-Steven gives an uncharacteristic scowl-

...Are you talking about the Kalosian king's superweapon? This is being used for a much better purpose than what it's derived from as far as I can tell, so your mistakes of the past thing doesn't really work.

And my idea would be to temporarily turn the world's population into birds, but I don't think any of us know how to do that and I doubt your plan, whatever it is, is better than what we have.

Station of Sincerity

-A station stands in the void, a pillar of stained glass. On the station is a picture of a young woman, her face wreathed in red-blonde hair. She is encircled by a ring of gears and cogs, and backed by a bright sun on a serene desert.-

-Dune steps forth, the sound of his footsteps echoing into nothing.-

The time of trials approaches.

-Dune looks around for the source of the voice, but sees nothing.-

Your journey shall start in brightest midday, but time will not be on your side.

For evening will not stay long, and you will be plunged into twilight.

Darkness will become your close friend as the light struggles.

But remember, when those days are upon you...

-A shadow stretches across the ground. It stares at Dune with sunken eyes.-

Do not go gently into that good night.

-The shadow rises from the ground. Massive, huge, colossal. It towers high - a dark reflection, it's heart torn from it's chest, still bleeding of a broken heart. It bellows a roar, shaking the glass beneath their feet.-

-Dune steps forward, not afraid of the shadow. A sword, massive, carrying eight handles, forms in one hand. A spear, tipped in dragon's scales, in the other.-

Rage.

-The dark creature swings at Dune with massive claws. Dune swings back.-

-Suddenly, she hears something in the bushes nearby-

-She goes to investigate, calling out in a small, almost wispy voice-

-What she see's shocks her, claw marks and grass torched black, nearby are two Darmanitan, crying they're hearts out. The female, incidentally, is in Zen Mode.-

Darmanitan M:<Our baby giiiiiirl.>

Zen!Darmanitan:<Worry not...I have found her...>

-Suddenly Ignia is a Darumaka all over again...a tall, shadowed figure leans down topick her up...to steal her away, she tries to resist-

???:There we go...now I'm your "father"

-The figure laughs-

Zen!Darmanitan:<He stole you>

Male Darmanitan:<Took you from the love you deserved...>

-The Male Fire Punches the figure, causing them to topple over. The pair then proceed to tear the figure limb from limb. Through it all, Iggy hears screaming...she hear's Lane screaming. She tries to cover her ears but to no avail. She tries to close her eyes but the scene replays even on her eyelids. She see's the Darmanitan, their fur stained a dark crimson, even darker than their usual color...and smile.-

<Now...come home with us...>

-They begin to approach, arms open...and bloody mouths stretched into crazed grins.-

<Home....home...>

-They close in-

Iggy:<No...no...>

Mauville Center

Iggy:NO!

-Ignia sits up in a cold sweat.-

Daruuuuuu....

-Lane open to door-

Lane:Iggy...? Are you...alright?

Iggy:L...Lane...

-Lane walks over and sits on the bed-

Lane:I...heard you yell...is everything al-

-Iggy wraps her small arms aroun him and hugs Lane tightly, burying her face in his chest-

-She squeezes, letting the tears that were forming soak into the fabric of Lane's shirt-

-He hugs back, running his finger through Iggy's hair comfortingly-

-Zinnia turns back toward the doors as Robin and Jacob come out-

Zinnia: Oh, so you were done! Cool! Maybe we can talk a bit more, then!

Aster: <I really think we should get going.>

-The other two continue the Fairy Assault-

Zinnia: If we're being entirely honest—

-They're interrupted by a wave of Obscura passing right between Zinnia, Robin, and Jacob-

Jacob: -He jumps back, drawing Kanshou as he sends out Regina- "Robin, stay focused on Zinnia." -His voice is level, though his face is drawn in focus-
