Jacob: "Okay, so we're all here."

Margaret: <Excellent.> -She flips over the three cards laid out before her, before returning them to their deck-

<Before we spin our wheel of fortune, allow me to congratulate you on your last victory. It was not an easy one, but you all overcame it, taking fate into your own hands and guiding it. If you have any questions, now would be the time to ask. Elizabeth? Could you get the wheel?>

-Elizabeth nods-

Elizabeth: <Of course, sister.> -She walks away-

Verax: "I think we're all good on questions, I just wanna bash some demons and shadows!"

-As Elizabeth goes to retrieve the Wheel, Mendel gives a hurried recap of the Questions he asked before entering Joseph's Dungeon.-

Mendel: -to Silent- ... And well the last couple of times there have been some close shaves. I was wondering I you had any advice on supporting a large group.

-Ren Picks up a drink that Marie rejected and takes a sip.-

Ren: -in thought- Vanilla ice cream, chocolate, and rawst and nomel berries... Not bad...

-Ren notices as SleepyHead and Lisa enter the Velvet room too.-

-Pent shrugs and gets up from his seat and steps over to the bar-

Aye, I haven't got any questions, let's just get this group moving to grab someone their Persona proper. Steel thy souls, we're going in again.

-He takes a glass at random and gulps it down in a single motion. He shivers a little and sets the empty glass down-

Pecha, maple syrup and far, far too much dissolved sugar... Dear would have loved it.

-He puts on a sheepish smile and puts on his fog-proof eyewear-

Margaret: -She nods at Silent's words- <If you feel under prepared, you are all free to use this room in whatever capacity you desire.>

Jacob: "Honestly, I think we're good. We could stand to work on our communication, if we should get split."

Verax: "But I think teamwork wise in combat we've got stuff down."

Margaret: <Hmm... yes... being able to coordinate even should you all be divided would be useful. I doubt we will be able to devise a method that works right away, but Theo, Elizabeth and I shall attempt to create something to aid you in this while you are away.>

-Elizabeth returns with the giant wheel-

Elizabeth: <Well, let's spin it!>

-She takes the wheel and spins it-

-After a few moments, it lands on the icon of what appears to be a mummy in an open sarcophagus-

Verax: "Well that can only be good."

Jacob: "......"

-Puts on his glasses with shaking hands, trying to calm himself- "I think... I think we're ready to go then."

Margaret: <Excellent. Theo, could you get the door?>

"If there is no way to win, I will simply force a way."

Lane:I swear if this is anything like the lookalike of Qarn Jason told me about...

-He swaps glasses-

-Dune arches an eyebrow at Jacob. Shaky hands were not normal for him, and Dune doubted that his friend would allow himself to get hypoglycemic.-

Galvani: <Oooooo, spooky!>

-Dune puts his goggles on with a small snap. Galvani also puts her glasses on, also with a snap. Dune looks at her in confusion. Galvani can only shrug.-

-Mendel mulls over Silent's words as Ren eyes the Mummy on the wheel with trepidation.-

-Theo stands bolt upright at Margaret's words.-

Theo: <Y-yes, of course>

-Theo scampers to once of the walls where a blue door appears, which he holds open.-

Theo: Good luck to all of you!

-After swapping out their eye wear, Ren and Mendel step through the door into the Collective Unconsciousness.-

CU, ???

-Mendel does his standard initial scan.-

CU, ???

-Dune and Galvani arrive as well, and something begins to dawn on Dune. Where had he seen a mummy before, strongly juxtaposed as a key feature of someone's psyc-

Dune: Oh shit.

Galvani: <"Oh shit" what? That's not a good thing. You saying that is, in fact, highly distressing.>

CU - ??

-As everyone files in, they stand on a grass cliff, looking over the edge reveals they are above a sea of gray storm clouds-

-In front of them is a stone rocky arch connecting to a single floating island, on which is a large pagoda, with several turning brass gears poking out the sides, and two massive silver gears at the top driving what look like automated hammers on to a massive forge-

Jacob: -Stepping out, looks to Ren and Dune, before pushing on ahead of the group, not waiting for Mendel's scan-

Lane:Wooooah...that's impressive...

Ugh...wonder what mine is...hell, maybe it'll never come up...wouldn't be surprised...

-Ren notes Jacob's and Dune's reactions.-

Ren: I hate when knowing exactly what is waiting for you is worse that not knowing anything...

-Pythagoras, seeming that the last few trips have increased his scanning abiities a bit shows Mendel a Map on his Dsplay with a single energy signature. Mendel wills Pythagoras to display the map on the surface of the Hard Light shell enclosing Mendel so others can see it.-

Mendel: We have one demon in the first room on the left.

-Ren nods and follows after Jacob, not saying anything because Ren has a pretty good idea what Jacob is feeling right now.-

Ever: So. Are you traveling with us now?

Mallory: I'm not sure that's a good idea.

Ever: Sure it is. My Chimecho will keep an eye on you to make sure you don't go all Lockhart.

-Pent takes a moment to appreciate the grand automated hammers working before the group-

Well dang, that's pretty impressive... Think it's making anything or is it just for decorative purposes?

-He glances around and shrugs-

-Dune, however, is downright sweating apprehension.-

CU - Pagoda

Verax: -Looking at Mendel's Map- "Whoa. That's handy."

Jacob: -Looking back at Silent- "I am almost a hundred percent sure this is mine. Expect... anything. A lot of puzzles, at any rate."

-As the enter, the sound of clockwork fills the whole chamber-

-In front of the first hall way, there's a specter, someone that looks like Jacob made entirely from smoke with bright green eyes, and claps-

???: "Well done. Wellity wellity well done friends. You made it to room one."

Jacob: "... You."

Verax: "Yo wait don't we usually find these things at the end?"

Shadow!Jacob: "But of course! I'm not here to stop you. In fact I want to see you push through... but... I need to change the casting here first."

-He holds out his hand, and Jacob explodes into dark fragments- "Oh don't worry. He'll be fine. I'll just be having a chat with our friend at the top. If you want to save him..." -He chuckles-

"Well, just get there quick so I don't get bored."

Verax: "... Wait, no!! Give my brother-" -And he leaps at the shadowy figure, and is promptly slapped aside-

Shadow!Jacob: "Uh-uh. No cutting to the end so quick. Well... I'll see you all later~" -And he dissolves into smoke, though his voice echoes-

"As a note though, Mendel, you might wanna check Pythagoras. Only one demon? I count at least two. Maybe mooore~"

CU, tower

Lane:-opens mouth-

-closes mouth-

...

I believe this is a good time for "well, fuck", eh?

-Beat-

-Facepalm-

'Arceus dammit, that sounded dumb...

-Ren's reaction to Jacob's abduction is equal parts horror and outrage, and immedtely summons Izanagi, only for Shadow Jacob to smoke-port away.-

Ren: Oh this is starting out real good...

-Mendel squeaks at the prompt from Shadow Jacob and reexamines the map.-

Mendel: And from what the Shadow just said there is at least one cloaked enemy in this room. Because Pythagoras is still only detecting one demon...

-Mendel promptly has Pythagoras raise a Reflect screen around the group.-

-Pent seems... Unfazed by the Shadow's antics, seeming to hold back a mocking yawn before he glances at Silent-

Maybe? Orpheus doesn't have any specific extranormal senses I don't think...

-He shrugs and brings out the card to summon the pokesona anyway-
