Gui: We haven't met anyone new in a while, so I haven't been able to do that recently.

-Zeal tilts his head.-

Zeal: You sound really disappointed about that.

Gui: Bah! It's just... so disheartening.

Zeal: Er... Right.

-Gui stops walking. Zeal does also.-

Zeal: What's up?

-Gui pauses.-

Gui: You're going to Sinnoh, soon, aren't you? With the rest of the J-Team.

Zeal: ...I don't know. Maybe? I just... let's not worry about that yet.

Gui: But it's time to worry about it, isn't it? We've been putting it off for months and... well, it's time. We can't just keep disregarding this.

-Zeal pauses.-

Zeal: ...Is there anywhere we haven't been yet in Hoenn?

Gui: Huh?

Zeal: Remember when we just took a break from everything and visited all sorts of places? That was some of the most fun I'd had in years.

Gui: Yeah... me, too.

Zeal: If there's another place we haven't gone like that, we'll work it out there.

Gui: Oh... I get it. That might work. Is there a place like that?

Zeal: I don't know, I was asking you!

Gui: ...Right.

-Someone laughs behind them.-

???: I do not mean to intrude, but were you looking for a place to visit you haven't been to already?!

-Zeal and Gui turn around. There's a person dressed as a stereotypical Victorian gentleman behind them.-

Gui: Um... do you know this guy?

Zeal: You got a new hat!

Gui: Guess that answers that.

???: Yes, indeed! And now, I suggest you visit Mt. Pyre!

Gui: Isn't Mt. Pyre kind of... grave-y? I didn't think it was a very popular tourist attraction.

Zeal: But we haven't been there yet!

Gui: True. Guess it could be interesting.

???: I depart, then! Farewell, and good luck!

-The man walks backward until he is out of Zeal and Gui's sight.-

Gui: ...Well, then.

Zeal: Off we go, then?

-Gui grins.-

Gui: Alright! Off we go!

-They go somewhere out of anyone's sight, Gui drops her disguise, and they take off toward Mt. Pyre.-

Yeah Jo?

-Zeal and Gui have arrived at Mt. Pyre and are walking around the upper floors.-

Gui: Such a doleful place, isn't it?

Zeal: Er, yeah, I guess.

-A few seconds later, Gui stops walking.-

Zeal: What's wrong?

-Gui shakes her head.-

Gui: Nothing. Don't worry about it.

-Zeal narrows his eyes.-

Zeal: Another flashback to that feeling?

-Gui nods.-

Zeal: Do you want to wait around here for a little?

Gui: Yeah.

-She sits down.-

Go on without me, I'll catch up.

-Zeal pauses, then nods.-

-He walks off.-

-Zeal runs back to where Gui is, with Todd following behind him. She glances up.-

Gui: It hasn't been that long, has it? I thought—

-She notices he's holding Iulianus' tablet.-

What's that for?

Zeal: I set something up, no time to explain, just... hide!

-Gui starts to speak, but cuts herself off, nods, and turns invisible. Noel materializes beside Zeal.-

Zeal: You two ready?

Todd: <Certainly, sir.>

-Noel nods and hides again.-

Zeal: Alright, then...

-He takes a seat and glances at the tablet.-

Now we wait.

The possessed gain increased strength and durability in general, but the effects can vary. Clay turned 50 feet tall, Iris and her Haxorus fused, but Jane remained normal physically. The two ways of getting them back to normal is either beating them badly enough for the Glitch to leave (Don't worry, unless its strangling or dismemberment the host body doesn't take any real damage.), or going inside their Mindscape and purging the Glitch that way. (Probably the most dangerous path because it puts you in danger of also becoming a Glitch thrall.)

-To Des-

There's no real consistent way of permanently killing the major Glitches short of overwhelming firepower, though in the case of Missingno praying for deliverance in that pocket dimension managed to hold him back for a bit.

And in the case of a certain one, I don't think it can be killed.

-Suddenly Tinny-

Draca: <Those wings...>

Fenrir: <Yeah, doesn't matter, we'll just beat it up.>

Artemia: -Eyeroll- <Anyway, what's so much more important about it?>

I... Am not sure. We cannot be sure if her intentions are aligned with our own or with this new glitch's.

Uh, frig. Do we have a nice snappy name for this new glitch? I don't think anyone's given it a name. I'd like to put "C4ther N" forward.

-Boatman and his Scizor stagger into the room where Zeal is waiting.-

Boatman: You...

Scizor: <   Shall I...   >

-He clicks his claw. Boatman shakes his head in response.-

Boatman: Not yet.

-He glances at Zeal and points at the tablet in his hands.-

That belonged to Iulianus.

-Zeal nods.-

Zeal: That's right.

Boatman: You killed him.

-Zeal stands up and shakes his head.-

Zeal: No, I already explained this!

Boatman: Don't speak!

-He signals to the Scizor, who flies toward Zeal to grab his head in his claw... but when he does, Zeal vanishes in a cloud of smoke and the room turns a dark green. The Scizor takes a step back in alarm.-

Boatman: Wha—

-Zeal's voice echoes throughout the room.-

Zeal: You walked right into this one, didn't you?

Boatman: What's going on?!

-He glances around, and points at Zeal, who's sitting elsewhere.-

There!

-He laughs as the Scizor flies toward it and attacks to find it's another illusion.-

Scizor: <   Dirty coward! Where is your honor?!   >
