Ark: <Now use quick attack to climb Onix! Try to get to the head!>

-With a streak of white light, Verigan dashes forward and attempt to leap onto the Onix-

Verigan: <I shall climb the colossus!>

-Joseph is walking about, hands in his pockets. Notably, he is silent-

<If the need to came up, then I'd be okay with it.>

Ever: No, really. It's been days. Feel free to give a command or two to your team.

Mallory: I barely know them.

Ever: Have you ever been speed dating? Think like that, except I'm about to pass out from sleep-dep and we will then all die if you don't get it together pretty quickly.

-indeed, Ever and Cornelia are still fighting the Glitchspawn-

Mallory: I've never dated anybody, actually.

Ever: I think you're missing the point of what I'm trying to say.

Mallory: Right, um...Reticulate. Can you use...Force Palm? That's something you can do, right?

Ever: Have you never seen a Pokemon before?

Mallory: Not frequently! >_<

Reticulate: <Fortunately, I can use Force Palm. That said, why should I?>

Mallory: ...

Reticulate: <Just kidding.>

-Reticulate strikes the Drapion with a paw, and it freezes in place-

Ever: Oh, thank Arceus.

-and he falls asleep-

Mallory: Hey!

Roark: "Onix, Rock Polish!"

-The Onix proceeds to smooth himself to increase his speed and make it harder for Verigan to climb him-

-A human wearing camo-patterned clothing is walking with a Bronzor floating nearby and heads in here-

-The front lobby is quiet at this time. The receptionist sets aside the book he was reading.-

Receptionist: Hello. May I help you with anything?

Human: "Uh, yeah, I'd like to order something."

Dane's Place of Business

Receptionist: Are you hosting a tournament of some sort? Have you filled out the paperwork yet?

Rustboro, outside Dane's Place of Business

Human: "Uh..."

"I still need the paperwork, yeah."

Dane's Place of Business

-The receptionist points to a paper rack to his left.-

Receptionist: In that case, you're going to want to take the top two forms.

-He picks up a cup of pens and places it next to the rack.-

Do you need something to write with?

Rustboro, outside Dane's Place of Business

Human: "Hold on..."

-He looks at it-

"Uh, is there any other paperwork besides this stuff?"

Dane's Place of Business

Receptionist: Later on, once the details are sorted out with the higher-ups.

Human: "Right..."

-He thinks a bit, then fills out the fields-

Dane's Place of Business

-The receptionist takes the filled-out forms.-

Receptionist: Thank you. Please, take a seat. Someone should speak to you shortly.

DPoB

Human: "Alright."

-He sits down and takes a seat-

Bronzor: ~I mean, I'm not a human, but I don't think most of them would put a tournament in Wayward Cave.~

Human: Hey, I didn't know any other good way to get in contact with this guy and it'd be weird if I didn't have something.

Dane's Place of Business

-The receptionist picks up the phone and has a brief exchange. He turns back to the human.-

Receptionist: Mr. Hague will meet with you. He's in office B on the third floor. It's the second door on your right if you take the elevator.

DPoB

Human: "Alright."

-He and the Bronzor take the elevator and head up to Mr. Hague's office-

Dane's Place of Business

-Crispin stands up from his desk and holds out his hand.-

Crispin: I'm Crispin Hague. It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Coffee.

DPoB

-The Human accepts the handshake-

Mr. Coffee: "Likewise, Mr. Hague."

I must say, Wayward Cave is an interesting choice of venue.

-He takes a seat-

"Uh, but, yeah, I thought the darkness and caviness would make things interesting."

Crispin: Interesting sounds right. What sort of ideas did you have in mind for the tournament structure?

Solaceon Ruins — Sunchamber

-The two other mirrors are knocked out of Flaahgra's grip. As it begins to wilt again, it pulls the first mirror back down, but the Obscura coating it prevents it from shining again.-

-It shrivels up, too weak to do anything but glare menacingly at everyone.-

-Samus looks at Mezzo and gestures vaguely at her, then toward the final hole that opened up.-

Sunchamber

Mezzo: <I can't believe you're making me get close to that thing.>

-she sighs, then rolls down the tunnel, prepared to deliver the finishing blow-

Mr. Coffee: "Well..."

"I was thinking... something like groups of participants are put in different locations in the cave with a Pokemon and need to find and defeat the other players."

"After all, not knowing who's doing what and working with someone you're not used to seems interesting."
