Steven: I figure at this point no restrictions is kind of a given. If you're going to the next level, then so will we! Metagross!

Stevengross: -Starts firing off a mass of Shadow Balls-

Cobalt: -Uses his psychic rubble shield to block, before sending a wave of it at his opposite-

Stevengross: -Uses Psychic to break apart the rubble wave, before ramming into Cobalt at high speed- <You still have much to learn!>

Cobalt: <I've learned plenty, like what to do when an opponent's at close range!>

Earthquake!

Cobalt: -Unleashes an Earthquake on Stevengross so strong that it starts to crack a large gash in the arena from where it made contact-

Steven: Careful Tagg, we don't want to completely destroy the arena!

Stevengross: -Starts floating up with Magnet Rise while Cobalt does much the same- <Impressive!>

-And starts sending out yet more Shadow Balls-

Hajime: "Ah, yeah... I don't think I'm the best at fights either. I'm mostly here because of a group I'm travelling with. My team's admittedly trained more for 'in case something happens' than anything."

Cobalt: -Manages to bat a couple away with his limbs, but gets brought down to half health by several more- <Argh!>

Hang in there Cobalt!

Cobalt: -Attempts to smush Stevengross between two particularly large pieces of arena held up by telekinesis-

Stevengross: -Easily smashes through them- <You're mine!>

-And hits Cobalt hard enough that a dust plume erupts from his fists and where Cobalt got embedded into a wall-

Cobalt: -Is sent down to the red- <Ack!>

Steven: Now finish it!

Stevengross: <You fought well my son, but now, it's over!>

-And smashes Cobalt with a large piece of rubble doubled with four fists-

Cobalt: <Tagg, it's up to Muddy now...> @_@

Sergey: "Well that mostly goes for my team to, except for Magnus that is."

So like 11 years ago, it's Muddy and I once again, and Steven's Metagross has gotten even stronger than they were last time. But I refuse to lay down and accept defeat! I've beaten Steven before when I was way younger and less experienced a trainer, Muddy and I can sure as hell beat him now!

Muddy: -To Stevengross- <I remember the last time we fought, I probably would've lost if it weren't for Torrent.>

Stevengross: <That much is true.>

Muddy: -With conviction- <And now, I'm going to see if we can make our record 2-0 without it!>

-Revealing the Mega Wristband-

Now Steven, witness the power of OUR bonds! Muddy!

Muddy: -Readying his Swampertite- <Right!>

Mega!Muddy: -Erupts from his cocoon with an echoed roar as the ground cracks under him-

Muddy: -As Rain Dance is used- <All the way!>

-Somewhere in the stands, this song starts playing with all the 'Mickey's changed to 'Muddy's-

Hajime: "He looks like it, yeah."

"Buddy's probably the strongest on my team, mostly because he's been around the longest and the only one who's evolved."

"Oh, uh, though, I haven't introduced myself yet. I'm Hajime."

Steven's Chamber, past (If we're being generous since the arena looks like a bomb hit it)

Stevengross: -Starts sending out more and bigger pieces of rubble-

Muddy: -Flash Steps past most of them before punching through a couple with his fists- <Coming for you!>

Stevengross: -Meets with Muddy at the center of the arena, where they trade blows so hard that the shockwaves nearly blow Steven and I away-

Steven: -Over the winds- They're really into the fight, aren't they?!

I'll say!

Muddy: -Breaks off from the stalemate and tries smashing Stevengross with a large piece of arena rubble-

Stevengross: -Breaks it with a fist, before using Psychic to send Muddy flying into the walls-

Team Nova: -Seems to be arguing over whether they want to sing Uncontrollable or that...other song-

Muddy: -Loses about a quarter of his health from the resulting impact, but uses Waterfall to launch himself back into the arena, the momentum allowing him to slam Stevengross with an Aqua Tail-

Stevengross: -Is down to the last quarter of his health- <Impressive.>

-And then manages to smash Muddy underneath with Hammer Arm-

Muddy: -It crits, and Muddy is brought down to his last quarter of health as well- <Ack!>

-Uses Protect to block against the secondary blows, before using Waterfall to rocket back-

Stevengross: <ARGH!>

-And sends an even bigger stream of rubble heading towards Muddy-

Hajime: "Oh, nice to meet you, Sergey."

"And mostly travelling with a group of other trainers. Quite a few of them were doing League Challenges."

With how much of a beating we've been giving the arena I'm surprised we haven't sent it down into the abyss yet. And is Sol watching, I wonder?

Muddy: -Shatters the rubble into harmless bits with the shockwaves from a dual Earthquake Punch-

-Looking at the arena floor-

Of course, the conditions do give us a bit of an advantage...

Muddy, use Surf!

Muddy: -Summons a titanic wave to send at Stevengross-

Stevengross: -Blocks with a Protect as most of it crashes harmlessly into the abyss- <Really, that's it?>

Muddy: -Has been swimming through the wave this whole time, and jumps up to try nailing them with an Earthquake-

Stevengross: -Slams a limb into the ground so that it's shockwaves manage to send Muddy flying once again- <You LOSE!>

-Only to realize that they've gotten said limb trapped in the arena floor due to the weakening of the arena from the repeated Earthquakes and water damage-
