her soul, Iggy making it move almost rhythmically.-

Muffet:<Ahuhuhu~hu~. You're better than I thought at this, dearie~. I almost wish I didn't need to kill you~>

-She whistles for more Round-

Iggy:Then why?!

-She struggles as her soul takes a few hits-

Muffet:<It's quite a sad story really. We've been offered...quite a hefty sum for your soul.>

-Whistle for Shadow Sneak-

<We really don't have much other choice. We simply want to reunite our clans~. And with the money we'd get...we could take them from the Ruins to here in a nice heated limo~, no need to worry about Snowdin's deadly cold~!>

-She whistles again...then stops-

-Iggy's taken out a doughnut she bought in said Ruins-

-Nom-

<Human, you....>

-Gulp-

-Healed!-

Iggy:I...I liked that doughnut. I...It was super tasty! ^_^

Muffet:<...>

-She whistles-

Muffet called out Heal Order!

-The smol spidermon surround Iggy and untie her, and send green music noted to Iggy!-

Iggy:Ms. Spider? But...don't you...

-The Ariados pats-

Muffet:<You've helped enough, dearie. We can manage, right everyone~?>

-A chorus of <YEAH!> rings out around her.-

-Iggy smiles-

-And huggles the spider-

-The chase continues for a few minutes, with the group eventually cornering Titania and her Pixies in a room, and they all giggle and vanish, the sound of a door to the west opening-

Jacob: -Pulling his coat over his mouth- "Yeah we need to end this quickly."

-He pulls out Kanshou and Bakuya, hurling them at the Glitch-

-Regina attempts to move the thickened cloud of pollen away from a small space in the center of the gym as to create a safe zone with Telekinesis-

-Pest launches an Air Slash at it, while Discord, P-1, Phlegethon and Voidstar fall back towards Regina, Discord and Phlegethon unleashing a swathe of fire, P-1 letting loose with a Thunder Wave, and Voidstar hurling two more Ice Shards at it-

-Jacob is taking a walk with Hikari, Sylva and Regina following along-

Jacob: "... So you know, this place is interesting. Remind me again, when did you first visit Sinnoh?"

"If there is no way to win, I will simply force a way."

"Jacob, I was born in this region." said Hikari, giggling

-Ren and Mendel are running after the second group of Pixies with SleepyHead, Des, Silent, and Lane, when they hear the door open behind them.-

Ren: The Reaper is loose! We need to do whatever we can before we need to port back to the stairs!

-Ren tries to summon Izanagi with no luck.-
