-Satele tosses the Trubbish the apple core and shuts the dumpster as the trash Pokemon squeals with glee. She goes over to the aforementioned cardboard pile and kicks it.-

Satele: <C'mon, Selene. Full moon's over. Time to sober up.>

-A groan comes from the pile.-

Selene: <B' I dun wanna...>

-Satele grabs the cardboard and pulls the top off. The Clefable underneath recoils from the sudden sunlight.-

Selene: <Ah! Bright light! Bright light!>

-Satele grabs her by the ankle and starts dragging her to the Pokemon Center.-

Satele: <Gods, you're like a gremlin. I need to stop letting out out after midnight, or however that warning went...>

Floaroma Meadow...?

The afternoon sun was shining in the meadow, the flowers were blooming, and trees were rustling harshly...Wait, what? There was something unusual in the trees, and after a few seconds, a boy with a green jacket, a Servine, an Espurr, and a Gastrodon appeared from the shaking trees, injured from the many attacks they recieved.

Ryuu: HOLY FUCKING SHIT! Finally!

Ismene: Let's never take a shortcut again...

Raeburn: Why are you three angry? We finally got to our destination, right?

Ismene: It took 1 month. 1 MONTH!

Ged: I agree with them...

Daydre is sorting things into her bag, some of her team surrounding her. Notably, only two of their pokeballs have been sorted into the bag while the rest are left out on Daydre’s bed.

Rowan <.. We know you’re not abandoning us, if that’s what you’re worried about.>

Kitty: <And now I can sleep all I want. None of that ‘Kitty, stop sleeping we’re in the middle of a battle’ stuff.>

“Well you really shouldn’t be doing that, but thanks for the vote of confidence, I guess? And..” She turns to look at Rowan straight on. “.. Are you really okay with this? You’re my starter, is it really right if I just-”

Rowan <It’s fine. And you haven’t done a full challenge since back then.. If this’ll make you happy, then go do it.>

The mons in Daydre’s party not mentioned previously turn their attention away from whatever they were doing and focus on her. Anna is oddly absent..

Percy: <I can’t speak for the others, but I’m fine with it. Do it if ya want.>

Daydre feels a tug at her leg. It’s Mr. Bitey!

“... You want to go, huh?...”

He nods.

“.. Yeah, I should stop dawdling.”

Daydre finishes packing her stuff. With a final wave to her team, she leaves her house for the first time in, like a month.

Unbeknownst to her, though, a Volcarona-y shadow follows her on her way...

That wasn't too dumb was it?

-The Clefairy nods and lets out a cascading wave of light across the party. People hit may not feel any healthier, but the lack of the slow, choking poison might be a fair relief-
