"Fool! You though I didn't know what you were plannin!"

He combat rolls to the side, now putting Jacob in the swords path.

"Enough of these games. If you wanted to play boomerang you should've went ot the playground with the kiddies."

He buries one of his swords in the floor and brandishes the other one.

Slateport Convention Center

Jacob: -Smirks as he catches Bakuya, the fragment of the Trinity Mirror in its hilt allowing it to be easily grasped as it comes near him, as he hurls Kanshou at Des, drawing and additional black sword from his belt-

Volkihar Chapel

Dune: ... I don't like this.

Deziree: He is supposed to be here, right?

Lumen: <Hm...>

-Lumen's hairs bristle as he starts sparking flames.-

Dune: Keep an eye out.

Tourney

Des charges forward and blocks the oncoming sword with his shoulder shield.

"Finally your true style has been revealed alongside my own!"

-Things are really, really quiet. Not even the sound of battle elsewhere in the castle penetrates the sanctum and it's tumbling, churning fog that flows around them-

-The thrown Kanshou clatters off to the side before arcing around-

Jacob: -Hurling Bakuya to the right, he steps forward to meet the charge with a heavy slash, drawing the spare Bakuya he has to try slamming the pommel into Des' abdomen-

"Indeed. I think you're the first person to not get struck by that. Though, how long will you hold out, have to defend your back as well as facing a frontal assault the rest of this fight?"

Tourney

His sword clashes with Jacob's as he locks blades with him. He sees the oncoming pommel and grabs Jacob's wrist before he can strike, his grip tightening.

He smirks, "The way I have the conditions set up, I won't have to."

Volkihar Chapel

-The silence weighs down on the trio.-

Dune: ...

Lumen: ...

Deziree: ... That's it, I'm throwing a grenade.

-She reaches under one of her armor plates and pulls out an infamously familiar grenade. She pulls the pin and chucks it at the altar.-

Dune: Woah, hey, talk before high explosives in the future, okay?

Jacob: -Smiles- "I don't think you understand exactly how it works but..."

-He bring his leg up to knee Des, lurching forward slightly to dodge the Kanshou Des had redirected as the thrown Bakuya glides in from behind Des-

-Jacob also drops the Kanshou locked with Des' sword, catching the one he just dodged as he, again, headbutts him-

Tourney

Jacob unfortunately gets a face full of shoulder shield.

Des brings his leg up to take the knee, gritting a bit but also smirking.

"After seeing you throw the first one, I was able to judge the width of your arc and..."

The sword that comes up behind Des collides with Des's other sword he had stuck in the ground.

"Made sure my back was guarded."

He quickly pops Jacob onto his shoulders and fireman throws him.

Battle Frontier

Holly: <Better, but you still need to get used to your wings!>

-She tries to blow Kiyo off course with an Icy Wind before she collides with Holly, which may or may not work as intended-

-Jacob is thrown, right over the sword that just bounced off Des' impaled sword and proceeds to smack Des' in the chest sideways, before falling to the ground, and twirling up towards Jacob, who had gotten back to his feet, catching and sheathing it-

"Even judging the arc, it'll continue to head towards me at a constant height no matter what's in it's way, you just stopped it for a second."

-All at once the fog shifts, rushing along the path of the grenade and coalescing in it's path before rushing away from where it is deflected. A deep, low rumbling laugh echoes through the room-

Harkon: Oh please, do you really believe I let myself be ambushed so easily?

-His form appears for a moment on one of the balconies, twisting from the mists. He's already assumed the inhuman form of the Vampire Lord, spells crackling in both taloned hands as he looks the three over-

Harkon: You underestimate what my benefactor has granted me since I arrived in this world!

-And with that, he vanishes again into the fog, an echoing laugh lingering-

A rather nasty looking red welt is now across Des's chest.

"...HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO LOOK SEXY FOR THE AUDIENCE NOW, MAGIC BOY?!?

He rushes at Jacob looking to shoulder tackle him.

"REDWAAAAAAAAALLL!!!"

Volkihar Chapel

Dune: Oh, come o-

Deziree: EYES!

-Dune and Deziree shield their eyes as the grenade explodes in brilliant flash of light and chaff, metallic particles scattering throughout the room.-

Dune: ... Woah, wait, what did that-

Deziree: EYES AGAIN!

-The grenades explodes a second time, the flash reflecting off of the chaff already in the air, making the second blinding flash so, so much worse.-

Lumen: <How do you make a grenade that explodes TWICE?!>

Dune: Welcome to MY world!

Tourney

Jacob: "... Ah. Fuck."

-He hurls both his swords into the ground and takes the tackle head-on, his eyes widening from the impact-

DEAR LORD I HOPE I THOUGHT ABOUT THIS RIGHT

-As he rolls backwards on to the ground he grabs Des' shoulders, dragging him with him-

-Jacob starts falling backwards, Des' momentum carrying them, as he lands he rolls and pushes Des up and way, Jacob using his legs to drive Des away, along with Des' own momentum to carry him through the air-

-The action causes Jacob to somersault a few times and land on his butt, spinning a little and slightly disoriented-

Battle Frontier

-The Icy wind, while it's dumbed down by Multiscale, doesn't blow her completely off course, though now Holly may have to deal with a draco foot to the face-

Jason:Ooooh.

-She Dragon Dances afterward regardless.-

Tourney

Des sails through the air before faceplanting.

He slowly lifts his head up.

"You...you Monkey Flipped me. You goaded me into a rage and used my momentum to flip me over."

He clambers to his knees his and looks up into the sky with despair.

"I...am unworthy."

"M-MASAKA BACCANO! I-IMPOSSIBLE!"

-The referee looks a little confused as to whether that constitutes a tap-out or not.-

Jacob: -Gives a disoriented wavy thumbs up, still spinning slightly from the impact-

"T-That's mmmmm talent for y-ya... A-Arceus damn you hit like a truck..."

-He staggers to his feet and wobbles over to his sword for support- "I-I could use a little water."

Glitz Pit

Battle Frontier, past

Hajime: "Yeah..."

-to Sergey- "Oh, uh, Fletcha says we spar so we are ready for situations like that."

Battle Frontier, present

-Ghostus and Airhead are in some place where the wind is fairly heavy-

-Airhead is giggling at the wind-

Ghostus: <...I have no idea why you're still following me.>

<Or are so amused by the wind.>

???: <In a wind like this, a child's scream becomes indistinct from the wind itself.>

-A bell is rung-

-Ghostus turns around and sees the voice came from Glöckchen-

Ghostus: <...I thought you were back in Challenger's Cave.>

Glöckchen: <I thought I wasn't.>

-kling-

-Ghostus sighs-

Battle Frontier — Past

-A draco foot to the face is a lot less damaging than a draco everything to the everything. She is smacked by the foot, but isn't particularly fazed. She turns around and uses a Moonblast on Kiyo.-

A pair of strong hands grab Jacob's shoulders and right him on his feet.

"You have shamed me in front of this crowd. That is a fate worse then death to a gladiator."

He lifts Jacob's arm.

"Let it be known that you have bested me in theatrics and guile, Unlimited Blades Jacob."

"Psst, that;s your new gimmick name."
